Well Tom, you’ve done it again. Superb video full of astute commentary, lovely images and thoughtful reflections. A very calming and informative film and the shots of you taking refreshment crowned it all.
Your small talk at 21:00 captures the wisdom and essence of Zen, of slowing into the moment, appreciating what simply is, instead of rushing away or into another moment through desire or ignorance. Any conscious effort to slow down and raise awareness can achieve this illumination of the now. Consciously slowing down walking is my personal favourite. And indeed photography alerts us to the same, to simply be, to remain aware and appreciate our being and experiences. Thank you for sharing.
I think the official website is Otley Walkers are Welcome, however there isn't too much information about the walk. They do offer a book though, which provides information about accommodation and the route. www.wawotley.org.uk/six-dales-trail/

I think many of your photos share my growing interest in photographing man-made objects in the countryside.

I really enjoy watching this :) that mix of hiking and photography matches my interests 😁
My photography is more of a walk with a camera type so your video struck a chord with me. I love your commentary especially the humour.
Nice video (again) and for me as a Dutch guy easy to understand.
Lovely video! Now I want to come back to Yorkshire for that same walk. 😊
Great video. Really enjoyed it. Can’t see myself getting there for a few years but it is now on my need to walk list
Love the “abstract reflections” picture. If Monet had been a photographer…
I was thinking exactly the same 😁
Hi Tom, your video sparked my interest in doing the 6 Dales trail, is there a website with information about it.
thanks

I really want to be with you and capture some stunning landscapes like these.

Hi Tom. I enjoyed your video, but I have one question. Did you have to walk all the way back again after your lunch?
@@sherioreilly7546 thankfully not!
