My cat is a great comfort during medical flares and times of high anxiety or sadness for me. Having that company that is not going to try to ask a billion questions or try to "fix things"... just someone to hangout with you as you're going through it, that is such a relief. And he gives me an extra source of purpose and routine as I take care of him and our home while the rest of the household is away.
Your channel is absolutely amazing and I'm so glad you are back. You have helped so many people and I hope it keeps growing because you deserve a big audience. Well done Kat
I also read that the frequency of a cat's "purr" can help heal broken bones. The fact that cats (and dogs or any pet) can help improve mental health has been known for years. The act of looking after an animal gives the owner a sense of purpose and the unconditional love that an animal gives also helps improve mood/depression. Animals also provide benefits for blood pressure lowering as well. I know that people who have a heart attack survive years longer if they have an animal (especially dogs) than those who don't have a pet.
Also my cat(s) can sense when I’m depressed. They tend to sleep next to my face and try to stop me from snoring lol 😂
I was soo sad today just sitting on my floor & my baby kitten came & laid on my foot & fell asleep & it definitely positively impacted me

Cat’s are very helpful for your mental health conditioning 😊

I wonder if I’m improving my cat’s mental health…
