Casinos are carpeted in crazy colorful patterns and lots of neon lights plus no windows so you lose track of time as you lose your money. Everything in a casino is designed to make you spend.
Their carpets have incredibly deep and soft padding, too, which makes it easy to stand at slot machines for hours. If you ever have to go through a casino in a wheelchair, just avoid the carpeted areas because it's nearly impossible to wheel yourself over that thick padding.
I used to work at a casino and they have brightly colored carpets because it's easier for surveillance to spot bank notes on the ground due to contrast.
me: yea so wich would be a better idea to stop homelessness? and why? A. help them B. ruin their lives even more C. give them a place to live the goverment: B would be the best!!! me: why? the goverment: its the cheapest way me: ...... why did my boss put that on the decicion list!?!?
In Finland, there are 0 Finnish homeless people, why? Because they are given free healthcare, just like everyone else, and they are given a small apartment to live in, of course not the best of the best, but good enough to live in. Plus they are given money to be able to get them selves food. But there are those stupid Romanians who beg for money on our streets, which is fucking stupid, I do hope they leave and never come back, or freeze to death. Taking up space... asking for money to take back to Romania to their fat ass bosses.
Fuck homeless people. People pay taxes for schools, roads, bridges and stuff. Government does not have any right to give taxpayers money to people who dont want to work
To those taking offense to those of us who have empathy for the homeless population... As a teenager I found myself in this situation and to all those who claim all homeless are lazy bums who put themselves there I sincerely hope that one day your eyes are opened to the atrocities and tragedies that occur day in and day out to so many who did not ask for it or deserve it. It's easy to sit back and say something so general about such a large demographic but it's not that black and white. I ran away from home at 16 to escape abuse, both physical and sexual and had no where to go and no one to turn to. I do not believe it was a situation deserved. Where we should make the distinction is not between those who are homeless and those who are not but between the homeless who want a better life, are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve it and those who are complacent in their state.
In today’s world, inflation is so high on the rise that not even $20 an hour is a livable wage in most areas. The homeless population is getting worse and worse and our government does nothing about it. A lot of people tell me just get a roommate well I’m sorry I don’t wanna have a roommate I wanna live by myself I don’t like living with other people I don’t like splitting the red I want to be independent and if I can’t have that then we are either overpopulated or a Third World country and when people tell me, we’re not overpopulated I’ll be like OK prove me wrong it’s crowded everywhere you go there’s more and more homeless people. Every apartment. I look at is gone by the time I apply the rent is too high. There is lack of jobs and opportunity like I don’t see the proof.
my fave public manipulation device: playing Mozart in public places where unwanted youths gather is known to make them move off - they are attuned to trash sound, and Mozart is famously 'intellectually stimulating' which they find difficult to handle. And I like Mozart.
My highschool would play classical and experimental music to get everyone to leave. Me and a few people would go stand around by the washroom because we wanted to listen to the music and hang out where it wasn't cold (and because 13 year olds are weird like that) I guess they realized that The Freaks stayed because of the music, because they stopped playing it. Guess they preferred the people who hung out in the hallways and got into fights over games of quarters.
Some do prefer the homeless lifestyle. Not many, but as someone who has some history feeding those guys, a few prefer the homeless life than the trappings of maintaining a home, paying bills, following somebody's rules. Again, I haven't heard it much, but I've been told more than a few times.
Large company's also put large tiles in the beginning of the store, then the tiles get smaller as you go further into the store. You subconsciously hear the carts clicking get faster making you walk slower. Slower you walk, more time you have to view all the nice goods.
Also simple colors are a huge deal. Restaurants don't have the color red and yellow all over the place because its cool, it actually increases ones hunger drive when there surrounded by reds and yellows.
Yellow is the 1st color recognised by the brain, red makes the brain impulsive [food, casinos, etc]. Look at labels saying "New!" and that - yellow everywhere lol
Best way to prevent teenagers from hanging around in bad places:-Use the money to help set up more youth clubs, and places for them to go instead.Great video btw. 😊
good one, governement and other Places promises and breaks always . There were youth Clubs here where i live, but it was torn Down to make more parking Spaces .
