Did you end up replacing your timing chains or tensioner also cam gears? I'm in the process of rebuilding my WRX 2015 also I've got it shipped down it's been a bearing but didn't really wreck anything I was in blockwise but I'm going to run a size bigger piston so I'm going to have it bored out 88 MM stock these are 88.10mm it's really my numbers could be off they're the manly forged One step above factory. Also did you replace your valves or springs anything I got on your head or did you use all that I'm going to dilemma rather I should put new valves and springs in it or just clean them I'm pretty nervous about the whole build actually because there's not a lot of information on the fa dits any info you could throw my way would be great I may have over done it but my builds pretty expensive but I went for more power down the road having the turbo done it so Cal V3 I'm probably invested right now 8 Grand and parts too much to list here. I guess just any advice maybe that you figured out I found out would be great getting ready to send my walk off to have it home and bored and just waiting for parts to come in and then the build will be in also I have to order a couple other parts and then decide on like valve springs and that
So this video still has a stock motor in it that was dropped in by josh Bader that I purchased off of eBay. I am also working on building a. Motor myself. Realistically I am shooting for 650whp . Using as much of what I can off my Motor as I am still trying to determine what caused my low compression issues in the first place. But I will basically be doing the same as you. Boring the block up a bit and forging up all internals. As for the heads, I do think I will rebuild them for sure with new parts. But not sure if I’m going to +1mm or not for extra flow. I need to find a tuner to work with that is easy enough to talk to and get responses from to ask the questions. Lol. I to will be doing a socal v3 (or 4) soon on my current set up (FBO) and inning e60 blend at that time too. Fun cars for sure. Pricy but it is what it is.
@@T.Hansen just a heads up I just dropped 5k+ to add port injection on my 2018. Currently waiting on ibuildracecars to ship out the order for the secondary injection controller.
@@T.Hansen I'm just saying this yeah I'm having the same problem finding a tuner I've got literally probably $12,000 at least a parts sitting in my garage That's not including what's in my car and more still coming but there is so many questions and known to answer them I feel like and people don't understand you just can't go to any tuner for this especially when you're putting that much money into a motor like I'll probably cry if it was to blow up because I mess something up. Already have the V3 done it's on its way back I should have it anytime
I need to get well I'm going to get a dash cam and rare dash cam cuz my videos are hard to do with the no dash cam about like a little cell phone extra amount so I could record and hide it if but yeah Dash can work at where exactly is this in Colorado I've definitely been down this Valley I already want to call many times I have friends that live in Steamboat
