The baby powder one works! It's cheaper and way better than dry shampoo.. lasts longer as well! I have always done that and I never carry dryshampoo.. i fix my hair in the morning.. never needed it mid-day
Roboticalicja I tried it and it worked but the hair looks off and greasy like couple hours in. Would recommend it for a fast remedy for wedding but not really instead of showering
Use more baby powder. Let it sit for five minutes and then use a hairdryer for ten seconds or so. The hairdryer will blow away access baby powder and the greyish cast.
I think a lot of people also generally had short to mid length not so long like the girl in the tutorial (which mean lot of the audience) So Stella is good to try it out with her real hair and with mid lengths
@@andthentheinfiresnationatt7714 there is no baby in my home either... it's just called baby powder. It's not only used for babies. And while I understand your point, in an outdoors situation, both would be unlikely to have on hand randomly.
Have patience!! it took about a year and 3 months for my bangs to be able to be cut and blend with my hair now. Usually by month 8 they are long enough to go behind the ears, personally, i think that (if your hair is long) it looks really good with a nice bun and the bangs out. :D Use bobby pins to also blend by sleeking bangs to the side and pinning into a criss cross pattern.I feel like bangs help people with their patience, because we have to wait so long for the grown out phase.
@@claudiarussell5947 ok Claudia thank you:) I'll do my best. I can't handlethese damn bangs falling on my eyes and trimmed them a couple of times like a loser. But I'm gonna make it this time!)
I’ve used the baby powder hack since literally elementary school and onward. I keep a bottle in my car glovebox and my purse. Has worked like a charm for 20+ years.
i love the baby powder hack for myself as i have a very dry and sensitive scalp and i find that dry shampoo leaves my scalp full of itchy residue which makes my scalp irritated. I put some baby powder on, massage my scalp, then i brush it out and i go in with my blow dryer on the cold setting and i blow the rest of the powder away!
the first hack works tho. i always braid my hair and wet it a little before i go to sleep. i have nice waves in the morning. my hair is a little longer than yours tho so it might be the reason why it came kinda weird on you, lol.
Straight hair technique success for me i have longer hair but you should wash your hair then put any oil or cream as u like.. Then you have to section your heir into 2 sections.. Then round your first section then 2nd section.. Wait 3 hours and you will see awesome straight hair.. 😊❤️
In the states baby powder is really common. Most mother's carry it with them too. I only keep a tiny dry shampoo at home and it was pretty expensive. The baby powder for some serves dual purpose- for their kid and themselves. And it's at least half the price. But I can only use both for like a half day before saying "I just need to wash my hair" lol
Well... I actually use baby powder as dry shampoo a lot (even though I also have dry shampoo laying around) it works just fine since my hair is also not too dark. It has some cons: 1 the amount of product last way longer than a regular spraybottle of dry shampoo, it is way less expensive, 3. You can still breath in the same room after using it 😅 and the fragrance is really subtle
Love your looks Stella. Any chance you can do a video advising how we can do our own hair during lockdown? I really want to colour my hair (the grey is beyond bad now), and would rather not use a box dye, but don't know where to begin with more professional colours.
Although I do agree with you on most of this some of it can be down to the hair itself. I got a strawberry have very thick poofy wavy hair and if I put it in a bun for braids for long periods of time, take it out and people comment that it looks like I have it professionally curled.
I used to always use baby powder on my hair when I was in a rush, it always ruins clothes and leaves a cast but but works for the most part. I found out it was damaging though after a while so I have kinda stopped
When I was at basic, I couldn’t have dry shampoo so I would use my baby powder and I actually found that I like using baby powder more then regular dry shampoo😂
For the first one to work, you would need to twist your hair in sections, not just 2 ropes. And not many people will be willing to sleep with all those pins in their hair. Also, you are supposed to use cornstarch, NOT baby powder, but if you have dark hair, it will be obvious.
Hello Stella, muchas de las cosas que salen por Internet no son ciertas, lo del talco yo lo uso para quitar el brillo de mis pelucas y personalmente me ha servido. Saludos desde España y muchos éxitos bye bye
Use the colored packaging baby powders! they smell way better, not like baby butt XD. I think they have lavender, which is super fresh smelling and jasmine blossom which is like floral and sweet
Baby powder is way cheaper than dry shampoo in my country. Video just shows it works. Everybody knows people does not keep baby powder in Office. Why throw shade for it?
I don't know how people can expect hair styles to work when they are spraying their hair with a little bit of water and just waiting a few hours?!🤦🏻♀️ Your hair needs to fully wet, I mean not that tze water needs to drop of the ends but when you touch your hair or even look at it everyone would say she came out of a shower. Then waiting more than just 1-3 hours and you'll get those curls (besides she has way too short hair).

