My new AirPods 4 with ANC fit perfectly in my ears, and the noise cancellation is exceptional. Unlike silicone tips, which are uncomfortable and don't work well for me, these don’t create the pressure that causes headaches or the suffocating feeling of something being shoved into my ear.
Actually bought these, they address every issue with AirPods 3: way more bass, ANC is goated and you can hear music perfectly in a gym, perfect fit (many ppl including myself complained about AirPods 3 fit vs AirPods 1/2). Thanks for the data. So the ANC only works if the seal is solid. If the seal is solid you hear less of the world around you & have less of an "open back" feeling. I like having both the Air Pods 3 and APP2's cause one is open so has no occlusion effect but use the APP2's for when I need ANC.
I own the Pro 2’s but prefer unsealed earbuds in a crowd or at the grocery store so I bought the AP4 with ANC. These are the first unsealed earbuds that fit in my ears snug and don’t need constant adjustments. I was surprised these have good bass, they get loud, and the ANC actually works in certain situations. I tested the Spatial Audio with movies and it sounded really good. If the goal is to listen to music whole day in loud settings buy over ear headphones.
