I feel like so many impatient people dropped this show over them building story over a season. People just don't have the attention span for good storytelling anymore. I have anime for just entertainment like DBZ but sometimes I want more than just fights. Lol My Hero hits hard...no diddy
Crazy how there’s so many other anime out there that have really bad pacing issues and yet people dropped MHA just cause they didn’t like the first half of s5 ( yes half cause the second half was actually really great in my opinion ). Also I enjoyed the first half as well cause like you said, it was part of the build up for what was to come, but that’s me. Anyways they’d push through a whole arc that way worse & had way more episodes to cover than MHA that only had like 10 at most ? Crazy
@@Darkblazer789 We got so much stuff in s5, I’m convinced people watched that season with their eyes closed cause ain’t no way they watched the whole ‘my villain academia’ arc and thought that was boring. That plot with the Liberation Army was amazing. Also the Todoroki family stuff was hella interesting as well. Endeavour training Deku, Bakugo & Todoroki. Hawks being added to the story. I can’t believe people threw a fit just because they had a training arc with class b at the start, they are literally at school and ARE students. How are they supposed to improve if they aren’t actually doing any school stuff. It’s called ‘My hero academia’ for a reason. I really don’t get these type of people that watch anime, they just don’t understand the importance of ‘build up’ storytelling is for a plot
Yah it’s crazy to believe that Japanese fans were upset that the training camp arc was going on for too long and that the villains were winning. So horikoshi had to change some things……of all the parts of the manga to be upset about, you are upset at the villain winning during a training camp?
Now I wonder if Midoriya’s mom apologized not because she was sorry her son was born quirkless and couldn’t be a hero but…. What if she was offered a chance to give him a quirk and she turned it down? And that’s why she apologized when he looked at her and asked if he could be a hero too. Or maybe also heard rumors but never pursued it considering that his doctor was always working with All For One????

@@Darkblazer789 Literally the story was progressing so much faster in s5 compared to the what was happening in s4
@@1313__Shinobinot me I liked s5
MHA showing that it doesnt need action to make a banger episode
i was up at 4am for this. this episode was SO worth the whole week wait
Fun fact, the author wanted to make this reveal in season 3 when the kids were at the training camp but I guess he changed his mind 😅
Fans complained about the villains being around, so the training camp arc ended halfway early.
He explained that he had to cut some content that he had originally planned because of the reception at that point.

*I can’t be mad at Aoyama if I’m being honest. He didn’t want or choose for any of this to happen.*
Peak episode

The lore!!!
There is theory that Deku had Quirk but the doctor stole his quirk but this one is good too
