I think that the message in the ending where the father see THE "Eyes," is just him going to heaven. A thing that drives me to this belief is because in the outro art we see the father trying to make it to heaven with the demon aka moloch trying hold him down. This makes me think the father is trying to do good lead others into the path of redemption to make it into heaven. But, the obstacles (obviously Moloch & SnP ) held him back, but in the end he still made it but not in the best way.
That would make him a spirit though, and there are multiple things that says he isn’t a spirit. Also he’s a priest man, he would already be in heaven regardless. Unless… 🤔
@@raglandj1 I edited my comment a bit to give more clarification but what I meant is that the father going through the door and meeting eyes is just him going to heaven after dying from being bonked in the head with a brick. And, also the cult may be related to the afterlife. As we see them while the father is going up into the doors of heaven.

I think it is him trying to escape one hell and only going to another, rather than that being what his heaven really is. It may not be related to demons but eldritch beings that work on different levels than demons.

Aye bro, you aren’t wrong. There is a theory that the spider in the attic, the father (of skid), the cult, and the Eldridge monster are all connected. If you didn’t see it, there have been brief images of that very same large spider. And whenever the spider is there. The mannequin covered in cobwebs always moves. From scooting closer to moloch, to mysteriously falling on the doll or moving in front of the killer. Lastly the dad and the connection to the cult. There is an old cult robe in the attic, and every picture of the dad we can see a hand with a green ring on it. In the cult mansion, there is a picture of a man with the face cut out but with the very same ring. Also the “Eyes” is connected to the spider because 1, same color eyes. 2, both have spider legs. 3, have an interest in watching people. Another detail to point out is that in the picture of skid and his dad, there looks like a spider leg that stops where the rip in the picture starts. So really you may not be wrong…
When I started watch this I started to smile so much 😹
The thieves seem to be looking for something that Skid's dad had, as the man used to be a major part of the cult.
