You guys are more relatable than other football podcasts. And your Chemistry together is awesome. I will be Honest I did not like Ryan Fitzpatrick before I watched this podcasts. But he and Andrew come across so honest and not full of crap and not in it just for the sponsor money. Great Job guys!!
It's funny. The Buccaneers are just one game better than the Bengals, and the narrative is the Bengals organization is a joke, and the Buccaneers are just having a great year.
Gotta disagree Big Wit... MVP is an individual award... He can't help it that his defense sucks!? MVP is who is the most valuable to their teams and Joe Burrow and his numbers say that's him! And his line isn't keeping him clean either!! He gets hit every other time!! They're all deserving of that award this year!!
Baker is the perfect QB for this Buccaneers team. Hes the firey, vocal, passionate leader they need to replace Tom Brady. Baker is a player who isnt scared of anything, i mean he was a 2 time walk on to then become a Heisman trophy winner. The browns gave up on him after an injury plagued season and after he has surgery hes traded and then the panthers give up on him 12 weeks later, so then he joins the Rams and plays like 3 days after gettig signed plays a good game then blows out the Broncos who had a very good defense that year. He plays as well as you could have hoped for witb the Rams especially coming in 3/4th through the season. Im sure that gave him some confidence heading into the next chapter of his football life. He takes a prove it deal with the Bucs at 4mil for the one year and absolutely balls out setting career highs for yards and and TDs. This season hes looked even better and has played the best football of his NFL career.
How could any active qb be the "NFL's" best except Allen since Allen holds the lions share of active NFL records to include first qb to have five consecutive 40+ td seasons, most yards by qb in first 6 seasons and most td's (76) in first seven seasons? hmm?
@ you just made my point: people hyping Lamar this season for MVP are pimping his stats. Last season Allen blew him away on stats and doubled him up on total td’s, yet, Lamar got MVP. The point is they keep moving the goalposts on Allen, the most freakishly gifted qb of all time (I agree with Colin Cowherd). Cumulatively, since 2018 when both qb’s came into the league, Allen has broken more NFL records than any active qb in the last six seasons. This season, he has single-handedly willed an otherwise mediocre franchise to a two seed. Remember the Bills were supposed to regress. Allen thought otherwise. Allen owns the season highlight reel. He beat both conference leaders at the height of their seasons. He made the play of the year per Jim Nance, but no, now we’re talking about stats. Pick one. Ravens had 9 pro bowlers to Bills 2 and were supposed to say Lamar willed them to a division title? Hardly. Are you picking up what I’m putting down?
Dear Andrew, That Sean McVay decision in 2017 was wrong and was the reason the Rams lost the playoff game. The team was totally out of sync after getting blown out by a 6-10 49ers team. Fast forward to Detroit in 2023 played their starters in a game against the Vikings with nothing on the line and had two starters get injured in LaPorta and Raymond. The beat both the Rams and Bucs and go to the NFC championship game and playing that last game kept the team's focus and drive to win intact. The Rams relaxed and lost in 201y to a veteran team in the Falcons who were outmatched talent wise.
Josh Allen NEW NFL Records 2024 1. Allen is the Only quarterback to have five back-to-back seasons with 40 or more scores. 2. First player since NFL-AFL merger with three passing and three rushing touchdowns in a game (Dec. 8, 2024 at Los Angeles Rams). 3. First player in NFL history to record multiple career games of 340+ yards passing, 60+ yards rushing, 2+ passing touchdowns and 2+ rushing touchdowns. Allen has done it in back-to-back weeks, Dec. 15, 2024 at Detroit and Dec. 8, 2024 at Los Angeles Rams. Steve Young is the only other player to accomplish the stat line and he did it once in 1991. 4. First quarterback in league history to record a passing, rushing and receiving touchdown in a game (Dec. 1, 2024 vs. San Francisco). 5. First player in NFL history with at least two touchdown passes and two rushing touchdowns in consecutive games, and the first player all-time with three such games in a season. 6. Most total touchdowns in first seven seasons (258 and counting). Patrick Mahomes (231) is second and Peyton Manning and Dan Marino are tied for third (225). 7. Fastest player in history to 250 total touchdowns (107 games, tied with Patrick Mahomes) 8. Most career games with at least two passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns. 9. Most career games with three passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown (9, shares the record with Tom Brady and Drew Brees). 10. Most career games with three or more passing touchdowns and two rushing 11. Most games in NFL history with at least 300 yards passing and 50 yards rushing (11). 12. First player in league history with 35 or more passing and rushing touchdowns in five straight seasons (2000-2024). 13. Only quarterback in NFL history with multiple streaks of five-plus games with a rushing touchdown. 14. First player record at least 25 passing touchdowns and at least 10 rushing touchdowns in consecutive seasons. Kyler Murray and Cam Newton are the only others to accomplish the feat in one season. 15. Most career games with two passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown (24). 16. Bills now have 13 players with a touchdown this season - tied for the most all-time in NFL history. 2024 Team records 1. The quarterback tied Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas for the most career rushing touchdowns (65) in Buffalo Bills history. 2. New franchise record with 30+ points scored in 12 games during the 2024 NFL season. 3. The Bills scored 63 touchdowns this season - the most in team history. 4. Bills have 30 rushing touchdowns and have set the franchise record for most rushing touchdowns in a single season (29 in 2016). 5. The Bills have now scored 509 points this s
