I feel pretty sure that "crowding the calendar" could be freed up if trump did NOTHING ELSE besides: attending trials, conferring with defense attorneys, sleeping, eating, and traveling - by private jet - to the various trial sites. Just sayin'. I was wondering if I went about committing crimes from coast-to-coast and was indicted if I could "get away with" working those dates around my PERSONAL calendar? Nah...didn't think so. We all know this OLD white guy is actually RETIRED and living at a golf course so he ought to be able to fit "justice" into his schedule. Just sayin'

Federal convictions are subjected to political over-rules. Fani's conviction cannot be over-ridden by political bias. The final results in Georgia stands supreme. And Fani has so far proven that she is capable of moving mountains and splitting oceans in laying her express highway for Trump's conviction. All those times he refused to commit to a peaceful transfer of power if he lost before the election, and the first claim of voter fraud @ 2.30 am on election night itself. It's sort of surprising that he hasn't murdered someone frankly. He had blood on his hands for the people who died on are as a result of Jan 6th.

We need to get rid of the Electoral College! Go to popular vote or ranked choice. Every vote should count. Not just swing states.
Even with a direct vote, there would still be swing states, causing even more problems than we have now. You could conceivably have 10 states: California, Texas, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, Virginia and North Carolina deciding the entire election as the vote count of these 10 equals more than half of the total US vote. So if you want to ensure some votes don't matter, that's the way to do it.

That's my feeling about the indictments being filed against diaper don. The more there are, the better the chance of one of them sticking. Charges so far have been well thought out and executed, but we all know diaper don gets away with everything by hook or crook. Maybe not, but on which one? Keep them coming!

No one individual can pardon trump for state crimes so her decision to move forward is spot on. GA has a State Board of Pardons. While likely to be Republicans, I'm not certain they would pardon these crimes against their citizens given all his crimes.
In order to accept a pardon, he would have to accept he is guilty of the crimes.

Closing off the streets around the Fulton Co. Courthouse on Monday, is just another indication that Willis will be announcing her Indictment next week (my guess is Tuesday the 8th). With a number of courtrooms already sidelined from use since the 1st, plus all those orange barricades placed around the Courthouse for a week now, and now closing down the streets, logic would dictate that you would make your announcement sooner rather than later.
Why have all those empty courtrooms sitting idle for two more weeks, or have those barricades sitting out in the street for another two weeks, or have the streets themselves closed down for two more weeks? Especially, if you've already stated that "you're ready to go"!
I don't disagree with your suggestion, but one reason why they would do that is so that the Trumplodytes won't have any certain knowledge of when it will happen and thus prevents them for congregating for a massive riot.
