The feminist paradoxon: Although you as a woman in the Western world live life on ultra easy mode, you still always feel being oppressed.
Feminism endures because of male conservatives tolerate or endorse misogynists in their ranks.
This is why many conservative women thought the Barbie movie had a point.
Are we going to act like Roe vs Wade wasn’t just overturned?
Love the film and themes it explored but all the issues expressed in this particular scene are gender neutral... I'm by no means saying that women don't feel these pressures, just that they aren't exclusive to women.
For the most part these are also pressures that we put on ourselves through fear of judgement.
