Besides cost, is there any downside to buying carbon fiber wheels as compared to a very sturdy forged alloy or magnesium? Seems the CF wheels are as much as 2 to 3 pounds lighter per wheel and the ratings of deflection, weight, torsion, impact are all quite high.
I remember seeing those spun aluminum wheels on bikes all over Daytona Beach back in the day. They were sooooo rad! What a wonderful family legacy, God bless RSD ❤
