Love this video! My fiancé and I met you in Annapolis last month where I mentioned you were responsible for us purchasing an Aventura 37. Just keeping you updated - we will be going to Bizerte to pick it up and sail it back to Houston ourselves this coming January. I do know what you mean! I am torn knowing that a cat is the best for my wife, while being g drawn to the beauty and romance of a monohull. There are one or two options that do stir the heart in the multihull space. Have a look at the Dragonfly 40. Stunning! Or the HH52. Or, of course, the most beautiful of all, the Gunboat 70.

I found that the designs that came out in recent years, they actually do not differ that much layout, decor or tech wise. It all boils down to the quality of finish and the feel when they're underway and of course the price tag.
Hey Jet. Actually, for a 45 the Aventura is a significant departure with full walk around berths, cockpit access to the owner's suit and a full sized refrigerator. There is nothing in this size or price that comes close. Thanks for watching!!

Hi Dave, I watched 37 and 45s videos.aventura 37 Hull material is better then FP but 45s hull material is worse then FP. I think aventura using same hull material for both model. Can you clarify this point please? Thank you.
Sorry for the confusion. Based on just the descriptions on paper, both hulls are constructed to about the same standard. Both are polyester and glass with a foam core above the waterline and monolithic polyester below the waterline. Both use some type of resin and isophthalic NPG gelcoat for blister resistance. Having said that, the info is a little fuzzy and you should check directly with your dealer and the factory. Some data on the FP indicates that some models use a balsa core above the water line, but this could simply be outdated or wrong. Thanks for watching and asking these questions! D

Hi Steve. I’m not sure what you mean. Maintenance across the brands is pretty equal, other than build quality. It also depends on the size and complexity of the vessel. The more toys, the more maintenance. Hope this helps. D
@@navalgazingatcampdavid yeah, I was thinking that some of the cheaper cats are probably cheap for a reason. Usually it’s in the quality of the materials, appliances, etc.. usually those boats need refitting sooner and more fixes along the way.
Needs a hardtop and enclosure for the helm. Skin cancer/weather protection! Really interesting boat though. Not a fan of the cockpit access to the rear berths. Would rather a window/screen there and a hatch above. Make better use of that space, eliminate the gasketed door. Cheaper to build, more storage space.
Hey Thomabrasse, I'm sure that they will have a good helm Bimini solution. Everyone takes them down or shows a render without them to make the boat look sleeker. Interesting perspective on their cockpit access to the berth. You have a point, but I do like that option, especially if there are guests on board. Thanks for your comment! D
@@navalgazingatcampdavid Aventura 45 is excellent, excellent design. But expensive for me. It's a shame they don't have an intermediate model between 37 and 45. I would buy it without thinking too much :) 37 is too small 45 is too huge 40 is the best in my personal opinion :)
