Big thanks !
Glad you enjoy it and can understand me.
Trey, yet another awesome video. stunning work that you do. Keep up the great work.
WOW!!!
I love how you superimpose one photo over the other! So cool.
Glad you like that! Thanks for watching
Sorry I don’t know Jimmy Rodgers, just listened to him singing in your link below.
Thanks again for sharing these wonderful pictures of Elvis.
Excellent upload tray I have herd Jimmy Rogers before with T for Texas T for Tennessee. Another great job in this video about elvis as well big thumbs up 👑👑👍🇬🇧
Great job Trey!

Brilliant match up with the photo man. Cool
Thanks Alan, I felt it was cool
Thank You
I appreciate it
Good afternoon, Trey!! 🤗💕🌹😀
Good afternoon
Everybody showed up dressed to the nines, women wearing beautifully printed cotton Summer dresses hoping to catch a wink from the King sitting on the hood of that famous pink Caddy he bought for Gladys. ..times they sure were special then, thank you Trey..we love the match ups because you can describe the locations to a T !
I got shivers down my arms seeing where you were standing and knowing how so much history played out in the spot you were standing. . 60 thousand lining those streets, that’s crazy❗️
It was a different time, different place..
Such a great and interesting video Trey! It would be awesome if that film was found in the archives. So awesome! Keep up the great work, you are doing awesome and I always love when you line up the photo's.
My dad loved jimmy Rogers and country western and Elvis and introduce his family to them I been a Elvis fan a long time thanks for this video
Thanks for your hard work so we can ejoy Elvis fruits.
Hi Trey ...thanx for the upload
at first glance I thought EP was looking down at his cell #
phone ...whopping 60,000
People that's huge for 1955
Wow! Elvis, an up & comer, sitting on the hood of a car with Jimmie Rodgers Snow, for a parade for Jimmie Rodgers, in Jimmy Rodgers hometown. With Hank Snows’ son. That is top billing for an up and comer. Impressive. Destined to be a legend even back in 55
Hi Trey,
Thank you Trey as always
I love your videos and the history behind every episode.
I love the coloured photo of his pink Cadillac. I never realized it was a pink Cadillac that burned in that fire. Those photos of that burned car 😳 were shocking to see.
Glad you enjoyed it and learned something new
Excellent story! I’ve never heard/saw before. Nice building match up.
Well done Trey!
I can’t believe they covered up those arches on the front of that building. 😳😮😦
Yea they messed up that building for sure!
Really enjoyed this video today Trey. ~ Pallas
Thanks for watching Pallas!
Hi Trey,
Great video so interesting and great interview.
Really appreciate your videos. Thank you Trey xxx 💝
Великолепный рассказ. Элвис настолько был уважительным к талантливым людям, что принимал активное участие в почитании их памяти.
I love these stories. I wish my grandfather was still here to watch these videos about Elvis , Jimmy Rogers, and Hank Snow. He would have loved them all . He especially would have loved this one because he was from Mississippi. Great research Trey on Elvis' camera. That was interesting as well.
It's so cool to see Elvis with his camera. He always loved anything new that came out and always one of the first people to get it. Another cool video and history lesson Trey! Such a shame that Jimmy Rodgers also died so young.
Not any miracle drugs to help stop tb it still requires a lot of healing.
Nice work Trey, how I wish I could of been there back in the days to witness the greatest entertaining phenomenon in history!!
It would have been fun but the downside is we would be old now and might not be here! lol
Love all your videos I always learn something new! Thanks!
Thank you Tray. Great work.
Good work Trey. Love it 👍
Great vlog Trey 👍👍. You can see Hank Snow in the back of that parade car with Ernest Tubb.
Thanks for pointing that out man.. didn’t realize that
@@GlobetrottingWithTrey you're welcome! We've seen the pic of Elvis in the parade but I'd not seen the Tubb/Snow pic before 👍👍
Meridian is a really cool city
It seems like it is
Hello Trey hope you’re safe my friend loved the video just wish I could have been there keep up the great work my friend stay safe and much appreciated ⚡️⚡️🇬🇧🇬🇧
Great job Trey! Keep up the great work you are doing with your videos! Loving Elvis Forever from Canada 🇨🇦
I appreciate it! Thanks for watching
Trey your getting better and better everytime! I Really enjoyed it. I know the City I'm living in now, if a old building is changed they cannot remove the existing structure, but they can cover the structure to preserve the. History! Thanks for your Work!
I’m giving you an “a” in elvis history “ Elvis was “eye candy “ sitting on the hood of that pink caddy....they don’t make cars 🚗 like they used too. We did everything on the hood of a car, including sun bathing, dancing, and “star gazing”. No wonder Elvis could sing “ country “,just look at who is mentors were!
Thank you Trey for all your Elvis videos! I've been obsessed with Elvis all my life, thanks to my Mom and Dad who were the same age as Elvis and June! Also my Dad was an Airman at Keesler AFB in 1955 and attended the Elvis concert that Elvis and June met! Thanks again for these special videos.
