Missed you pretty hard man glad you are back! Best guitar teacher on the net, no nonsense no ego just raw teaching and guitar playing talent I love it!!
It is a very odd thing to be worried about someone that you don’t know - but I was… I poked around your channel (can’t read the Community tab from an iPad) and couldn’t find out if you’re alright or why you left… Today, you returned - and we are so grateful that you have. Keep well, dear one, and thank you for it all. -Louise New York
Wow, I never knew it was Glen Frey who actually played the solo. I would have sworn it was Don Felder. It is so tasteful and refrained and perfect for the song. Great choice and terrific lesson.
@@Sebastian-ri4re They faked it for the video. Glenn actually tracked the guitar and keyboards for the song, it would have been kind of bogus having him do both for the video. 😃
Love this solo and your lesson and performance really do it justice. Hope you are doing ok and feeling better - your lessons have been, and still are, an integral part of my guitar journey.
Great Lesson(s)! Finally a tutorial for people who already know how to play. I couls never understand why most lessons assume everyone is a beginner. No I dont need to know the picking pattern, I just need to know how to play the darn song! Genious!
You are my favorite on line guitar teacher by far. Didn't know you were down. Welcome back, and take care man. It's great when you precede the instruction with a complete demo of the lesson.
Finally! A tutorial where how to get the sound is explained! Thank you, soooo many times nobody tells how to get the right sound. And great video as well! 👍
This is amazing. I was watching my uncle play this and I wanted to surprise him and play it next time I see him… then you upload this as if by magic one month ago!! Thankyou
You are such a quality guitar player.. I envy you so much.. I have a friend who's voice is identical to yours and every time we talk you sir come to mind . Thank you for the lessons. I first heard this song as a 16 year old teen I believe the end of 79 or 80-- immediately I had to learn the solo...in those days I had to use a turn table and well you know the average story..after a million 'needle down ..needle up..needle back down'...I soon gave up !! Please stay safe...so glad I found your channel a few years ago !!!
A little late, but a sincere welcome back, may you feel much better, even tho I don't know why you were away, none of my business. Just know you were missed and like others say and know, you are indeed THE best teacher on this net. Always loved this solo, thank you so much for teaching us everything. Cheers from Nova Scotia.
Live this channel,,, the best guitar teacher on the youtube,,, love how little talking there is,,, most of the other ones talk way too much and go over the basics way too much,,, love just shut and play,,
It's nice to see more of The Eagles. I know they are the worst when it comes to copyright claims though. I still haven't been able to figure out how Bernie Leadon plays the way he does in Doolin Dalton/Desperado Reprise. Recommend a listen on that one.
Thanks ❤❤ I’m a beginner learning the guitar on my owe. I’m 64 always wanting to learn to play electric guitar 🎸 not easy but I’m doing the best I can on my owe thanks 😊
Henley was the Drummer in the band. If you mean Don Felder, he confirmed Frey played the solo on the original recording. Frey also played the Rhodes on the original recording, and he had to do it live probably because nobody else in the band could play the Rhodes part. So for live situations, Felder took the solo.
Love your lessons. I will finally donate and buy some merchandise. You’ve given me great lessons and a lot of joy learning about these songs and learning how to play them. It’s the least we can do is throw back some love your way. Glad you are back.
He likes ...pulls these songs that I've grown up on like this one, one of the eagles slower songs then this guy comes out of nowhere and lays this riff down and crippled me,besides the bass player is so shy to get him to sing this blows my mind 🎉
I watch this man everyday..I don't read music so I have to go by what my ears tell me, but watching him helps me a lot ,to me you would be my teacher ❤
Happy to see you back in the saddle. I've been immersed in your Peter Green BMW lesson. This was a nice choice for your return appearance. Great tune and tasteful arrangement. Wish you all the best.
WOW! So glad I found your channel. I have long thought of where can I possibly see a tutorial on how the solo guitar of this song is played and you showed it brilliantly. Thank you so much!❤

I love your playing. Have you ever considered transcribing the solo from Honeymoon Suite's song Bad Attitude?

Wow, the way you play the solo feels like some kind of a brain massage. So smooth, so crisp, so soul, so beautiful!!
I came here to learn how to play this, and I wound up listening to you play over and over and over. Thank you for your tutorials, they're wonderful!

Didn’t know you were down , glad you doing better. Always enjoy your lesson they are truly inspiring!
Wow, I never knew it was Glen Frey who actually played the solo. I would have sworn it was Don Felder. It is so tasteful and refrained and perfect for the song. Great choice and terrific lesson.
Sometimes simple is better - especially when the song is simple and has lots of air....
You’re right, it was definitely Felder. There’s a video of them on UA-cam recording it in the studio and Felder is clearly the one playing the solo
@@Sebastian-ri4re They faked it for the video. Glenn actually tracked the guitar and keyboards for the song, it would have been kind of bogus having him do both for the video. 😃

One of my favorite Eagles songs. And for some reason a very satisfying solo to play.
It's a very melodic solo, kind of like how some Santana solos are so soulful and can more easily be sung.
Welcome back! I missed your videos.
