Hi. On sedation for extractions, true. My brother was addicted to opioids, finally went for treatment. He went to controlled METHADONE EVERY day. He is fine. True. My understanding was that HE instructed the oral surgeon. FYI for me? NO ONE puts me to sleep unless I am in a hospital OR, and I already have spoken with the anesthesiologists. I would argue that next to brain surgeons, these doctors are THE BEST. They put you to sleep, then wake you up when they want!! Michael Jackson and his "milk" this was sedation sleep not restorative sleep for the body.
Okay, I read the book, I saw Oprah incensed with James Frey. I saw it all! Frey did not have the language to say: "The genre of my book is realistic fiction (based on mine and others' experiences.") The book is SO powerful that there is NO way some or all was NOT his experience or others, I would say 90% at some time in his life. There is no plagiarism! What's the deal? He misrepresented himself to Oprah? Do yourself a favor and READ THIS BOOK. Sooner or later, there will come a time in your life that you may need to draw on these experiences. Hopefully, not personally.