CAT, the reason is because in the mid-80s the courts decided to not keep people who are mentally ill in hospitals...basically making it illegal to have mental asylums. Therefore many people are left on the street with untreated mental illness.
@@ThaylorHarmor Because middle class and wealthy people won't pay taxes to make this possible. It costs money to run hospitals/programs for mentally ill. I believe the de-institutionalization movement goes back at least 10 years earlier than you've suggested here. See www.thebalance.com/deinstitutionalization-3306067. The government wanted to save money so it dumped mentally ill people on the street without proper support services.
O.K. I don't want to sound insensitive, but here goes. Back in the nineteen sixties we used to call homeless people "garbage pickers". I came from an abusive home and after my Pop died my mother would throw me out on numerous occasions. She would then call the cops and report me as a runaway. Fortunately we lived in Florida so I didn't have to deal with cold weather too much. I learned quickly how to avoid the police. Sometimes my friends parents knowing what my mother was would take me in . Every few days I'd slip a dime into a pay phone and ask her if I could come home. When I became a teenager I would spend many nights sleeping in my old jalopy of a car. Simply put, I was homeless but I WORKED my way out of it! Now please, don't tell me I'm speaking with the voice of privilege! I try to contribute when I can to help those less fortunate than I. Y'know , this kind of reminds me of a scene from "A Christmas Carol". The Ghost of Christmas present shows Scrooge the misery of the homeless. Scrooge then replies " I don't understand! People wearing Rags, children eating scraps! There are supposed to be institutions for these people!" "Have you ever visited these institutions?" asked the ghost. "I'm taxed for them! Isn't that enough?" Scrooge asked. "Is it? Is it really? " replied the ghost. Scrooge makes an excellent point! Where is all that tax money going?
I am sorry you were treated like that by your own mother and I understand where you are coming from. I really agree with your last sentiment as well. However, not all homeless have the ability to work their own way out because so many of them are mentally ill.
Shepperd November all that money goes so government can make highteck science concepts quantum stealth bending light invisibility cloak Nanobots metaterials nickola teslas antigravity space craft extc
Shepperd November - I had both parents that were married and yet I still found myself homeless because of my mom's ridiculous rules (if I was told to be home at 9 and wasn't there at 8:30, I'd get kicked out, if my curfew was 9 (which it almost always was, even when I turned 19) but they knew I didn't get out of WORK until 10, I would often come home to my clothes on the yard (if I was lucky) and the locks changed. I had no where to go so if she hadn't disabled my car I would drive to a 24 hours store and sleep; if no car I would go sleep in the park near our house. I would get harassed by men a lot (I was a good looking teenager), harassed by the cops, reported as a runaway on drugs (which I was not on-the worst I did was smoke cigarettes) conveniently, my mom always had the drugs when the cops would bring me home-seriously, if I was running away, wouldn't it have taken those with me? lol
AL P HOLY CRAP! Are we related? Mine did the same! My heart goes out to you! Being fat (and a boy) I was never sexually harassed. But I was fat shamed. My mother would constantly tell me "YOU'RE NO G--DD----MED GOOD AND YOU NEVER WILL BE!" We'd get into arguments over the dumbest things. After the fight was over and I was proved right I'd say "Ma, I live for the day you admit you're wrong." She'd reply "Ya know what day I live for! YOUR FUNERAL! " I hope you've overcome. G-d be with you. Shalom.
whats inhumane is that the councils and the governments do not help the homeless but instead expect businesses to make their property 'homeless friendly.'
Mark, wth are you talking about, guy? Our city spends loads on shelters & food for the homeless. Most places have some kind of resources for the unfortunate. It's the bums who screw it up for everyone. I've been homeless, broke, sick-- as if old wasn't bad enough. I bothered no one, did my best to be clean, looked for resources, & made friends. Bums do none of that, in fact, they do the opposite. Screw 'em! I've no sympathy at all.
Lily, I graduated from college w/ a bachelor degree. I served 7 1/2 yrs. in the military, rising from boot recruit to an officer. I wrote a book, invented a game, & have traveled 5 continents. Shtuff happens, Lily. Life is unpredictable. What was good a generation ago has no application in the next. Some guys just have all the luck, ya know?
