Your bike is gonna be badass by the time your finally done...get videos I love watching them can't wait to get my bike going...I'm definitely gonna us your videos..keep up the great work and videos
lol. its like my bike is looking into a mirror. no joke..i got the same paint scheme, same ASV levers, same after market mirrors, passenger seat cover, ram mount, even the exact same socks over the reserviors... i have a power commander. welcome to the club. the F1 light seems to be a common occurence with the PC.. you need to go into Honda to get that turned off.
Hey, Great Videos... I'm looking at getting a 2005 and 2006... But watching your Videos on the History of the Honda CBR600RR... I See that the 2007 and 2008 Years are much better and Lighter... But would l Really see and Feel the Differences Between Those Years... 2005&06 vs 2007&08......... Before Watching your Videos... I bought a 1999 Honda VFR800FI INTERCEPTOR IN end of 2019, being 2020... I Happened to be in a dealership just looking.... Found that Lovely Beautiful Gorgeous Bike..... Only a year ago or so, I UA-cam it... Finding you Great 👍 👌 Videos on it THE VFR!!!!! NOW I'm Hooked on these Sweet Honda Bikes.... so Able to help with some Tips....
Did you install block off plates for the pair system pc valves? Or just the 5/8 cap in the air box. Trying to figure out what I need to all do to the pair system. Thanks
Hey mate, thanks for the performance videos, they've been very helpful for my mods. However, I realized that you mounted your quickshifter on the upper injectors, was your QS set for that? I had to install mine near the engine block-off plates, eliminating that solenoid and two hoses. When you got that FI light on the dash, was it only the throttle sensor? I got an FI light as well but I am pretty sure that sensor is connected, did you find anything else that may help? FI light is not blibking, it stays on. Cheers
so did you start tracking mpg after the install? Do you think it changed a lot? How's the exhaust sound now? Can you feel the increase in torque in the bike? Thinking of installing my juice box that came with my bike...
Haven't checked MPG, before I installed this the most mpg I ever got was 54, but I sometimes only got 38 depending on how I ride. MPG doesn't matter to me, as long as I am not getting above 30 idc. It's winter time here so I haven't had really a chance to ride it. I took it out a few times and I was very pleased with performance, but that was after auto tune was installed. Without it the bike was jerky feeling.
Question... each branch off the PCV harness has grey n black plug, grey goes into injector and stock injector plug goes into black plug on PCV harness correct ?? Ty!
Thanks for the great video HEROrr! my CBR600rr has got the TOCE exhaust on and I was actually thinking of installing the PowerCommander to get her to run better. Anyways, I have got a couple of questions. Could you tell me what mirrors are the ones you've got on? They look savage with the integrated indicators! Would they be a pain in the neck to remove for track days?
why do you have dyno mat or that damper stick on stuff? if thats what it is. Also, your video is the reason i fell in love with a cbr, bought one because of your video
How big of a difference did u see in the power commander 5 and quick shifter from stock ? I have a power commander 3 on my 08 RR wanna go with the newest version
I'm really interested on how your bike is gonna respond b/c I've been wanting to get a PC5 for my CBR too.I had a mechanic tell me that I was gonna waste my money. Thanks for making the video.
superbest948 I like my PC so i can play with AFR myself,,, being a Triumph kid were always runnin rich 14+ at some positions so i can get that crackle pop n Bang,,,and the flameage never hurts,,,, then in 2 mins i just go back to the dyno map and bang good to go,,, worth every penny to a tune boy like me!!! KeepSafe...
Hey bud, if you were to switch it to gp shift, will that push sensor work? Or would you need a pull sensor? Just wondering if my pull sensor will work or not.
I notice your Ram mount at the very end of this video.. how do you like it, would you recommend it.. i have a cbr1000rr 2005.. does it hold cell? From 1 to 10, 10 being best?
I'd give it about a 9, it holds well and is secure but it takes a minute to put those little rubber things on to hold into place. Which is why I upgraded to quad lock since it's more convenient.
And when u capped off the plastic piece on the left side in the air box, are u sure that’s the correct side that’s supposed to get capped off? I asked my tuner and he didn’t know about my bike but he said make sure u cap off the right piece because if u cap off the crank case breather then it’s gonna leak oil from too much pressure
How well does the dynojet quickshifter work with the pcv? I would never let you pair work on my bike, pliers to hold the shift rod....really? There are several better ways to block off the pair system than adding something to the air box, ok it looked pretty snug but still. Do it right, do it once
The QS works great with the PCV, you'll see in a later video of me testing it out, it's awesome! I mean, he used the pliers for like 1 second before I gave him a proper wrench. In the video he actually said you are not supposed to do it this way. The PAIR system is blocked off properly and is the easiest/quickest way. Trust me if that rubber falls off and goes into the engine then I will paypal you $100 and say you were right. lol and don't worry we wouldn't work on anyone else's bike but our own :)
+Siddharth Sharma I'll have to get back to you on that because I haven't had a real chance to try it. But I think the pcv is worth it for my application it all depends if you want more power and better throttle response or not
Siddharth Sharma I have a pc5 and a quickshifter on my cbr f4i and I love it. You will feel a power difference and it smooths out the powerband so you have more of a constant pull and with the qs there is no delay between shifts so you just keep pulling. scared me the first time. plus you have more low-end torque so instead of waiting for the power at 10k you get more from 6k all the way up
Siddharth Sharma It's definitely a worthwhile mod. The reason why people say it isn't worth it is that it only makes your bike slightly faster, but it makes it feel a whole lot better. I spent over a grand for my setup (you'll see in next video) I could buy another bike for that price. So you have to weigh in on your options. I don't regret it but I wouldn't say it's for everyone! Hope this helps!
HEROrr Now I need that PC5 :) I just love the feeling of riding 600rr even after trying out several 1000cc bike mainly because of its awesome throttle response and high reving engine. If pc5 can make it better then I am game.
Hey hero, did you ever have any issues with the pair valve capped off? No clamp is ok? Any issues with air fuel ratio? In dire need of this specific info. Hope this gets to you, thanks brother.
All that pain in the ass is why I never put my power commander on. Plus I've never raced and my 636 has enough power for me at least for now. I'm really wanting those braided brake lines though.
Why don't you make a challenge for your subscribers to make you a mask and vote, the winner gets something? makes your video quality better and you look cool.
Great videos! Any thought of doing a fork seal change? My 08 CBR 600 RR started leaking from both front seals a couple of weeks ago and I cant find too many good videos on it.
Here's a video I found that is really good, Ari is a certified mechanic and knows his stuff 1,000 times more than I do. ua-cam.com/video/k884DfM2LsU/v-deo.html
I have to because of my job. Other videos that show my face are no longer here. Sorry guys, I'll show my face again once I get a new job, but for now this is just the way it has to be :(
Man if I be honest can I say ya'll definitely look like youre winging the hell out of it like oh whats this and where this go LOL but good job way to make it work.
+octaviakf lol yeah this wasn't meant to be a tutorial, none of these videos are. It's more just me adding parts to my bike lol. Noah has some experience with doing this so he knew more than I did. The directions are very good though we just didn't use them enough lol
octaviakf you can honestly wing this install it's easy and can only go one way. I might not be the best presenter but I've built engines from the ground up
octaviakf hey Noah, I have a question. Do you leave the pair valve covered only for tuning the bike the take it off once you are done? Or can it be left on there for good?
Because of my job I have to conceal my face. One day I won't have to, but until then, it has to remain concealed. I'm sorry :( Believe me the extra work of hiding it sucks.
2008 CBR600rr Graffiti Edition. 20k miles. Guy said it turns over but won't start, has been sitting for a year and a half, he tried a new battery but still not starting. May be bad gas or spark plugs. (Plugs I doubt). What can I do to get it to start? Or what might be the issue? Don't want to buy a money pit. Thanks in advance G man.
I didn't realize just how compact everything is on the cbr 600 till I had to check the valves on my 08.
I think if I zoom in I can pull your finger prints off that tank.
Your bike is gonna be badass by the time your finally done...get videos I love watching them can't wait to get my bike going...I'm definitely gonna us your videos..keep up the great work and videos

