Honestly, it is a great semi-homage watch at really awesome price point. Reliable movement, decent finish, nice & hefty looking bracelet and clasp. clean dial and hands....etc. At $90, I really do not have any issues about this watch at all. Especially without a tricky bezel (cheaper models always have issues on bezels...etc), this is a great looking, easy to wear, everyday watch at an awesome price. Nothing spectacular about it, but again, for someone who is looking for an everyday good looking watch at super price, this is it, in my opinion. Thanks for the review, Ivan.
PS: Yes, it is me, Alex. for a chance, very positive review, ha ha ha. Good day, Doc!
Haha thanks for the positive review Alex!
I think the rub would be in how it compares with the segment leader Paganj… especially that clasp; that’s probably where the distinction will lie.
I can’t get over your majestic voice
Haha thank you, very kind
Great review, thanks and best regards
Cheers mate!
Not a bad looking watch and certainly value for money 👍 thanks Ivan good review
Thanks James - I guess almost all the deign credit (again) goes to Rolex :)
Great looking watch, and excellent value
Thanks mate 👍
Hey Ivan, the one you should try get your hands on is the Addiesdive AD2023, the high beat seiko quartz vintage explorer design... looks very similar build quality as the San Martin Vintage Explorer, but its a 37mm x 46mm case, and its only AUD150ish give or take at sales. I think its the new value king winner. Only issue is that seiko movement requires battery changes every 2 years. But a perfect grab and go in the collection.
Interesting... it's a quartz though, so the price is mostly proportionate ($130 USD currently). How's the bracelet & clasp? That's where lots of brands let themselves down... and these guys hide it away instead of showing it on their website...
@@PerthWAtch Apparently it's decent, milled clasp, and very near san martin level, just the watch feels lite, perhaps because it's quartz after all. It's getting great reviews online. It's actually USD80ish now on sale.
Cadisen makes a decent watch for the price point, I have the pagani design version of this watch. I own 3 cadisen watches and like them all.
Ooh nice, sounds like this is your price point! How many do you have?
They offer some great value
Yes they do!
I have ordered the black one. Wondering if it could be my everyday watch😊
It sure can :)
It looks like a very comfortable and practical watch. Too bad the clasp is a bit clumsy.
It’s a Rolex knock off… and yep, they couldn’t do the clasp properly
I searched on my phone but couldn't find if you reviewed the Sugess Daytona? If I missed it disregard, but Sugess is on fire with recent watches.
Actually, Sugess is making several nice watches....really upped their game
Ooh wow... a 7750 clone movement watch for under $400!? That sounds sweet... I might reach out to them. I don't believe they've ever contacted me actually.
"Genuine Dandong ETA7750 Automatic Movement" haha how oxymoronic!
@@PerthWAtch lol. Anything guenuine from there.....is not....but they can be masters of copying sometimes.
I don’t know about the Tiffany Blue but what was that white face dial watch in the beginning?
That’s an old model C1031… search Cadisen on my channel to see the video
Please, May you tell me the name or number of the cadisen white dial watch that you show in the intro just befor the « président » one? Thanks a lot
I found it C1031. But it seems it is no longer available
Sorry to hear that :(
Cadisen make decent watches, albeit maybe lacking character. Not being a fan of the explorer (yes shock horror!) the numerals on this dial put me right off. If they did a full indices version I could be tempted. Great video as always
What do you mean “full indices”? You mean more a direct OP knock off?
Not bad, but I much prefer that San Martin Vintage Explorer case and design. That one was a total winner.
Yeah that’s a great homage, but more than 2x the price….
Magnetic 🧲 closure? Automatic watch? Brilliant!😂
That's not very smart.
Good point, but the way this box is, I don’t think it matters
@@PerthWAtch Will it magnetize the watch?
That’s your whole point isn’t it? See my video for the timing results
Perpetual what
Ask Rolex 😂
Cum explorer? 🤔
Yep!
These watches are overpriced for a homage with a Seiko movement. Seiko just released their Seiko 5 Sports 38mm for less. Seiko in-house movement, 100m water resistant, with solid oysterband bracelet.
Bruh really!? Don’t post fake news mate - show me where you get that “for less” 😂
Even if it’s the same price (which it ain’t), here’s a few things for you to consider:
1. No evidence that the “in-house” movement is better
2. You get a push crown with “100m WR”, cheap mineral glass, crappy end links, crappy bracelet and crappy clasp with the Seiko
3. You get screw down crown, sapphire crystal, solid end links, screw bracelet and machined clasp with this for $90.
So… go do some research. I call your BS opinion on this being overpriced. You won’t find cheaper. Keep it real bruh. Really.
I agree with you@@PerthWAtch. You'll never find a new real Seiko for the price of the Cadisen shown in your review that can come even close to the specs. Good call.
