I can't wait for October too! (But I hate summer lol). That's a really nice place. An entire Blu-ray collection would be sweet, but I do know how much work goes into those.
I had one of those patio umbrellas that block out the sun. I was so excited when I seen it at a discount store. I put it together and put it right over my bbq to help in the summer when I grill in the hot summer heat. I was cooking some sausages that burn easy when the top is down so I left it open and went inside to grab a beer. I came outside to my new umbrella face down on the grill and smoking. My sausage got heat melted onto the umbrella and I had to throw everything out. Lol. They need to make the bases heavier.
Hey KJ, thanks! How've you been? I was actually just watching some of your videos. Will you be making videos again soon? It's been too long, definitely miss your videos.
Nice house/room tour, great stuff! You could do certain studios in different sections like Scream Factory then Arrow Video etc for your collection vids
Love the place. This community sounds pretty amazing and would love to see some videos out and around the surrounding area. I guess bringing a camera to the pool is probably not a great idea, though, but that would be cool to see. I was once great at trading and reselling movies out of the collection that I didn't care for, but lately since physical media isn't as easy to find, I tend to keep pretty much everything I buy. I sort of remain fascinated by certain movies I don't like and my opinion occasionally changes over time. Also, whenever I get rid of something I tend to get a sudden urge to see it again. It's a smart idea, though, when you can make some cash on it. I love bargain hunting, too. Probably my favorite way to stock flicks right now.
I am fairly new to your channel but I say keep up the variety. I enjoy it even tho I came across your channel for the bluray reviews. And a Mission Impossible set giveaway? I'm definitely gonna be on the look out for that. and you should totally do a review/unboxing of that Seinfeld set. I've never seen it in person.
Dude you seem like one of the most comfortable in their skin guys. I've been watching your videos on and off for years but I don't think I ever commented. You're the kind of dude who would make a good neighbor haha. Btw, what part of Jersey are you at? I'm central close to Elizabeth.
Thanks homie, never that for me, I'll be a physical media guy to the end but while I've cut the collection down its still pretty massive but now I'm at the point where I feel it's hard to cut it down more.
The pricing is the same as the Twilight time release as is the video quality, it came from the same old mgm master, it's the only one in the mgm vault apparently. Twilight Time has a booklet and nice interior artwork. I also never understood why one would need or want dual format, I never use the dvd disc if I have the blu-ray disc also I live in the U.S. and my old region free player stopped working so it's region A for me and the MOC is region B locked. The fact that the Twilight Time is region free is actually a big advantage in my opinion. Actually it would cost much more with shipping since I live in the U.S. Overall they are about the same. I think some people prefer MOC and other lines/companies solely based on name recognition.
+Absolutesublime1 Same master, but higher bitrate is higher bitrate (quality freak). I see dual format as including a backup copy, albeit lower resolution. Your region issue is a bummer, though.
Ah, I was just typing back to you ha. I just saw that you are correct on the bitrate, even if only a minor difference I would of course prefer the best so that is a good call on that one. I do plan to get another region free player soon but need to do more research to ensure I get one that lasts longer. There are too many great releases that are region locked. Thanks for pointing out the bitrate factor, I missed that initially, cheers!
Don't feel like you're alone, Jay. I'm not a fan of Step Brothers either. For pretty much the same reasons as you. It's just a little too stupid for me. Don't get me wrong, I like stupid comedy, but that just overdoes it

congrats Jay. peace to you bro.
Great vid!!! I'm all for top 10 lists and more beer reviews!!! 🤘🏻🍻🤘🏻
Awesome house and Blu-ray/DVD collection! I hope you feel better from your allergies.
Thank you x 2 :). Hope you have a great week my friend
+Absolutesublime1 Thanks! 😄

Glad to hear it, you keep in touch too man, it's been ages! It's good to hear from you again after your cryogenic sleep.
Nice house/room tour, great stuff! You could do certain studios in different sections like Scream Factory then Arrow Video etc for your collection vids
Me and my creative writing class in school watched Stranger Than Fiction. I like it.
That's awesome, great film for creative writing
I love October too and part of it is because my birthday is in October. I just had my birthday last week.
ElectroShock Happy Birthday! I hope you had a great time!

You could do a channel where you show the boxes and dvd's that you have there. So many videos you could do. One for each dvd.
Where do u get ur bookcases
Amazing video jay
Thanks , have a great week
do a clothing update!!!
XxEVOxX what kind like showing new clothes I buy or like all my movie related or horror related shirts or just an overview of my clothes in general?
Absolutesublime1 It would be awesome to see horror shirts!! and other clothing pick ups!! your style is awesome!
XxEVOxX thanks I appreciate that, I like mixing it up and trying new video topics so I'll definitely do some clothing videos
Very Cool man.

Do you have Phila on Twilight Time?
No but I really want to get that one, it's high on my wish list, such a fantastic film.
I'm up for seeing a top ten underrated horror. Are you still selling any? I'd be interested in any horror if so.
You should do a digibook collection video.
Will do , thanks for the recommendation :)
you have a nice house! I moved house 2 years ago and a lot of my dvds are stil piled up on the floor lol
...and your dog is super cute!
Thank you, ah I can definitely relate to the movies piled up on the floor haha

You selling your collection Jay?! Lolll dude please do a twilight time collection update. Place looks awesome! Vlog meetup soon yo!
Thanks homie, never that for me, I'll be a physical media guy to the end but while I've cut the collection down its still pretty massive but now I'm at the point where I feel it's hard to cut it down more.

Looking forward to chilling again, it's been ages! Lemme know when you're free
I've been getting sick too recently.
Sorry to hear that, hope you feel better soon
Allergies as well?
great video!! what is the model of your bookcases?
Thanks, the billy bookcase , the bigger version
There's a skinny model and the big boy model. They're almost 7 feet tall and 3 feet wide each
Thank you so much for the answer.
No problemo :)
cool video mate. here's an idea for a video, mini reviews on all the marvel & DC movies you have :)
Good idea, thanks for that video concept recommendation :)
Absolutesublime1 No problem bud. Keep up the good work :)
You should have gotten the MOC release of Eureka instead of Twilight Time.
How come?
Sensible pricing, dual format, liner notes, higher bitrate video. Beautiful cover art. Overall, a more worthwhile release.

when you opened the fridge I thought you were going to say beer was your first favorite food. disappointed. cool place
i love the vlog but videos do take a while to load
Thanks and it's true it takes a while. Hope you're doing well my friend :)
Every time you mention how you don't Step Brothers it bums me out.
Haha sorry, I'm like the only person I know of who doesn't like it but I appreciate that it's a good go to movie to pop in while on a date 😂
Don't feel like you're alone, Jay. I'm not a fan of Step Brothers either. For pretty much the same reasons as you. It's just a little too stupid for me. Don't get me wrong, I like stupid comedy, but that just overdoes it
i wish i lived with u
Haha thanks , I'd like to think I'm a good roommate plus lots of movies to watch too