If they don't want homeless people not to sleep there make some places were the homeless people can make a home from what they want if they don't have the money to get a house and I'm assuming that their families don't particularly like them or their family isn't any better off
There are plenty of shelters & missions, Sabo. And if the homeless are civil about it, they'll probably find lots of folks willing to help them up out of their misery. Experience talking here.
The antihomeless designs would not be a problem if we abolished involuntary homelessness. Give them a place to live and give them information on access to additional services such as job counseling, educational opportunities, psychiatry, and drug rehabilitation. But don't require them to use them. Housing provides the necessary stability that can help people to reassess their lives and deal with their problems. Once that is done then nobody has any excuse to sleep on a bench.
SickT, that might work for guys like me-- who wanted to get out of that rut. Others are too mentally unstable to know what's good for them anymore. And others yet are rotten to the core. Laws are made for good people. Some folks have to be forced to do anything constructive. Life.
How would you keep from sliding off the slanted surfaces? Defeat the lumps bumps and spikes on other surfaces? Sleep or just lie down on benches with"arm rests?"
Where you gonna get a pillow? If you got one, how's that gonna help on the arm rest benches, slanted benches, and seatless ones. Many homeless, especially those who sleep rough, have managed to put together efficient bed rolls, much more efficient than your pillow. The lumps and bumps are felt through thick pads and air mattresses. Have you ever slept rough? By that I mean on a camping trip and slept on the ground? If you have you know that even the most minor lumps, bumps, depressions, pebbles etc. have a way of being felt through thick ground pads. The lumps and bumps are not minor, your pillow will is of small use. The spikes would rip it to shreds.
There is lots of this stuff around everywhere, but I never thought about "Fake CCTV Cameras", this must be why the terrorists usually get away!

LMFAO! We have the lowest rates of terrorism for 30 years ffs. You buy into the war on terror narrative while your rights are taken away infront of your eyes, We don't need cctv, we need people to chill out and we need the mainstream media to stfu with the terrorism narrative.
In many ways I actually agree with you, and "terrorism" is such an awkward word, it can be applied to anyone who disagrees with TPTB, but you missed my original point, where I was commenting on the use of fake CCTV cameras to deter crime! It doesn't matter whether I buy into the "terror narrative" or not, you should realise that our "rights" are being eroded constantly, if it wasn't "terrorism" it would be some other "narrative" being used to justify the destruction of "our rights".
fumomo fumosarum no she shouldn't because SOMETIMES they can be perverts, robbers, and just plainly bad people yes there are some honest people buttt I waouldnt want risk it
Can someone please explain how kids hanging around is antisocial behavior? Because I'd rather my kids be out hanging with other kids rather than hiding behind a keyboard saying they're socializing by way of media.
It's the tragedy of the commons. The solution is to not have commons, but left-wingers will never allow that. They would rather everything be shit than to see capitalism solving problems.
They can sleep just fine, in a bed, under a roof, in a homeless shelter where they have to be sober and actively look for work. So... why don't the homeless want to sleep in a relatively warm bed?
We Yanks still have compassion for the homeless. We try to make it better for them by providing safe places to live. We have restaurants in town that feed them and food bank service. We have cameras but not as much as in London.
Shopping malls sometimes play classical music in areas where they don't want teenagers to loiter, because most teenagers hate classical music. They also play high pitched noises that drive young people crazy, but older people can't hear them. Another manipulative design is placebo buttons; these are things like buttons in elevators and at crosswalks that don't actually do anything, but make people feel like they have done something, such as door close buttons and walk buttons which are actually on a timer and not controlled by the buttons at all.