what should i do first for my cbr600rr 2008 ? just got it today... change my oil already.
Get the K&N race filter. And clean and lube the chain.
After the basics, my first mod/ mods were lighting. LED headlights, TST taillight. And the Tripage 1k mirrors.
so did you start tracking mpg after the install? Do you think it changed a lot? How's the exhaust sound now? Can you feel the increase in torque in the bike? Thinking of installing my juice box that came with my bike...

On my CBR600RR it gets pretty warm back there under the back seat. Do you think its safe from the heat on longer rides?
why do you have dyno mat or that damper stick on stuff? if thats what it is. Also, your video is the reason i fell in love with a cbr, bought one because of your video
Honda sure know how to make their bikes difficult.
How big of a difference did u see in the power commander 5 and quick shifter from stock ? I have a power commander 3 on my 08 RR wanna go with the newest version

same.
also im very interested in seeing how to quick shifter responds
Unless you get a custom tune from a dyno, just a PC5 will be a waste of money
superbest948 I like my PC so i can play with AFR myself,,, being a Triumph kid were always runnin rich 14+ at some positions so i can get that crackle pop n Bang,,,and the flameage never hurts,,,, then in 2 mins i just go back to the dyno map and bang good to go,,, worth every penny to a tune boy like me!!! How did you connect the tps?
Hey bud, if you were to switch it to gp shift, will that push sensor work? Or would you need a pull sensor? Just wondering if my pull sensor will work or not.
Doesn''t the quick-shifter plug directly into the PCV? Do you need the module?
No qs is a whole different module bro.
I notice your Ram mount at the very end of this video.. how do you like it, would you recommend it.. i have a cbr1000rr 2005.. does it hold cell? From 1 to 10, 10 being best?
It's an ok system. I have since upgraded to a quad lock setup.

