Yes mine is Very loud as well. But i got use to the sound and now it doesn't bother me but someone else may notice how loud it is! But as long as i know it's normal and it performing well it's ok with me! I had it over a week now and i love my kuerig!
Your video was very helpful and informative. I just received my mini plus the other day and followed your video, you are spot on about the sound, it made making coffee in the morning a waste of time. I typically drink a cup of coffee to wake up, the sound of the mini plus not only woke me up, but started my day with a headache. Knowing what you shared on this video about this being the noisiest Keurig, knowing I would have to overcome "noise" each morning when I awake, it only took me about 5 minutes to box the mini up (equivalent to making a cup of coffee with this mini plus), to take to UPS to send back to Amazon. So, what Keurig do you recommend that is the most quiet, seeing as though I know need a coffee machine, LOL!
Perhaps you should get a replacement. I bought one white and color net is not make any loud noises. As a matter fact, you can hardly Heron brewing. I have to lean over and put my ear down and make sure the water is heating up. You must’ve got a defective one.
I'm buying one of these tomorrow since we just went on vacation and the hotel didn't have a Kuerig and I only drink my blueberry cobbler coffee at home. I had to go by Chic-fil-a every morning to get a Frosted Coffee until I used one of the hotel's supplied coffee bags and slit it open to add my blueberry coffee. So frustrating when hotels only have coffee makers that only fit their own coffee filter packs. At least put a normal maker or a Kuerig in the lobby 🤷♀️
Too bad it doesn’t actually work like this. We’ve had trouble with it every time we use it. Normally it makes the first cup ok. Often it doesn’t even do the first cup. I definitely would not recommend this Keurig. We have owned several, and this one is definitely not a good one.
Thanks I just bought this one for my office area in the house. It's a tad long to get to brewing and the coffee tasted weak even though I pressed the strong button. I"ll give it another try and adjust the water amount and see if that works. I have a regular standard Keurig in the kitchen and it brews nice strong coffee so I'll have to see if this one can give me a good cup of coffee. If not..I'll be returning it.

I do have one question. You mention the filter and I was wondering if that’s an accessory you purchase in addition to the machine because mine did not come with a filter. That is about the only suggestion I would say is missing from the video. Perhaps in the beginning of your video you might want to start with “what’s in the box.” Otherwise, very good video and instructions.
You forgot to said that when you use the MY K-CUP universal reusable coffee filter, just remember to remove the Plus Series Adapter from it - otherwise it will not fit.
My parents got this for me for my birthday so they could brew coffee at my house…. I hit the button and it keeps sucking the water in and never putting it out. Then I have to turn it back off and on again and headed to brew again what am I doing wrong? They are 20 minutes away. Help!
Afterthought, could a Melitta JavaJig reusable K cups in place of a k cup pod? They are made to replace the coffee pod so you can brew your own coffee. Wouldn't that cost a lot less than buying Keurig's reusable filter?
It’s a good video because it’s pretty much how it works. However, there is one mistake she makes in the beginning, saying that it only comes in red and black. I bought mine off of Amazon and it’s white. Other colors in this mini plus were available such as turquoise, etc. Maybe when she did the video it only came in red and black but now there’s a plethora of colors to choose from. I like it but still I can’t get past the fact that Carrie is so popular and it’s made of such cheap plastic and it moves around when you open the lid closer it slides across the counter. Yeah I still bought one for the exorbitant price,(due to the fact it’s made of cheap light plastic, and definitely from China) in my opinion of $90. Go figure. 😬 I did purchase a slip proof rubberized mat to place it on so every time I used it didn’t go sliding across the counter top.
Siri decided to change the word Keurig that I dictated to “Carrie” in my comment. For some reason there’s no edit feature like there used to be on here or if there is a doesn’t work on my iPhone 14 Pro Max, the point being I have an updated model.
I just got the Mini-Plus and also ordered the universal reusable filter. So do I need to use the filter adaptor or remove the adapter with this model? So far I've only used the disposable pre-filled pods.
Problem....I fill the K-mini Plus with my desired amount of water then I put my K-cup in place. When I close the "lid" shut and hit the brew button the machine will only heat up 1-2 oz at a time. When it does heat up the 1-2 oz the machine will just shut off. Each time I have to open and close the lid in order for it to heat up another 1-2 oz. Then it will finally brew the coffee. Anyone sle have this problem?
Hi Wayne, how much water are you putting in the reservoir? If I put in 10 ounces, all 10 ounces brew into my cup after 2 mins, which is how the unit should work. I would suggest calling Keurig customer service.
Good review. But I did not get a good look at the reusable pod. I purchased this machine and the My K-Cup universal reusable pod and it will not work no matter what I do. Which reusable my k-cup should I buy?????

Hi Bob, here is info from Keurig - Keurig® home brewers use the most power during their initial startup. When heating for the first time after being off, peak usage is 1,500 watts. If the power is kept on, the brewer will keep the internal tank up to temperature using between 200 - 400 watts when heating. While idle and not maintaining heat, the brewer will use the average electricity of a 60 watt light bulb.
I find when I closed it after i put the pod in i have to press really hard and it seems so frail. I started pressing the pod in to pierce the bottom then putting the lid down. since it easily pierces the top. anyone one else notice this?

I picked one of these up for 60 dollars i usuially over flow the top storage thing to get more coffee. Works pretty well. Good quality

You actually don't need to turn the power button on. It automatically comes on when you raise the lid.

I won one of these through kellogg's, it's pretty loud! It sounds like the motor is grinding! It works though

What if you want strong coffee? What is the strong button all about, do you press that instead of the big K button?
The strong button takes longer to brew which results in the coffee tasting stronger. Press the strong button then K 😁

No, those have to be purchased separately. And there other versions, you don't have to buy the Keurig one.

Ground coffee amount stays constant. U decide how much water to determine the coffee/water ratio. U adjust water amount.

Contact Keurig customer service, only hot liquid should be coming out.

There should be more emphasis on how loud this unit is. It is loud enough to wake up other people in the household if they aren’t out of bed yet.