Placebo buttons tend to make people less impatient because they feel like they are in control of a situation. For instance, people are less likely to jaywalk if they have a button that they can press which they believe activates the crosswalk lights, even though it is not really activating it.
all the buttons I press they do work ... most of them ... I checked it ... I wrote down the seconds a door need to close with and without the pressing of a button
This anti- homeless sentiment sickens me. It really does. I was homeless for 4 years myself from 15 to 19, and believe me, no one wants to sleep rough. It's no one's first choice. We should be trying to help people in this situation, not making life as difficult as possible. I was even refused help from police once because "it was my own fault for sleeping on the streets" this attitude towards the homeless or less fortunate is abhorrent. Makes me ashamed to be human x
Mend, it's not the homeless, it's the bums who make it miserable for everyone. I've no sympathy at all for them. And I've been out three times in my life, the last time at 60 years old. There's help for those who want it. Cops like the one you ran into are not the norm. He was a shit & unworthy of his shield, may he rot! I always looked for resources, stayed clean, & behaved civilly, even though my clothes were are bit ragged & patched. I can't tell you how many times I've had cold baths. Try washing w/ snow! Nope, I have no sympathy for the bums. You obviously never were one of them. BTW, why didn't you join the military, if I may ask?
MendMyWings 7 I'm with you on that I was homeless too its not nice people look down at you harass you judge you and some times be violent today's you I sleeped in carparks I felt a bit safer there
Stravo Lukos no, there isn’t help if you want it. He’ll no. Shelters keep you homeless it’s in their interest not to help because then they’d be out of work. Churches only care if you follow what THEY believe in. If not they don’t care whether you live or die. I was even homeless through an entire pregnancy that happened from a rape and not one place I wet for help did a thing. I couldn’t work because it was a high risk pregnancy and all my skills were for physical jobs, yet they let me stay out there sleep in alleys and abandoned places just fine though! They never helped. They don’t help. If they did there’d be very few left homeless at all.
A Kayfabe I'm sorry you went through that because I understand. People are so quick to judge without knowing the story behind it. I had three brain surgeries, not able to work or drive with children. I was too young for Social Security and didn't work long enough. I realized who my family and friends were because I helped them when they needed me. I became stronger from it.
"They" aren't., Maria. The bums are doing "this" to themselves. Harassing the public, stalking students, screaming at all hours, refusing to accept help because there are rules in place-- I've no sympathy at all for the swine. And I've been on the streets, sick, broke, & old. Stop being so naive.
I have no real problem with most of these. People have forgotten how to respect public places. I have just as much right to use a public space as the next person. No one's rights do not preclude the rights of another. I DO believe, if you're going to spend money to drive away the homeless, you should at least put some effort into solving the problem of homelessness. The States saw an increase in homelessness after Reagan closed the State mental hospitals. And there needs to be more available affordable housing. But that's a whole other conversation. I also think forcing people to spend more money, on top of the exorbitant cost of flying, is downright evil.
Frank D Agree. It is illegal in 33 cities to feed the homeless. Their governments need to deal with this issue rather than make it a living hell for the homeless. Yeah. Businesses are greedy motherfuckers.
It started in 1964, FD, long before Rotten Reagan came to power. It was a Democrat dream realized-- de-institutionalization. Mike Dukakis was one of the first to herald a new age in mental health non-care.
There's another thing about the pink light. There was a study on Baker Miller pink, (bubble gum pink) used in Juvenile Halls and jails. It was thought to perhaps throw the mind back to the womb or very young infancy. But they would paint a quiet room all pink, and when kids or adults were acting violently, they would be put in the room for time out and there were incidences where they would come out in tears and remorseful. Made them think about their behavior and feel regret. I printed out this study and gave it to the director of nursing for a locked teen facility I was working, suggested she paint one of their quiet rooms pink, and see if it helped. She ignored me.
that bench IS anti-homless. I was in Kansas for a couple years and then I moved back to my home state CA and was there for 8 months homeless and when I came back to kansas(not of my own choice) they've removed ALL benches in front of business, streets, ect. its stupid I guess its to prevent loitering or some shit
That first bench is *brilliant*!! If it is illegal to loiter or sleep in public then I don't see an issue with designs that discourage that. The blue light in public bathrooms to deter IV drug users makes sense to me. It may not be foolproof but if it impedes even one injection from occurring then it's worth doing. Some public bathrooms have an alarm that goes off if the person exceeds the time limit. How they come up with the amount of minutes to allow I don't know, but it's a thing!
I was homeless at one time also. My heart goes out to all of you who have suffered. The rich elite have stolen money from all of us. It's no small wonder, that humanity is broken.