That’s awesome.. what had your dad said about that concert?? I plan to get on Keesler soon
@@GlobetrottingWithTrey He really enjoyed the concert! He told me it was the talk of the Base. Another cool connection was my parents got married that same year on November 19 June Juanico's Birthday. My mom was still a Senior in highschool. Thanks again Trey.🤗
Trey you should make an interactive map so when borders open up etc people can travel out to Memphis etc and find these spots for themselves. Maybe make it paid. Could enhance a trip I know id pay for something easy to use.
Stay tuned man!
this is so awesome so sad that camera and Elvis's car got burnt up .. He sure made up for that. Love all your great videos and research of our man Elvis Presley.
Thanks Heidi, glad you enjoyed it
Awesome Trey. Love the Elvis history.
Amazing story, thanks 💕
Thanks for watching..hope you learned something new about EP!
I remember the days when you could sit on a car hood without causing permanent damage. 😂
Lol 😂 so true
Thanks You for the great dates, details Trey. Nice match up of the black & white photo to the refaced TV building. Always wonder why,,what the reasoning is, so many of these grand old buildings get hacked up,after being repurchased,,,this one included from the grand arched entryway,,,to the 'boxy' afterthought looking entry it was converted to now. Have heard Jimmy Rogers name many times but have not listened to any of his songs. Will have to listen to some of Jimmy Rogers songs now. Have mentioned this before,,,but,, having a movie camera even up into the early 70's was very much a luxury to have. That is so hard to picture in this day and age of throw away price nice digital video cameras.
Great stuff!!
Great stuff as usual Trey! Jimmie influenced and continues to influence artists til this day, just like Elvis. I’m sure Elvis played his records when he was a kid!
No doubt.. so it was fun for him to be there in 1955 to celebrate his life
Dang Trey , I was just thinking the same ! Could that camera have the film saved ??? I wish we knew !! But awesome story and love all the knowledge and exact spots you capture! THANK YOU TREY👍🏼🙌🏼🆒✌️😎
I bet it was and is in a shoebox at Graceland... if they find it one day we now where it came from!
Thank you Trey-love your videos of Elvis
Thank u Trey another Good ☝️⚡️⚡️TCB ⚡️⚡️
Awesome video & stories Trey👍🏻
Some really cool pix too, it would be Great if Elvis's film was found at Graceland!
Thanks Trey
Stay safe Brother ✌🏻
I have hope the film still exists!
@@GlobetrottingWithTrey Ahhh yeah, that would be so cool! 🤞🏻🙏🏻
Very interesting and informative. Thanks from the No. 1 Elvis fan of all time!
Glad you enjoyed Nita “the #1 Elvis fan of all time”
Excelente
The spa Elvis guy 😆
That’s a good one
Trey that is actually the 1954 Cadillac he is setting on. You can tell by the cones on the front. This is the caddy that burned. The camera he is using burnt up in the glovebox.
Johnny did you watch the film? All that information is all there.
Incrível
Hi Globetrotting!!!!
Foi live in Tupelo?
I’m not sure what you are asking, Elvis did live in Tupelo the first 13 years of his life
@@GlobetrottingWithTrey Ok! Globetrotting. I want to buy a guitar in Tupelo Hardware, but i live in Brazil.
You can to see the price for me please? This is possible?
I thanks!
I Already asked the SPA also.
Trey, do you know where the picture of Elvis with his camera on his shoulder and all the cars behind him was taken?? It looks like maybe he was at a car show??? Just curious!
I believe it was in Florida
Any idea where the car ended up ? A chance its just sitting in a junkyard someplace ?
We are definitely looking!
Ok man in interview is he sitting in front of the TCB bus? Asking Trey
Not that long ago my brother
It was a few years ago. Ha
I didn't think he had the cadillac until 56' but then maybe he lived at audubon drive when he bought it, then they moved to Graceland.
Thank-You for these pics which
I had not seen.
Oh my, so maybe there were two pink caddies!
This one was a convertible, but was the one at Graceland a convertible?
I dunno.
This is the first caddy that would burn a few days later in Texarkana.. search spa guy Elvis Texarkana and you will see the location and learn that story
How do we know the camera was in the glovebox?
I read the article of the car catching on fire and it mentioned his camera burned up in the glovebox.
Less affectation on the voice would be nice.
Amazing how they destroyed (& continue to ruin) the look of beautiful buildings under the guise of newer, better, modernize. Ick...

Trey not sure if you seen this but here is VIDEO FOOTAGE FROM THAT DAY!!!
ua-cam.com/video/3XgS5VQHYUk/v-deo.html
Yes, that’s from when that picture was captured with the camera!
its in front of kate griffin school, you have no clue what you are talking about,
You may want to debunk me then and make a video.. but my research brought me here.. I lined a few pictures up plus you see them turn left down the road and that building is in the back ground.. it’s the right place man. I just researched the school and nothing lined up and the school building is too big.
@@GlobetrottingWithTrey , the picture you have described is 28th avenue near the corner of Davis street, the arch doorway in the picture is the east entrance to Kate Griffin school, across the street is Calvary Christian school, I can send you pictures or just get on google earth and check it out, you will see the old school is almost the same as when the parade came by.
@@GlobetrottingWithTrey You are absolutely correct. It was the YMCA at the time. Love the videos 👍
Great job Trey!