These are meaningless records. If Josh Allen is having a season were he is not top 5 in all passing categories except QBR then it's all fodder. You literally have to add other years to boast your arguement. Whereas I can say, Lamar is about to break the ALL time season passer rating in the history of the NFL history which is a standalone record based on what you have done for the year. Head to head, Lamar beat Josh so bad that he was benched in the fourth quarter. Lamar's record against playoff bound teams is 7 - 3 while Josh is at 3 - 3 meaning Josh has had an easier schedule. If you put their season stats side by side it's clearly obvious that Lamar is better than Josh. People who want to mention last year's stats forget Josh had 15 interceptions and Lamar was the no. 1 seed in the AFC and also had the best overall record in the NFL. This year Josh is not even the number one seed and Lamar just won his division same as Josh. Lamar also beat all the other MVP candidates in the year and Josh played in the wild card round like he always does. All the pundits who want Josh to win are openly admitting that Lamar is better but he has 2 MVPs so Josh deserves a sympathy MVP. Watch all the sports pundits, no one is bring up your meaningless records because they don't matter and no one will remember them. I'm not even mentioning the all time records Lamar broke including the QB rushing record because they are cumulative records not single season records which should be considered for MVP. What you did last year has nothing to do with what you are doing this year, and the numbers this year say Lamar is better than Josh. Could you believe it if someone told you that this year Lamar is a better passer than Josh by all measures and standards. They are now talking about coMVPs because they know Lamar is the MVP but they want to give it to Allen.
Whitt I’m right there with you on celebrating a TD when they are down by 30. It used to drive me nuts when Chad Johnson would do that when they were losing big time with no chance to win. I’m a huge bengals fan and I’m not liking Joe B being cocky now when he scores a TD. Like pointing towards his arm to say he has ice in his veins. Just go celebrate with Tee or whoever he throws a TD to. He used to be so humble. WHO Dey
Just stop. Burrow is def not being cocky. He’s the best freaking qb in the league. End of story. You’re def not a bengals fan. No bengals fan even acts like burrow is being cocky let alone saying it. Derpy derp
The fact that Mahomes’ not even in the MVP convo is insane to me. Guess the league & these MVP voters LOVE an underdog story…greatness is not celebrated. Mahomes lost #1 & 2 receivers (Hollywood & Rashee) early in season, lost his RB1 for most of season, left tackle situation almost got him decapitated, Kelce double teamed = low production, oh let’s not forget his 2 bummed ankles, playing 3 games in 10 days & he still clinched the #1 seed early. IMHO that’s the definition of MVP #just sayin
No QB in the NFL makes it look like the game has slowed down for him with special teamers and rookies as his main weapons than Josh Allen. Joe Burrow has literally TWO number one receivers. Don’t get me wrong, I know Burrow is elite but Josh Allen has no elite talent as his weapons and also a subpar defense. He’s resting week 18. (Yes I know he’s “starting” to keep his streak going)
Shakir, Cook, Kincaid, Knox ? Really? I didnt even mentioned Coleman and Cooper in that list. Mahomes is better than Josh Allen any given day or night..
You’re a clown. Look at Allen’s time of release. It’s between 2.5 sec to 3.2. Burrows is under 2 sec. Wanna know why? Their offensive line. Duh duh duh. Tell us you know shit about football without telling us scrub
Justin Herbert is better. Can you Imagine if Justin Herbert had Jamar Chase and Higgins!!??? I mean damn!! HEY RYAN FITZPATRICK !! Lets see your white board on how Herbert cannot elevate his team hahahaha!!!
Imagine if burrow had that front line. Worlds better than what they have. Hobo ain’t even close to burrow. He might be almost as good as crybaby Jackson which ain’t saying much, but he’s not even close to burrow or Allen. Stfu
The most eloquent NFL podcast, especially considering that both are former players.
The o-line committee is awesome too
Loving the insight and convos you guys have!!
Love that blue hoodie on Whit!
Damn, great insight on KOC. Really could visualize the moment. My first watch, definitely a regular now. Great, great insight
You might have to ask Rich Eisen about “fortyburger”. He’s been saying that for years, since he, Mooch, and Prime were on NFL Game Day Final.
Panthers fan here and yah I don't mind us moving on from darnold but I am a huge baker fan and it hurts to know we never gave him a chance.
As a person who needs handicap parking, THANK YOU BOTH!
Love these guys!!
Go Rams!!!
It's funny. The Buccaneers are just one game better than the Bengals, and the narrative is the Bengals organization is a joke, and the Buccaneers are just having a great year.
why are there so many dislikes on this video? am i missing something?
I don't know Whit, I wish screen time was Fitz heavier.
Gotta disagree Big Wit... MVP is an individual award... He can't help it that his defense sucks!? MVP is who is the most valuable to their teams and Joe Burrow and his numbers say that's him! Grown man podcast...y'all cooking

