Not sure why I have not seen your channel. Excellent, positive fishing presentation!!! We go to north Vancouver Island every year in July/August... Your type of production holds me over while waiting in frozen Alberta lol
Thank you very much, Vrod! I appreciate your feedback. I try to capture the moments 😊. July/august/September are great months for Salmon fishing. I also can't wait for warmer weather.
I just brought the camera. Nature literally did the rest. Such a beautiful place to live and enjoy such a fishery. 😅 always have to get the brownie points lol. Thanks for watching!😊👍
Thanks Danny! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. We had an excellent day for sure. Not always but always nice to come home with something. Thanks for dropping by and hope to see u on the next adventure😊
I have an 18ft legend xcalibur. My boat is considered small for ocean fishing. So I choose the days when I go out. If I was to get another boat I'd go a minimum 21ft or bigger. Some say aluminum boats coating isn't best for ocean aswell so they opt out to fiberglass. Not an expert just passing on the info I know. Hope that helps, thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Hope u enjoyed the video.😊
@@bbtvfishingismyhappyplace nice, im looking at the legend x 16 and the smoker craft tracer 162. Mainly will be used on lakes in the cariboo but hoping to get out to the coast salmon fishing here and there as well. thanks for the reply!
I love your videos but you need to handle those undersized fish better. The least amount of handling assures a better survival Chance. If it's clearly unsized use a gaff hook to release the fish without bringing the fish aboard the boat or touching it. Best chance of survival
Hi Chris, thanks for the feedback. Yep, I hear you loud and clear. I''ve adapted the gaff release nowadays. My recent videos will reflect this aswell 😊. Tightlines!
Fraser tidal open outside river inside closed to sports fishing for salmon , may open sporadically if numbers allow .keep your ears open and check dfo sites for inside openings

10:15 am, try slowing the kicker when she's bringing in a fish.
I'll give that a try! Definitely need to get her back out again. Next good weather, we will go for winter chinooks and prawns.
Eprc day on the water and great video!

Awesome choices. Just have to be choosy on your days. Love the cariboo. Good luck! 👍

Hi is chinook only in Salt water or can we fish them in fraser river as well ?
U can certainly fish Fraser tidal or non tidal for them. As long as it's open then it's totally do able! After all they all have to return one day.