Yeah, lack of sleep will help homeless people get their life in order.. & way better things have come out of San Fran than anti skate "pig's ears" wonder how much money is spent on those chunks of metal, not cheap investment; worth It? Really? talk about anti social behavior! Thanks , powers that be...
You're right, Figgy. As one of the homeless venturers myself, I think workcamps & organ harvesting are far better alternatives. It's bleeding hearts like you who keep the homeless homeless. Either they go to shelters, follow the rules, or go to jail & be triaged out to nuthouses & dry tanks. Then off to a labor camp.
Those pigs ears are cheaper than recasting the stonework after skate trucks dig in to them for a decade straight. And Stravo is right, you bleeding heart types think you're working in peoples best interest when you're just an enabler who would reward them for not trying. There are homeless shelters available and you have to be sober to use them. Get the needle out of their arms and the bottle out of their hands if you want to help. If you're sleeping on a damn bench, you clearly have no drive to get your own life in order.
Wouldn't it be smarter to help the homeless people by providing a place where they can rest, eat and get help to get back to the working field than trying to make it hard for them to sleep?
Great work, good video! Control through design is everywhere. Consider big stores that are laid out so you have to walk through the whole store to get out. That way you're more likely to buy more stuff. When retinal scanning technology was developed marketing companies discovered which shelves were looked at the most. Now, those shelves are stocked according to their marketing strategy. Advertising is shockingly good at manipulation as we already know. Imagine an advertising agency meeting with a marketing company and the business they represent. Together they are so effective in mass manipulation that they create trends. Governments do the same to rally for war or elections. This is nothing new, but why take it out on the homeless? Someone needing a place to sleep must be a greater problem than having someone sleep on your doorstep. Shame politician, lest some ill befall thee, and you too should end up looking for a bench with no spikes to sleep on!

Please don't camp in the disabled toilets. People actually need to use those specific ones.
You are blessed and fortunate to live in such a lovely place that does not need these people-manipulating contraptions. I've never been to Europe but currently live near Houston and have seen most of these things in other large US cities as well.
Here's a novel and revolutionary idea to combat homelessness: drop the price of housing to a point where people can afford it. The majority of homeless, are people who were unable to afford their homes - the same house that was very affordable a few years ago, now beyond affording because of increased government-sanctioned theft - I meant to say, housing taxes. And of course, rent that is also beyond affordability for many working class people. Instead of banning the homeless or putting them in shelters (a good way to make sure the .gov can keep close control on all), rather drop the greed and government-sanctioned theft.
".. This is a great video : I got to say honestly I love being manipulated. Kudos to big business and government. My favorite is the slab bench great design. "
_Chainz _ just resourceful, findings indicate that long term drug addiction coincides with increased problem solving and critical thinking, and for a reason.
This isn't the gov't doing this, but instead the franchise owners-Wendy's, McDonalds, BK, etc. ALL their signs are yellow and red. Why? We eat with our eyes and those colors are VERY bright! Thought that was interesting. The whole airport thing..#2. It's bad enough they double the prices on EVERYTHING in airports, but then FORCE you to have to "pay" to sit down. Me, I'll sit on the dirty floor before paying ANYONE to sit somewhere...that's just me.
@@Lakk6Metal Here is a list of ways that could go wrong. 1. They could steel something 2. They could KILL you 3. They could keep you hostage 4. They could rape you, and that can lead to all types diseases 5. They could burn your place down on accident or on purpose It depends on what kind of person they are. What I am saying is don't let some random person into your home.
I am a bigger threat to them than they are to me . Im all dead inside, i have no feelings, and what ever i do to a person doesnt affect me. I have been dead 2 times, well fuck if i die. In the UK in the city of Sheffield for reasons never disclosed to the public the city council slowly reduced the number of public toilets until it finally closed them all. Well there are a few left but well away fromthe city centre. There is speculation that the £40 or more penalty notices people can be served by the police for public urination more than pays for the council's own annual entertainment bill.
Its unfortunate that it's cheaper for the government to make it hard for the homeless than it is to build something worth while. I'm not 1 for seeing them everywhere but they do need somewhere. They should build a hospital size building with apt rooms in them and the homeless can live there as long as they work around it, cooking, housekeeping, landscaping.. everything and they have to keep themselves up too
Sorry to say but I actually think the anti-homeless benches are a good idea. Here in the UK there are many charities and organisations that will help the genuinely needy. The ones remaining on the streets are simply begging for money to get drugs and/or alcohol & have no intention of seeking help.
