This little Trailhawk is darned near insulting these big dogs. Trailhawks are downright awesome. Love mine. Trailhawks might have zero articulation whatsoever, but they have everything else - and they don't beat you up on city streets like Wranglers do. And this little TH, unlike the big dogs, are economical daily drivers that hold the kids, groceries, and spare, without a hitch or roof rack. And taking that drop at 13:27 was AMAZING, did better than the Wrangler!
Absolutely amazed where you were able to drive your rig. You managed some fantastic handling skills. Was sure some of those rock challenges were going to be too extreme. Glad you smashed my doubts into pieces.
That was a fun trail I took my Renegade Trailhawk on it, and I can't wait to go back and take my cherokee trailhawk but it was a long drive from Michigan lol
Just filmed fins and things myself... lost my KL wheeling buddy in the sand dunes the day before though. Thought I was doing it solo but... a 2020 JLUR, a 2003 TJ, and a Toyota joined me :). Loved this video so much that I watched both again just now!
Fearless Trailhawk yea, I got kicked out of my hotel yesterday. However, I’m alright with it... they only have 4 vents and 17 beds in their hospital. Depending on when you go, this mess should be over by then! Good luck! Colorado has good wheeling and large capacity hospitals if not tho! Come here!
That little Cherokee looks ridiculous with its wheels 3 feet in the air but it does it. Reminds me of a mini H1. You do gain a little something with a low cog and no diffs to drag in the center.
The lack of low hanging diffs is something many never consider. Though my control arms are what hangs me up in the deep ruts. I love how freaked out my wrangler friends get when i lift a tire because in their minds that means i'm about to roll over or something...
Very capable Trailhawk. Milstars are nice tires which I’ve considered purchasing but they seem a bit slick for that particular terrain which I’ve seen before on other Jeeps.
This is why I’d take the Cherokee over a wrangler. Close to as capable but more practical in every way. Get the panoramic roof and boom, easy open top!
Right! Every time i see one of my wrangler friends complaining about taking the top off or putting it back on...i just look at that handly little button i have! Granted its not quite the same...but i do quite enjoy being able to hear myself think! I could never be able to stand the noise from a naked wrangler at highway speeds.

I'm a little biased, but i've only had great experiences with MOJO, very awesome and active Jeep club. A quick search for "Ohio Jeep Club" on facebook yields most of the ones i'm familiar with.
So far no more issues with them since the diff was replaced. I'm goimg back to Moab again this summer so we'll see how they do. I honestly think the rear end collision contributed to the failure.
@@ElectricDanielBoone 100% warranty. I towed it to the nearest dealership and dropped it off, rode the 1,500 miles home with some friends, then flew out the following friday to drive it home...1,500 miles by myself.

If you'd asked me this 6 months ago, i'd say its great. But after my recent rear diff replacement, i haven't been able to wheel without having some electronic 4x4 issue. For the 3 years prior only issues i've had really could basically be traced back to me wheeling it a bunch or doing something dumb. I'd still pick this over a forester for capablility. imho.
So tell me about this Trailhawk. I have an XJ with 4.5 inch lift on 33's. I want a "Daily" aka one I pay a note on...and I am looking at the Trailhawk Cherokee. I CAN NOT leave any vehicle stock. If it is a Jeep it needs mud tires. What upgrades have you done to your Trailhawk?

Depending on exact location, my normal stomping grounds may only be a couple hours away from you. I'm really hoping to get to Bantam next year, and the West Virginia jeep fest. I may try to do something mid/late October, but not sure.
I have a couple of times, its neat, and i mean to use it more but i just forget about it. Though anymore for hill decent i just put it in first and supplement with brakes, where the mode will do it with 100% brakes.

Simply awesome watching the trailhawk going head to head with the big boys. My trailhawk amazes me all the time.

Great Jeep 👍 what has the lift and larger tires done to your gas mileage? I’m assuming this is your daily driver too?
It has not been kind. Atm i'm getting about 17 mpg with the MT's, and 21 mpg when i swap the stocks back on.

Just a gopro mount at the top of the inside of the windshield. With a cheap polarized filter to reduced dashboard glare.
