Amazing face. Not the same next. Make sure to remember any lies u ever told and to share food with the poor and never lie reverse all lies ever told very important for you
All of the quilting on the corset is SO pretty and you don't even get to see it! And I'm so impressed that all the cording in the petticoats gave it so much volume without a hoop
Imagine if Disney actually had the cajones to give us a period 1830s version of The Little Mermaid WITH ALL THOSE FANTASTIC HARISTYLES. The 1830s had the weirdest silhouette imo, but you still made such a pretty dress. QvQ Definitely want a better look at that corset construction.
Exquisite work! Bella, would you consider making the most gorgeous Belle dress? I would love to see what you would have designed for the live action Beauty and the Beast if they’d given you the opportunity. I wasn’t crazy about the live action dress Emma wore. Although I was impressed when you recreated it exactly.
I love this. The only commentary I dare add is that I think it would be interesting if the fabric itself was more modern/fantasy looking, in a shade similar to what they use at the parks. It could make for a fun mix of historical and Disney. That said, I absolutely admire your dedication and video quality
This is fun! Last year I designed and made a full illustration myself an 1830's dress for Ariel based on the pink gown she uses for the dinner scene! I also included the fork, it's basically a MUST HAVE reference in that hair and that time!
Bella Mae! Another exquisite dress with such beautiful undergarments! The attention to detail on undergarments which aren't seen is mind blowing! You are amazing and i enjoy watching you sew everything! Well done !
All that is needed is a pink/purple shell accent at the bust for a bit of color and to match the shell/rosette on Ariel's gown. Doesn't event need to be sewn on. Everything else is so perfectly done it would be the topper on an already iced cake.
I just finished my first ever corset this week, and it was a pair of 1830s corded stays - I can't believe you cut that entire process down to only a few seconds, knowing just how long it takes to do all that cording!!!
Your video showed up in my recommended, and while I have NO IDEA what those terms are that you spoke of in your video, the dress and hair came out beautiful. =D
(if there's enough footage) I'd love a video on the corset! It looks gorgeous and super interesting! Very pretty dress though, and I am not a 1830s fan, generally!
Same, never been a huge fan of this era, but it's so crazy it's fun to do! 😂 And yes, there will be detailed videos coming out about all the different parts of this outfit!
The dress looks amazing!!! Strangely it reminds me of the dresses worn in the 1998 animated Little Mermaid movie, where the lady who was going to marry the prince wore a wedding dress quite similar to this one! 😅
Sooo gorgeous!!!! Incredible work. I hope you're able to reuse those petticoats for other projects because that seemed like a ton of time and money just for the undergarments. 🤑 the end result is definitely worth it though!
I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS DRESS!!!!! This is one of my favorite eras as it is such a fun and extravagant and absolutely bonkers silhouette and boy did you deliver!! Why such a short video though?
Thanks! There will be detailed videos coming out about all the different parts of this outfit! I wanted to finish my 18th century outfit series before starting a new one, but I wanted to get something short out while the movie is still new.
Oh this came out great!!! I have 1830/40s on my "list" of things to make and still haven't done it. HAHA That bodice is spectacular though love the draped pleating. Everything came out fantastic.
Yes, macrame cord is what the one spool of cording was. The thicker stuff I found on amazon years ago and was cording for curtains and such, but it's pretty thick, so mostly did the other stuff.
I love the dress and like how detailed everything. I have question have seen movie sleepy hollow? If have will making costume from that movie in future?
I finally discovered linen thread for these hand sewing times and it's so much better! I've been using the 50/3 or the 30/3 for most of this hand-sewing in this video: burnleyandtrowbridge.com/collections/threads/products/30-3-tailors-linen-thread-large-spool?variant=32421391433815
Bella, I am sure I was subscribed to your channel, and suddenly I am not anymore🤔it happened to at least one more subscription of mine. I guess sometimes youtube just unsubscribes people without them knowing?
Pretty dress with pretty person💕 You know well but something doesn't suit you in your hairstyle. I don't want to hurt you. I find things a little inconsistent. I want you to look good. Because you are a pretty girl.💖💖💖💕💕💕💕💕

Long form video WILL be COMING for each part of this outfit!
Yes please!
Amazing face. Not the same next. Make sure to remember any lies u ever told and to share food with the poor and never lie reverse all lies ever told very important for you
And THIS is the stuff I wanted in the live action
Exactly! The dresses were lacking.
One day.
@@JC1533-g7n Yeah, it's not happening

A in detail video will be coming on the corset! But yes, it all get covered up when the dress is on!
I'll be anxiously waiting for all those videos! I'd love to make a similar dres for my doll, thank you so so much!!!
sad 😢

That would be insane!!

