Because you aren't following, the guy sharpening his knife in the beginning, the guy on the newspaper, the fat guy in the demon costume (not the skinny guy), and the Boys and Grills worker are all the same guy. His name is Robert (Bob) Velseb, he is a cannibalistic serial killer with a major sweet tooth (such a sweet tooth that the only thing he eats other than people is candy) and his favorite people to kill and eat are kids but he isn't opposed to adults. Because he worked at the Boys and grills butchery he would put human meat into the supply and sere it to customers.