thank you for these vids!
I just finished the install on my 08 600rr and it’s leaking oil, did u have the same issue?
...uhh no. Check your crankcase breather hose maybe.
HeroRR where is that located?
And when u capped off the plastic piece on the left side in the air box, are u sure that’s the correct side that’s supposed to get capped off? I asked my tuner and he didn’t know about my bike but he said make sure u cap off the right piece because if u cap off the crank case breather then it’s gonna leak oil from too much pressure
Any links to the quick shifter looking for one for mine
Are you gonna do the smog block off plates for it too? Cause I have been looking for video on it for the cbr and can’t find any
What mirrors do you have?? Do you have a link by chance?
How well does the dynojet quickshifter work with the pcv?
I would never let you pair work on my bike, pliers to hold the shift rod....really?

Hey, I was thinking of getting PC5 and quickshifter for my cbr. How does this setup feel? Should I consider standalone quickshifter like Bazzaz ?
+Siddharth Sharma I'll have to get back to you on that because I haven't had a real chance to try it. But I think the pcv is worth it for my application it all depends if you want more power and better throttle response or not

Can we put pc5 in 06 cbr600rr ??
What did you have to do to the tps ?
you pay to play that guy has the same brain as me great work btw.
Do you have to gas out when you shift a gear?
Hey hero, did you ever have any issues with the pair valve capped off?
No clamp is ok?
Any issues with air fuel ratio?
In dire need of this specific info. Hope this gets to you, thanks brother.

Don’t need super detailed info. Just yes it ran well or no I removed it haha
I'm gonna copy all your mods 😄
he has over $5000 worth of mods.
I miss the videos with the CBR. Wheres our baby at??
nice man, i would like to buh a honda cbr 600rr and installed slipper clutch
All that pain in the ass is why I never put my power commander on. Plus I've never raced and my 636 has enough power for me at least for now. I'm really wanting those braided brake lines though.
RR, man, i have the Bk moto headlights installed. idk man, i really am digging the oem look again... sigh
I really dig those BLmoto lights, they look great.

POWER COMMANDER!!!!!
Great videos! Any thought of doing a fork seal change? My 08 CBR 600 RR started leaking from both front seals a couple of weeks ago and I cant find too many good videos on it.
+Pink Puffin I'll see what I can. Gonna have to wait until my seals go though lol

Him turning the shift rod the wrong way was painful. The top is reversed thread....
POWER COMMANDER IS A WASTE OF TIME LOL , IT WILL ACTUALLY USE MORE FUEL FOR NO POWER INCREASE , JUST TAKE IT TO A DYNO TO GET MAPPED
There's other videos where you show your face. Why cover it now?
I have to because of my job. Other videos that show my face are no longer here. Sorry guys, I'll show my face again once I get a new job, but for now this is just the way it has to be :(
HEROrr oh ok 👌🏻
+the8jrfan you've been around a while man. I want you to know that I appreciate it!
*****
Ya dude you're one of my favs keep it up!
Guy isn’t a very knowledgeable mechanic by the sounds😂 glad nothing got messed up 😂
Man if I be honest can I say ya'll definitely look like youre winging the hell out of it like oh whats this and where this go LOL but good job way to make it work.
+octaviakf lol yeah this wasn't meant to be a tutorial, none of these videos are. It's more just me adding parts to my bike lol. Noah has some experience with doing this so he knew more than I did. The directions are very good though we just didn't use them enough lol

Well that's great that ya'll made it work off a wing. I know me I would have been all in the directions LOL I don't know tools from nothing hahaha
I guarantee you would be able to get it done power commander makes it super simple
octaviakf hey Noah, I have a question. Do you leave the pair valve covered only for tuning the bike the take it off once you are done? Or can it be left on there for good?
Seems like a lot of stuff to put back together, taking it part would be easier remembering what goes where eh
what's up with the no face stuff
Because of my job I have to conceal my face. One day I won't have to, but until then, it has to remain concealed. I'm sorry :( Believe me the extra work of hiding it sucks.
Like my facebook page for updates!!! facebook.com/TheHeroRR/
If you have to blur faces, do it properly.
Rishabh Sharma I wanted to do something different besides blurring faces.
+HEROrr outtro song?

This channel is so vanilla and monotone...😞
Thought you really had a helmet on 😂
power commander in honda... Wtf !!! 0_0
first
Is that the right spot that’s supposed to be capped off? I thought it’s supposed to be on the right side?
