ആദർശ് ചേട്ടൻ്റെ താമരക്കാലൻ വായിച്ചതിനുള്ള നന്ദി ആദ്യമേ അറിയിക്കട്ടെ. അവതരണം മനോഹരം. വിവരണം ഹൃദ്യം. പുസ്തകം വായിച്ചു. 16 വ്യതസ്ത കഥകൾ. എന്നും ഓർമയിൽ തളം കെട്ടി നിൽക്കുന്ന രചനാ ശൈലി.
Beyond the craft of story telling,aall the casualities and the global scenario and encounetrs on the warfront has been potrayed wonderfully well ,and the title has said it as to who should be the hero and who should be choosen as the victor and the vanquished,As Mam has rightly put up in a lucid emotional conversational style all the losses that has been inflicted up on by way of extremists and war has been put up in the human perspective,the children streching the hands for food like seeking the alms and the girls in disguise with stealing scary eyes and the plight of journos paying through their lives for honest reporting and their demises left unheard and unsung is sometimes treated so casually as a painful passing read .True the story has been able to have the universal theme of love and rejection of war and extremism with minimum protagonists put to the story ,mom,s emotions and concern for the husband as the protagonists father and the orphaned childhood and the legacy of the saffron city brings the scenario of the borders and at whose lives expense it works,it has been a wonderful narration and equally good rendition hats off
