Singapore Airlines has the most beautiful flight attendant uniforms. I ran into a Singapore cabin crew in the hotel lobby in Frankfurt years ago, and they were the most polite crew I have ever met.

Have flown Singapore Air many times to Bangkok and to Cebu-Mactan Scout. Living from Washington state and now Singapore comes into Seattle. Formerly had to had travel to SFO. The FA are so gracious and beautiful and great to see you on street clothes and everyday life. Living in Cebu now with my wife. Always wanted to layover in Singapore to tour the terminal there and the city. We are thinking of a 2 day stop there. Going to Europe. Thanks

Isn't Japan awesome?! I went a few years ago to Tokyo for a week. There is no other place like it! I usually fly SIA to the UK from New Zealand as my husband is from the UK so we go back to see family every few years. The SIA cabin crew are always so lovely and look immaculate, even after working a 12 hour flight! Have you ever been to NZ? If not, you should try and get a flight here! Especially to Christchurch, which as you will know is a direct flight. I promise you won't regret it 😄

Helpful vid. I'm currently taking a human factors in aviation class (yes, it is as dry as it sounds, like burnt toast dry), and getting this behind-the-scenes knowledge is very helpful. Back in April, I flew SQ for the first time, and on the return leg from Kuala Lumpur to Changi, it was an A350 because of the traffic on Eid weekend. I was able to chat with the cabin crew, and I asked how may days off does the crew get when they do that marathon 18 hr Changi-New York flight, and they replied 3 days at a hotel in the city, which I was glad to hear. As a native NYer, I feel no one should have to spend time in New Joisey if they don't have to.

Every job got the good and bad parts! Long haul flight let staff see the world for free but sleeping and timezone difference is a challenge.

Sadly it’s not allowed, you can lose your job for doing that. I’ve been vlogging so I have quite a number of videos before I quit :)

Hello! I don’t think I can make a video for that, sorry 🥺 I can give you a simple tip. Your room will probably cost around 1000sgd and you need to pay 1 month rental as deposit. You will be paid basic during training and after paying rental you can barely survive with the money so you need to bring more money to survive 4 months training + 1 month flying before your first pay comes in. Hope this helps 💞

In LA, so you take special precautions when staying in hotels? I’ve seen videos of people using hangers from the outside to open room doors
I don’t! Just double lock the door that’s it 😀
If you are worried, then just bring along a door wedge and slit at the door slit.

I did not know SQ has that short stay. I am ex CX, I remember we were staying same hotel in NYC, all bell boys were a lways rush to help SQ girls when we arrived . lol

Nice to see your travels, but gawd… trying to time your sleep across different time zones looks brutal. Do you actually sleep normal times when you’re back in SG or is jet lag a permanent issue in your life?
I know my body well so I know how to adjust it. It’s usually tougher when I come back from New York or New Zealand, other than that it’s usually fine.
Perfect place to go, moreover its pretty cheap now as the JPY has fallen a lot in value
I never know SIA have sandals? I wondering during what time you usually will be wearing it?
All the time except take off and landing, but I prefer not to wear at all during the flight. You can observe them next time when you see them in the airport or in the flight, or even google it because it's their iconic look :)

Great video. Here is a genuine, honest question for you. How do you keep your weight in control despite eating junk food? I saw you grabbed burgers, some fried food, etc. and those collect calories like no other!
Out of curiosity, i heard that sq crew aren't supposed to reveal themselves in their uniforms on video or photos, have they changed this rule?
No they have not and they are so strict. I have left the company :)

The only inconvenient thing about japan is they dont encourage you to eat or drink as you walk. If not u gonna have a hard time finding a dustbin.

Hi, if I have a chance I’ll make a video about interview process. But bear in mind my interview was 2016, the procedures may be different now. The training is almost 4 months 😀 Hope this helps
