The song‘s chinese name is 煙花易冷（ yan hua yi leng） means “Fireworks turn cool easily”. The writer was Jay Chou. Jay also won the golden song at the Beijing Pop Music Awards 2010. The song was telling a sad story.

I prefer Zhou Shen to Dimash (both are beyond amazing, I never heard anyone as good as they are) because Zhou can sing a perfect song without overdoing every song or cover. Dimash adds too much nonsense sometimes. Let a beautiful song be a beautiful song. With that said, Dimash is alien-amazing just like Zhou Shen. Dimash has a lot of time to master his singing and covers. Both of them are so young.
All singing skills are just tools for presenting song content. If you don't know the meaning of the lyrics, then you can only appreciate his singing skills in a simple way, but you can't appreciate the beauty of the Chinese-style artistic conception contained in the lyrics.

Please do the Lonely goat herder from the sound of music. ShenShen also sang that one with 4 different voices. ShenShen have been singing since he was 18 in 2010. He had sung around 800 songs as internet idol. Since no one had accepted his voice, so he sang in the internet with the nickname Kabulde. He sung many style and many type. That earned him a little fame. Only after his first debut in 2014, more people started to noticed him and some more open mined accepted him and helped him. Until the song Big Fish, which got him the real fame. Either way we have to thanks his friend who pushed him forward to his first debut and those died hard loyal fans who give him the courage. Else this treasure definitely will be buried in some corner.

The original song had a rap verse, maybe that’s why you were expecting it to switch up. It’s at the part where he started whistling with his voice.
