MAGFest 2024: We Made 8 Albums and You Can Too: The Creative Album Production Process

The Game Brass have produced eight studio albums (and counting) in their short 5-year existence, and we've learned quite a bit about how to get it done efficiently without sacrificing quality. We'll guide the audience through our entire process from initial album planning to track selection; to arranging, recording, and mixing; and finally into the distribution of both digital and physical versions. This will address topics such as how to work with outside collaborators, checklists of things you'll need (such as album art), and a handful of other items that tend to slip through the cracks.
MAGFest is run by MAGFest, Inc., a volunteer-supported 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to furthering the appreciation of video games, video game culture, and video game music. We achieve this through numerous events, such as Super MAGFest, MAGWest, MAGStock, and Bit Gen Gamer Fest. We also support other not-for-profit organizations, such as Child’s Play.
