Hi Marcus, thank you very much for posting - it's awfully nice to see you in action, both tuning and playing. May you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Warmest wishes - Paul
Thanks so much, Paul for your encouragement. I realise that my playing isn't perfect and it's dangerous to play well-known pieces! Have a blessed Chrismas! Marcus
I visited Morleys in the 1980s. They had quite number of these pianos on display. unusual frame with the satin finish. As you say, Grotrians are lovely pianos.
The 6’ Ibach I bought S/H in New Zealand in 1994 was sold new by Morleys in the early 1980s. Then traded into Steinway House in London and bought by a kiwi couple who had it shipped here. Amazing how big pianos travel the world!
thanks for your work and nice videos, you are the only one who show up the instruments in detail, from inside with all its technique, so nice to follow your chanel, keep up the great work and may good bless you....
The Grotrians are great can can make music very beautifully. Here's one in concert ua-cam.com/video/QnYITP11UgQ/v-deo.html although I damped the duplexes in the very top.

Exquisitely mellow and mellifluous, but the bass, not so much.