I do the same!!

It’s actually not baby powder, it’s corn starch. But it only works for about 2-3 hrs.
doesnt baby powder cause ovarian cancer? im pretty sure Johnson & Johnson is being sued for that presently
That headband is everything
why didnt you use a long wig since all the hairstyles you tried were for long hair?
A wig doesn't behave the same as real hair though.

@@nadithaam351 I have long hair..🤗🤗..(I just replied ,may be others don't have long hair😁😁😊)
Yes
Oh i feel for you! I get a headache whenever i put my hair into a ponytail.
More people [Who Arent Hair Stylists!] are more likely to have baby powder than dry shampoo tbh...
Maham Saleem i actually also use the baby powder as a setting powder and it is also a lot cheaper!!
@@verenar I'm actually gonna try that now. It also smells good lol
I don’t buy dry shampoo as I have baby powder somewhere in my house and it works sooo well
Not people without babies?? Also, she was talking about using baby powder in an outside environment was weird.

Can we please get a tutorial on that makeup?
It looks bomb!! And tbh when else would we ever find time to practice?
I second that
Stella please film a video about growing out awkward stage bangs before I take scissors and trim.them again while quarantined! Thank you)
actually quarantine seems like a great time to go through an awkward bangs stage, since no one is gonna see u

you look like Dominique Swain in Lolita with those braids pulled up
You look absolutely gorgeous with this hair colour so stunning
Could you do an everyday makeup look? Your makeup always looks amazing !
FIY you look nice in a pony and you look more beautiful without the make up....you have a natural blush that kind of looks nice
the ponytail looks actually so good!
5:18 what my hair looks like EVERY TIME I TRY TO CURL IT!!! 😒😱
You looks like a princess 😍😍😍💞!!
I use talcum powder if I've run out of dry shampoo works the same 👍

Talcum powder IS the main ingredient of dry shampoo.

Me: sleeping with that hair with pins and morning it's all opened 🙄😄😝
The baby powder was what we did at school before dry shampoo was even a thing, I think it's good advice personally
Only watching your outfit ando hair Style* ✨
She is so adorable...
My hair is wavy and i usually do some kind of heatless curls, but i guess it works because my hair is not straight
I used to do the baby powder hack back in school days when I didn’t have the time in the mornings
I don't know if you're aware that your shirt is see through. I'm not sure if you didn't notice when editing your video🤭
love your make-up *-*
I love this channel ❤️💙
It made my hair come out!!!!
'What STRAIGHT hair' LMAO

Oh girl. That shirt.

Whats wrong with her shirt? I don't get it

Lovely!!! i loved the curls in the intro, make us a tutorial girl
The baby powder hack is just what we did before dry shampoo was invented!
4th hack 😲😲😲 I can't sleep with so many pins in my head...
where did you get that shirt?!! i love it!!
She is so pretty!!!!😍
This video is full of roasting today lmao
Just some friendly advice baby powder is not safe to use anywhere. But I love your video!
I've been using baby powder for two years every week and I love it i can go longer without washing my hair😊
I actually am more likely to find baby powder then dry shampoo,
(we don't get rid of stuff like that after we don't use it anymore)

Like, and than watch. 😍

3rd hack we can try but on black hair it will look different. 😀

Dry shampoo is actually very uncommon where i live so i use the baby powder hacks a lot more than actual dry shampoo
Yaaaas queen
Maybe should have used a long human hair wig 😂😂

For shorter hair smaller sections I think would work better

Second one you should've had two ponytails, you have short hair you have to adjust if it's a hack for long hair..
With the fake bangs she looked like amanda bynes in ‘shes the man’.
I like your pink top, very pretty and feminine
Since you are a goddess all of them suits you
10:01 😂😂
Maybe these hacks don't work on damaged hair 🤔
I think so
You are my fav.
Pretty girl😀
12:16 looks like snow white hair style
Fake bangs worked 😀
Straightening your hair when it's wet is like getting into a bathtub full of water with a toaster. You just don't it.
You are so beautiful 😍😍😍😍🦋

First hack is not at all good...
Your hair is too short for these hacks
Wow attitude..

Please, don’t try anymore hacks from 5 minute crafts!!😩U have so much criticism!🙄
Hi can you give away a wig 😢 because wig is one of my dream😊😅 can you????