1701spacecadet there are a lot of homeless people in cardiff at the moment and though there are a lot that are genuinely homeless and trying to get on thier feet. There are some that just stay on the streets to beg for money as they find it easier than actually working for it. There were 2 men on tge streets begging and they apparently both had flats !!!
Pretty obvious, grinding with a skateboard creates friction which can damage edges and surfaces. If you want your railing or benches to last then you wouldn't really appreciate someone doing tricks on them.
A lot of shops/supermarkets in UK have devices that give a very high pitched noise that only young people can hear to prevent them loitering around in gangs at night. Genius! Just Need one for my bedroom now to keep the kids out 😄
norma, it doesn't matter. Bums, addicts, crazies don't care. They don't want to follow rules. They'd rather mess places up & make life miserable for others. I've been homeless. I can't stand bums! Cities can shoot them for all I care. Give them a choice-- shelters or work camps.
I think you have a brilliant idea. If they had somewhere to sleep, they wouldn't loiter and would feel safer.. I think the blue fluorescent lights would be a must!!
I love that someone created a video called "5 Sneaky Ways Cities Control Our Behavior" and then several days later you create a video outdoing them called "10 ways..."
That's so mean! Leave the homeless Alone! They can't help being homeless. They don't have many places to go. I wish the world was a better place to live in but that's just a dream.😢
I think that the anti-homeless measures are very cruel. People say that homelessness is a problem. The people that it's a biggest problem for are people who are homeless. Councils should be providing more one-bedroom flats to house people who are homeless, and should be providing rehab centres where people can safely detox from alcohol and drugs if that is a problem for them. But most people who are homeless nowadays are not addicts or alcoholics. A lot of people lost their careers and their homes during the economic recession, and many families are now homeless. The way that homeless people are treated is scandalous.Remember people, any one of us is just three missed mortgage payments away from homelessness.
Here's an example: In Tilburg (Netherlands) and probably more places they put traffic signs saying it's forbidden to stop at roads that lead out of town. But... at places where it's absilutely dangerous to stop, those signs are nowhere to be seen. Such signs should be used for safety, but they are abused to make the town unpopulat for hitchhikers.
Ever notice how the checkout area is usually so close to the exit of a store? Or that some stores have specific enter/ exit locations? with doors that only open in one direction? So you can't exit through the entrance? It is not done merely for convenience, it adds the opportunity to make you feel 'guilty' and 'judged' by people waiting in line, if you leave a store without purchasing anything. It also presents you with the opportunity for impulse buys on your way out.
I don't think their doing it to control people but rather deter people from screwing up public property and committing crimes but that's just my opinion
It's fine if you get some information from other youtubers, everyone does that, but please if you're going to do it, don't use the same pictures and say the exact same thing they did. Isn't that plagiarism?
1 day it will all be washed away and il be smiling as i draw my final breath , i quote " i want something good to die for , to make it beautiful to live.
I actually like he idea of using black lights in bathrooms to stop junkies from shooting up,I live in a town full of them and I go insane every time I walk by a used needle in the park or the grocery store or anywhere else you wouldn’t expect to see one.
Fortunately, although in the USA its a rather fine line, Monsanto and other Mega-Corporations aren't "the government" anywhere... yet, lol - and this is a video about how governments deliberately influence people's people;s behavior.
The blue light to prevent people from injecting drugs sounds like a pretty good idea. The anti-homeless devices strike me as just plain laziness on the part of the cities. You won't prevent or even reduce homelessness that way. You'll simply shift it somewhere else. The solution? I have no clue; I'm not a social engineer, but I do know that shifting it somewhere else isn't the solution.
Casinos are carpeted in crazy colorful patterns and lots of neon lights plus no windows so you lose track of time as you lose your money. Everything in a casino is designed to make you spend.
strangepecos04 yeah and I don't understand why people are so fucking stupid to go and waste money on gambling...