I wasn’t crazy about the live action dress Emma wore. Although I was impressed when you recreated it exactly.
Thanks! It's not on the plans right now, but it would be a fun challenge for sure!
The dress is beautiful, but your corset and petticoats are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. Your sewing and creative skills are amazing!!
This dress and underthings feel like a real labor of love. It shows in every stitch. The dress is lovely.🩵🩵🩵
Aw, thank you! I definitely like the details! :)
This dress is so pretty! And the fork fits so perfectly with the ridiculous 1830s hairstyles!
Yes, it's so crazy that it does!
The wave detail and colour of the dress is beautiful. What an amount of ironing to achieve a fashionable silhouette!
I thought about it a lot. I pay attention for years now to women's fashion. This Ariel dress is my favorite dress of all time. ❤
With this look I can really see how the stepsisters in Cinderella were designed
your craftmanship is amazing!! you can really skow off with these historic pieces! they look as if they should belong in a museum! craaazy good!!!
I love the wave trim on the skirt, and that colour is just gorgeous 😍
I love this. The only commentary I dare add is that I think it would be interesting if the fabric itself was more modern/fantasy looking, in a shade similar to what they use at the parks. It could make for a fun mix of historical and Disney.

Straight out of Wives And Daughters. 😮✨ Beautiful!!
oh, it's beautiful!!!!! the gown is epic, and i love the hairdo. i'm glad that longer making-of videos are coming soon--yay!!
Thanks! Yes, those will be starting in about a month (I want to finish up the series on my 18th century dress.)
I love this dress so much! The hair is the cherry on top. THE SLEEVES.
The bodice dropping is beautiful. The whole dress and under this gs are lovely. I'd like to see more of how you made and designed this outfit.
I'll have full in-detail videos coming out about all the different parts!

This is giving me so much serotonin! So beautiful & I also live the way this video was edited.
My God 😮 your attention to detail is absolutely amazing 🤩 soooo beautiful and fun to watch! Thank you so much!
Aw, thank you so much!
I’ll never be as good at sewing as you, I give up and just live vicariously through your videos. 😅😢
WOW! This is stunning and I love all the detail!!
The whole dress is just beautiful, but the hand sewing on this corset and under garments…I could watch forever! Lovely 💕
Thank you! Be on the look out for a full video about the making of the corset as well as all the other parts of this outfit!
STAAHHHHHHP this is beauty. the attention to detail, the love, the precision.....it's amazing. thank you so much for sharing
you just singlehandedly saved the little mermaid for me. in terms of what ariel-related-content i saw in 2023, this was the only thing i liked...
I love the sleeves! You have such amazing talent!!
The wig is absolutely perfect!!! You are a jack of all trades!! Perfect creations!
You make adulthood seem like an actual asset with your cool cool life and amazing dress. ❤
Hahah! That's great! Adulthood isn't easy, but it does have amazing opportunities!
All that is needed is a pink/purple shell accent at the bust for a bit of color and to match the shell/rosette on Ariel's gown. Doesn't event need to be sewn on. Everything else is so perfectly done it would be the topper on an already iced cake.
Oh, that's a fun idea!
Stunning dress…your skills are amazing Bella Mae…🥰🇦🇺
Once again our talented and beautiful craftsperson wows us with her creation.
Impressive and imaculate work as always
It's so VERY excited of Ariel Dress!!! ❤❤❤
I just finished my first ever corset this week, and it was a pair of 1830s corded stays - I can't believe you cut that entire process down to only a few seconds, knowing just how long it takes to do all that cording!!!
Oh, how fun!! So that's just for this video, there will be a full one coming out about just the corset, 'cause yes, it's definitely a process! 😅
@@BellaMaesDesigns phew!! Well, in that case, I'm very much looking forward to seeing the full video!! 🤗
I love the color of the taffeta you chose and the dress turned out super pretty!
The amount of detail you put into your projects is astonishing, can’t wait to see how every part was made !

