Your videos are getting better and better. I mean your previous videos were already valuable and cool, but now you're going in high level depth and quality... Always a pleasure to watch your content!
The Trident also allows you to stack the low pass and high pass filters. You can select more than one frequency at a time and it behaves a little differently.
Yes, Softube version of the Trident has a saturation knob, but I have use this EQ just a little. Have to use it more to see what I can do with it. There is one EQ from PSP that I like to use now and then and is the PSP E27. Check it when you can. Thanks for all the info.
Thanks for the tour! I worked on a Harrison desk years ago : awesome sounding board - though it didn't like dust at all, lol! Worked on a Trident too. Good sound but it wasn't very reliable : we had to replace channel units way too often. Would be nice to have more "trustable" plugins (ha ha) that emulate the beast. And I really got to try that Clariphonic... ;-)
Hey mate. Great video once again! I'm in love with the Sly-Fi Axis at the moment. One question though, do you know if the lowest filter is a shell or a bell? And is the highest one a shelf or a bell? Keep up the good work. Thanks!
Chaddonal I LOOOVE the Hoser XT!!! I’m a huge fan. You can certainly throw that in the list. Matter of fact these days I’d ditch the Dangerous Bax for that all day long. GREAT CALL 🙌🏼👊🏼😎
@@MixBetterNowTV You mention the Hoser replacing the D-Bax. Do you mean on your Top 10 list? I love what the D-Bax does for HPF/LPF, which Hoser doesn't include. But have you tried Boz's TBone? Hoser XT plus TBone make an amazing combo. Also I use TBone for tracks when I'm changing pitch. So many options (tilt, resonant filter adjustments, de-harsh, etc.) to reduce anamolies.
Chaddonal Just meant I love it in general for boosting and cutting. Can def have a place in the top 10. It’s really up to you though. Whatever floats your boat, use it! 👊🏼😎
There is a "BaxterEQ" which is free. Seems to behave similar to the one in the video, sounds not bad. Don't know its reputation among pro's... just saying..
Man I hope everything is good with you. I have learned so much in this channel that I simply cant find the words to thank you enough!!
