Absolutely Bitchin' , there's something about the sound of Yam 350 Twin, it doesn't matter if it's a TZ, RZ, RD or Banshee ,they just have a sound un to their own. Great vid.
@@Team-fabulous Sam McClements was a proper legend, I remember seeing him at Killalane in 88 on a stone stock RC30, honking the horn and using the blinkers during the Grand Final, it was gas to watch. A year later he was gone :(
@@JohnnyQuidVMX3 yes his friend Charlie Smilely rode it down as Sam's other bikes (Sue Ellen and the 1100) were sick... Sam was a very special man. Thanks for the nice comments... 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
No tick over screws on those carbs (Probably 38mm Mikunis) so it is also easier to keep blipping the throttle rather than trying to hold it a fraction open. I ran a TZ350 in an F2 sidecar for a while, a great engine but it would consume clutch plates, pistons, piston rings and cranks at quite a rate!)
I had one in the 1970’s. Worst bloody commuter bike I ever owned. Nowhere to mount a top box and lousy fuel consumption. Yamaha should be ashamed of themselves!
The bike hadn't been run in over 8 years. I stripped the engine and the smoke you are seeing is a result of oiling the engine parts before rebuild to prevent a dry start. If you know anything about building engines you would know this is a standard procedure. I'm a two times Irish 350 road race champion so I think I have enough knowledge but thank you for your remarks.

Good man... The TZ is the most successful racing bike ever made... FLARE YOUR NOSTRILS 😂😂😂😂

Ahhh when you revved at light for reason not showing off or pissing folks off but keeping plugs from fouling, ahhhh those were the days of real bikes

Bellissima moto!
Mi ha fatto venire la pelle d'oca, come vorrei essere lì per annusare la miscela a due tempi.

Two strokes rock..
Think I saw him racing in Mondello Park
Muller not sure if he raced at Mondello, he was a pure roads man but did the very rare short circuit...
Maybe it was at Skerries 100. Memory's not so good these days.
Muller yes he was much loved at Skerries plus like you my memory isn't that good lololol
