- I am starting Drama School! 🎭 I vlogged all of my first day, including welcome speeches, the campus, hanging out with my best friend Oliver in London and discussing all the musical theatre news, the Musicals Night party organised by the Student Union and a long chat with all my opinions on the school!

Background Info:
After years of training in acting, singing and dance I auditioned for London's drama schools, and I got into the best of them! This spring I was offered a place at the MA Acting course at East 15 Acting School (University of Essex), which was awarded the UK's best drama school in 2018 and 2019. I have spent many months thinking back and forth about whether to jump into the unknown and leave behind a wonderful home, a great job, incredible friends and family and actually go for my dream - and I decided to do so. My social media is called "She Lives Her Dream" for a reason. ✨

Is this stage acting or screen acting??? Because I only want to focus on screen acting and headshots and stuff as there is a big difference between the 2
I am 15 and always change what I want to do as a job and I love love music and Elton John! But I haven’t chosen drama or music for gcse so is it possible for me to get into drama school if I join a drama club outside of school ? Because I’d love to be an actor in a film
They really don’t mind how much experience you have as long as you’ve shown a long term and serious commitment to drama. You’ll need to think really carefully about wether this is what you want to do when the time comes - this needs to be something you’ll really love not only as a career but as a lifestyle. I’d definitely recommend getting involved in some kind of drama group as it’s just another way of showing your commitment (and hopefully have a bit of fun!). Hope this helps!

Yes you actually can! Sometimes schools do like experience but if you really impress them in the audition you will be fine without experience xx
If you don't sing very well you can join a drama school?
you can take different course so if you can't sing then I think you can do an acting course that doesn't include singing
@@maisiehinde411 It does include singing but it's not a focus, it's simply one of the ways they use to develope your voice
