I cut my teeth as a Bills’ fan during those 2-14 seasons. My much older brother, whose default setting has always been grumpy, had seasons tickets back then and none of his friends ever wanted to go- cue bringing me, his 12 year old sister. He barely tolerated me on a good day, so I had to figure my own shit out and not complain. Fell down the muddy icy hill on the way to the game and now have to sit on cold aluminum for three hours? Too bad. Should have dressed better. Cold? Too bad. Should have dressed better. Hungry? Too bad. There’s food at home. Don't understand what’s happening on the field? Too bad. Learn. Also? You should have dressed better. There will be no leaving early, no matter what. I had to learn the game and fight for survival every week. Alone. My brother did not give one shit and I always counted myself lucky when he’d remember to bring me home. And that’s where it STARTED for me, and I still chose it. It’s the same story for almost every single one of us. I’m not unique. Fast forward to now, I’m an Army spouse of over 20 years. You want to know where we live now? Kansas f’ing City. It’s brutal. (Great people though, can’t lie) So, your buddy Nate isn’t OUT, but he’s gotta understand the obligations here and the length of commitment. This isn’t a fad, man! 😂 GO BILLS
Fitzy! Huge fan. You were a great QB. My son and I met you at a Bills practice only weeks before you started for Buffalo, and my son said to you, "You should be the starter!" And you were really humble and nice as could be to my son. Anyhoo, yeah, this is the greatest game of the year Sunday between the Bills and Ravens and you as The Legend of the Game Sunday is going to bring us some FITZMAGIC! Ravens can be scary, but so can we. Do not count the Bills out, and it will be a close battle. Have a great 2025 Fitz, and you too Whit. Great podcast.😊
Bills are a healthy team now compared to the week 4 game. And I feel for Sam. Sad to see how everyone just did a 180 on him and will ignore the great season he had and focus on the last two games. It’s like being wanted to watch him fail and were happy when he did lol.
Yea that's what happens when you come up in a big market and have eyes all around you. They follow you everywhere you go and they wait for that failure to bring the past back and turn it right back on him. He played some amazing football this season they should be happy but it's the nfl it won't stop unless he wins a championship just like josh lamar joe all them they will always have that asterisk that will be brought up.
The Steelers were the #4 defense against the run and they sold out to stop the run and Baltimore was super obvious with run formations and they ran for 299 yards. So stopping the run against the Ravens is unfortunately not an option. And who’s tryin to tackle Derrick Henry when it’s 9 degrees outside lol
It comes down to can the Bills D hold up, undersized lineman and a back end that are not the best tacklers as well as Fitz and Tate getting an exorcism.
The thing about the Chargers ... Jim Harbaugh added SIX victories this season compared with 2023. So, the vibe is moving in the right direction -- definitely. They'll be even better next season. So will the Broncos be under Sean Payton. Bo Nix will be better. And if Tom Brady nails the right GM and HC with the Raiders, the whole division could be fun this fall.