The chance for a big payout, im good with blackjack but slots bankrupt me
Their carpets have incredibly deep and soft padding, too, which makes it easy to stand at slot machines for hours. If you ever have to go through a casino in a wheelchair, just avoid the carpeted areas because it's nearly impossible to wheel yourself over that thick padding.
are you a wheelie? its rare for bipeds to notice how we are not considered in design. Good on you
I used to work at a casino and they have brightly colored carpets because it's easier for surveillance to spot bank notes on the ground due to contrast.
That bench actually seems like a good idea.

Look at labels saying "New!" and that - yellow everywhere lol

why not help the homeless instead of wasting money on benches and floor spikes

Bill Page Here in the U.S. it goes for $600 toilet seats , $80 hammers, $3,000 coffee makers, etc.

Sabotage Sabian like seriously tho, would it really be that hard to either give the homeless a home or leave them the fuck alone?
There are plenty of shelters & missions, Sabo. And if the homeless are civil about it, they'll probably find lots of folks willing to help them up out of their misery. Experience talking here.
NO they dont want money they want their lives to be misrable
well , you probably got a house, let them sleep there .
Or they don't have a family
Life.
One more on the airport too: ONLY warm water runs after security checks, so you want to buy overpriced water on site.

How would you keep from sliding off the slanted surfaces? Defeat the lumps bumps and spikes on other surfaces? Sleep or just lie down on benches with"arm rests?"
Two words John, My Pillow

You buy into the war on terror narrative while your rights are taken away infront of your eyes,
We don't need cctv, we need people to chill out and we need the mainstream media to stfu with the terrorism narrative.

Excuse me why they want homeless to not sleep?!
They can sleep just fine, in a bed, under a roof, in a homeless shelter where they have to be sober and actively look for work. So... why don't the homeless want to sleep in a relatively warm bed?
@@Cretaal dumbass
We Yanks still have compassion for the homeless. We try to make it better for them by providing safe places to live. We have restaurants in town that feed them and food bank service. We have cameras but not as much as in London.
Wow. What an exageratory fairy tale you tell....
any company that would design benches like that is pure evil...this world is so doomed
i agree with the first bit but.. *eh* the second bit is just a bit, over exaggerated
Savant I WONDERED WHY THE LAST TIME I VISITED A MALL I COULD HEAR THAT WHINE AND MY PARENTS COULDNT
Savant what's the point of placebo buttons ?
coasteys coasteys Less dicks.
MendMyWings 7
Agreed. These actions make me angry.
Why don't we deal with homelessness and then we won't need to design benches that stop folks from sleeping on them.
So homeless people, should be housed, I think that would help solve them having to sleep on park benches or doorways . It’s simples government .
How many people are willing to pay higher taxes to make this happen? We all SHOULD BE willing to do that, but how many people are?
WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS TO HOMELESS PEOPLE!?!?
"They" aren't., Maria. The bums are doing "this" to themselves. Harassing the public, stalking students, screaming at all hours, refusing to accept help because there are rules in place-- I've no sympathy at all for the swine. And I've been on the streets, sick, broke, & old. Stop being so naive.
Well , you can always let them stay in Your house .
@Jimmy Lewis He is also NOT WRONG
Stravo Lukos then what else would they do just sit there and rot it’s not their fault if you are homeless
i think they might do this because they block peoples path.maybe. i really don't know he didn't explain in the video
Why stopping homeless from using a space to sleep?
AngelaMerici12 Cos some people who aren't homeless and make laws have very little - if any - empathy... 😢😟💔
AngelaMerici12, Because governments want their cities to be nice and not be like San Francisco.
Chicken Master72 But I don't think that's the way it should be done.
So they make hundreds of peoples lives harder just for an extra few bucks. Why am I not that surprised?
I FCKING HATE THE GOVERNMENT
Kiss Kiss Hahaha hahahaha a time limit! IV users will be the least effected by this, people who like a good 45 minute shit LOOKOUT!!!!!!!

In holland we have an verry high beeper you can only hear when you are under 20 to stop teenagers from hanging around
That's a good one. I've heard of that as well, in shopping areas to deter younger patrons.
