Awesome tutorial! You mentioned not wanting the pieces to intersect when you added in the rotation to the random effector, how would you go about making the pieces solid so as not to intersect?
Hi bro, this tutorial is super on point. You're a huge inspiration for a beginner like me. Thank you so much !!! Can you make a tutorial or a short sharing video about your 3D path? How did you get to your level right now? That would be a big advice for us. Thank you again bro.
Thank you! I'm humbled to hear that! Thats actually a cool idea, I'd definitely take that into consideration and I probably will make one of those in the future!
Thank you for your knowledge, ojeng. You're the best. BTW for me the render problem its because the denoiser passes. When i disable it, works normally. IDK why atm. Thank you!
Hey I have an issue with voronoi fracture and octane. Everything is fine in the Live Viewer but when I render it, the object which I applied the Voronoi just disappear and it doesn't render. Do you know why ? Thank you 🙏🏽
Hey Kid, yeah I definitely know what you mean, I actually talked about it towards the end of this tutorial as I had the same issue. Unfortunately I don't have a definitive answer - I tried to render without turning on Live Viewer before, restarted c4d, restarted my computer. I also tried to cache the voronoi with the MoGraph tag. At some point, it finally rendered! Try these steps in that order, trying to render after each step. Also try to change the number of voronoi to a much much lower number, render to see if it works, and then change back to your original number and render again. Sorry this is a known c4d/octane issue that usually happens with stuff like vornoi or dense Volume Mesher objects.
@@NewPlastic Hey thank you for responding to me. I maybe found out something. I almost succeed lol. At the beginning, it renders and I can see the object but when the Plain Effector starts to break the object with the Voronoi Fracture, it disappears. I think we are getting closer to the solution so I share with you and maybe you will find the trick lol. Put the object (the statue) under a Connect Object and then, add an Octane Object Tag on the Connect Object.
From AE you would probably want to export a PNG as it's not heavy and can be uploaded anywhere. From C4D you would want EXR as it holds the most information and can be edited better.
Love this bro you don't know what a huge help you are. There's not many intermediate level tutorials out there
Happy to hear my guy!
I didn't watch yet the tutorial and I'm so hype just watching the intro 💜🔥

UPDATE: I just update my octane plugin : Octane 2020.2.3 works with no problems. :)
Interesting! Good to know that brother. Thanks for letting us know

@@ktrzr Interesting, I'll test it out! And when you add a connect object does the material still give each piece a different color?
What is format of image i need to export from AE (for best quality)? Is it EXR or PNG?
From AE you would probably want to export a PNG as it's not heavy and can be uploaded anywhere. From C4D you would want EXR as it holds the most information and can be edited better.
