Imagine if Disney actually had the cajones to give us a period 1830s version of The Little Mermaid WITH ALL THOSE FANTASTIC HARISTYLES. The 1830s had the weirdest silhouette imo, but you still made such a pretty dress. QvQ Definitely want a better look at that corset construction.

It could make for a fun mix of historical and Disney. That said, I absolutely admire your dedication and video quality
This is fun! Last year I designed and made a full illustration myself an 1830's dress for Ariel based on the pink gown she uses for the dinner scene! I also included the fork, it's basically a MUST HAVE reference in that hair and that time!

All that is needed is a pink/purple shell accent at the bust for a bit of color and to match the shell/rosette on Ariel's gown. Doesn't event need to be sewn on. Everything else is so perfectly done it would be the topper on an already iced cake.
I just finished my first ever corset this week, and it was a pair of 1830s corded stays - I can't believe you cut that entire process down to only a few seconds, knowing just how long it takes to do all that cording!!!

Yes, macrame cord is what the one spool of cording was. The thicker stuff I found on amazon years ago and was cording for curtains and such, but it's pretty thick, so mostly did the other stuff.