Wouldn't it be smarter to help the homeless people by providing a place where they can rest, eat and get help to get back to the working field than trying to make it hard for them to sleep?
Adam Bayer I know, right!
That bench is HIGHLY skateable!
Call the police! Rotten bums!
I live in Oklahoma, i've not seen 70% of these designs/ideas. Must mainly be European/big city stuff.

Mannnn, let go the homeless sleep
Why is everybody hating skateboaders so much? What's so evil about grinding?
Pretty obvious, grinding with a skateboard creates friction which can damage edges and surfaces. If you want your railing or benches to last then you wouldn't really appreciate someone doing tricks on them.
I think it makes more sense to invest in Skatepark instead of installing "Pigs ears" into walls
TheSnaveeel people would grind anyway
I agree.
LunaTheCat [Yoshalina] there ain't nothing wrong with a little bump and griihhiiinnd!!
A lot of shops/supermarkets in UK have devices that give a very high pitched noise that only young people can hear to prevent them loitering around in gangs at night. Genius! Just Need one for my bedroom now to keep the kids out 😄
I agree with all of these. If you were a company that had a lot of these issues, you would want these solutions.
Either you copied or you've been copied.
Eric Mathena He copied Nexus
I think it's just because they want to solve the problems but they should make homeless sleeping staitions
norma, it doesn't matter.
I think the blue fluorescent lights would be a must!!
lol designer here... never gotten a project to design like this, it sounds fun though
I love that someone created a video called "5 Sneaky Ways Cities Control Our Behavior" and then several days later you create a video outdoing them called "10 ways..."
That's so mean! Leave the homeless Alone! They can't help being homeless. They don't have many places to go. I wish the world was a better place to live in but that's just a dream.😢
skate stoppers were created in Vancouver, get it right.
google says it started in SAN DIEGO
Sope makeing benchs like that please
Anti sticker pole PFFFTTT solved
Just add a nail in a space an hang a canvas with a sticker or wanted or lost signs TRY BETTER GOVERNMENT
I think it's cruel to make it hard for the homeless to sleep. It breaks my heart how the homeless are treated
WHY DID YOU PUT THAT DAMN GLITCH SOUND IN?! ITS RUINING THE VIDEO!
The Poor Homeless They Need Somewhere To Sleep
Let them go to shelters!
well, let them sleep in Your house than .
If you really want them to have a place to sleep...
*GIVE THEM YOUR HOUSE XD*
The anti skateboarding things are so annoying. I skate and I've seen people just knock them off but mostly that are just a nuisance.
THE THINGS ARE THERE TO MAKE SURE YOU SKATE AT A SKATING PARK. AND ALSO MAYBE TO KEEP YOU FROM FALLING INTO THE ROAD.
Long Schlong which 1 did he copy?
Long Schlong How do you know he was not the first to do so?
What the hell is so bad about skateboarders?
Nothing, arctic. I like watching the talented ones perform at the skate park. It's the jerks who ruin it for everyone. They should be culled.
1 day it will all be washed away and il be smiling as i draw my final breath , i quote " i want something good to die for , to make it beautiful to live.
I actually like he idea of using black lights in bathrooms to stop junkies from shooting up,I live in a town full of them and I go insane every time I walk by a used needle in the park or the grocery store or anywhere else you wouldn’t expect to see one.
you forgot about monsanto.
Fortunately, although in the USA its a rather fine line, Monsanto and other Mega-Corporations aren't "the government" anywhere... yet, lol - and this is a video about how governments deliberately influence people's people;s behavior.

Brandon Denniston AMAZING
Notification Squad?!
SansyBoy yup
In school I stood on my bench and dabbed while teacher was not looking
The blue light to prevent people from injecting drugs sounds like a pretty good idea. The anti-homeless devices strike me as just plain laziness on the part of the cities. You won't prevent or even reduce homelessness that way. You'll simply shift it somewhere else. The solution? I have no clue; I'm not a social engineer, but I do know that shifting it somewhere else isn't the solution.
the anti homeless ones are mean, especially in the park. I did download the anti teen/kid app on my phone
We need more anti-bum types. Homelessness is not a crime. Bums should be forced into labor camps. There's a big difference. No mercy!