You made a beautiful dress with amazing attention to detail -- very impressive!
IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL
Such a fun dress! Love it!
I would love it if you did a more detailed video on how you made the corset.
That will definitely be coming! I'll have in-detail videos on all parts of the outfit starting in about a month!
I love this so much 😍
Aw, thank you! ❤️
I adore that poofy wave detail !!!
Question though, how much does that wooden busk impede motion compared to other corsets?
This is absolutely phenomenal!!!! Wow!!! Love it!!!
wow i want to try to make this
What a wonderful talent you have recreating a 1830s dress.💗
Just love your work!!
Amazing! I’m a good seamstress but look like a completely rookie next to you.
I am never ceased to be amazed at you God given talent. Such beautiful work, beautiful editing and the end result is sheet perfection! ❤
Aw, thank you so much!
Absolutely beautiful love it😊❤️❤️❤️❤️
The dress looks amazing!!!
Strangely it reminds me of the dresses worn in the 1998 animated Little Mermaid movie, where the lady who was going to marry the prince wore a wedding dress quite similar to this one! 😅
Oh my gosh I'm literally making a pattern for a parks Ariel dress right now! Can you make a video on it? I love all your videos
Oh, how fun! Unfortunately, I made the parks dress before I was YouTubing...
I'll love to see this in pink version of the dress
Sooo gorgeous!!!! Incredible work. I hope you're able to reuse those petticoats for other projects because that seemed like a ton of time and money just for the undergarments. 🤑 the end result is definitely worth it though!

You look adorable and with that hair you kinda look like the tightrope girl portrait from the haunted mansion I always thought she looked cool
The ridiculousness of 1830s fashion makes it a factor mine. Just so bizarre and yet I want it!!
Beautiful!!
WOW, this is amazing work! Thank you for sharing!
This is so cute! And I even guessed right on your insta story 😉
Oh, fun! Good job! 👏
Oh my God I laughed when you showed the forks, because Ariel loves them too.
Haha, yup!!
Bella, It's an absolute dream!!
This is lovely!
aah help! For cotton cording... What do I buy?! I can never find anything...
Macrame cord works! I used it for my corded petticoat
Yes, macrame cord is what the one spool of cording was. The thicker stuff I found on amazon years ago and was cording for curtains and such, but it's pretty thick, so mostly did the other stuff.
Now i need a 1830's series of little mermaid where Anne Lister is Prince Eric
Yes it's been a while i love when UA-camrs turning into historical accurate i haven't start my rapunzel historical dress for my doll😂 but can't wait
Amazing skills!
That is stunning!
I love the dress and like how detailed everything. I have question have seen movie sleepy hollow? If have will making costume from that movie in future?
The shape kinda reminds me of Vanessa's dress!
i did this hairstyle for my film makeup and hair course exam hehehe
You could've made this into 10 videos and I'd watch every one.
And that's what I'll be doing! Well, maybe not 10, but there will be full videos about each part of this outfit!
Your needlework is exquisite! What type of thread did you use for the hand sewing? It looks quite substantial compared to the polyester thread I own.

So fun!
This is so cute ❤ fantastic video 😊
Fork pleats or dinglehopper pleats?
Haha! YES!!
love the fork
That's absolutely beautiful how many hours that take you to make All l together❤
Thanks! I didn't fully keep track of hours this time, but I would estimate it was a bit over 100 hours combined!
SO COOL!
Gorgeous! But let's be honest, what kind of crack were they smoking in the 1830s?? 😂😂😂
Right?!?!
Great work. 👍
Amazing detailing! I have kissed someone who would have kissed someone from the 1840's.
you did a beautiful job, as usual. Although I don't find the silhouette of that era to be attractive for women.
何から何まで全てが美しい😮💕✨
Anyone else think of the step sisters from Cinderella before seeing historical Ariel? 😂 no just me 🙈
Haha! I'd believe that, it's about as crazy as they look! 😂
Not a big fan of Little Mermaid… But this dress, was so beautiful and fun, that I literally couldn’t just swipe down passed the video! 💗 ✝ 🤩 🤯 👌
Bella, I am sure I was subscribed to your channel, and suddenly I am not anymore🤔it happened to at least one more subscription of mine. I guess sometimes youtube just unsubscribes people without them knowing?
Oh, interesting....that's unfortunate to hear!
🤩✨✨✨
Fantastic Bella! A perfect antidote to woke Disney.
Pretty dress with pretty person💕
You know well but something doesn't suit you in your hairstyle. I don't want to hurt you. I find things a little inconsistent. I want you to look good. Because you are a pretty girl.💖💖💖💕💕💕💕💕
Well, that's this era of hairstyles, so I had to go with it! It's definitely crazy, but that's what's fun about it! 😂

But are you sure you won't get cancelled? You are not black, after all.
In all seriousness, you did a spectacular job on the gown. Just beautiful.