Baker Mayfield putting up Andrew Luck numbers. The Browns organization must be sick, like the Giants watching Saquon Barkley!

Cool story. How many rings does he have? 😂😂
@ Your rhetorical skills are exceeded only by your comic skills
What do career cumulative stats have to do with the current season MVP?
MVP is burrow.
@ you just made my point: people hyping Lamar this season for MVP are pimping his stats. Last season Allen blew him away on stats and doubled him up on total td’s, yet, Lamar got MVP. Love Fitz throwing in Josh Allen when Whit is not naming in the great QB’s ….
C'mon Whit, Burrow's playing for the Bengals, you know better than anybody that means he's playing on expert 😂
Thing is, when whit was there, the bengals had a good oline, good defense and good weapons. It was Andy that was the limiting factor
Whit hates bro, Then 30 seconds later says bro. Hahaha

Damn this video has 508 dislikes for some reason.
1.2k now?? am i missing something?
Baker MVP?
I can tell you when to take timeouts for only $250k a year. I'm a steal basically. Hire me
So, what are your #1 MVP choices (each of you)?
Josh Allen

Just missing a championship to the resume.

With all that accomplished he still can't get out of the first round
BUH RYAN , INCONSISTENCY WAS PRETTY MUCH YOUR CLAIM TO FAME SO.....
Haha to be fair he was never a franchise QB. He had a hell of a career for a dude who came in as a backup
Burrow is on a hot streak but NFLS best? I think rings determine that and no one currently has more jewelry on their fingers than Mahomes.
