Believe me I thought the same thing… the bar that runs across the top mounts to them, and the only holes to mount it are on the top in the current configuration. Additionally, bolt holes where they mount to the center frame don’t line up when they are flipped. I spent some good time pondering that when I was assembling it.
This orientation is how the bolt holes line up on the central frame. Additionally, the bar across the top uses holes in the headlight guards to mount. If those were flipped the holes would be on the bottom.
@@bluesky-ud9wg that’s great and all, but this is how it went together. I thought I did it wrong too the first time I assembled it but there was no other orientation where the holes line up. Would have had to drill holes to switch their sides. Could have been a fabrication error from the factory but I don’t even have it on my 4runner anymore. Appreciate the insight though.
Looks like the headlight extensions are backward. Try swapping sides. You'll have a nice contoured look.
Your brushguard headlight wrap around guards are on opposite sides. You need to flip them around to the otherside.

Thanks! Good information.
I have a WAAG brushguard. And I have no clue how to install. Bought it used with no brackets
Dude, you're headlight guards are on opposite side....

@@wilsoncook8830 I'm a Toyota MDT, you have them on the wrong side. Have you bothered to look at other images of these brush guards?

@@wilsoncook8830 may i ask why you took it off? or did you just remove the headlight covers
Real truck does not stand behind their products. And blackhorse does not have much warranty if any. Well, for $255 they do.
