Hi! I have TT mk2 and exterior door handle won't return to it's original position after opening the door. You have to push it back. I dismanteled the whole thing but I'm not still sure whats wrong. I suspect that spring in backing plate (or what it is called) is somehow stuck. You hold that piece in your hand ad 3:30 and it seems like that silver part should be spring loaded and return back is you turn it? In my case that silver part barely moves, I really have to push it with my finger to get it turning in either direction.

No, the inside door handle has a separate cable to the latch

My handle wont come back to its normal position after pulling, is this the problem? The door lock works perfect. But handle wont come to its normal position after pulling it.

Maybe it isn't installed properly. I would take it out and try to reinstall it again
