This one is finally in my possession, I now have a Puyo Puyo Tsuu for every console and handheld it was released on (other than Tsuu Remix on SFC) that I own. No, no PC Engine, or Game Gear versions as I don't own them (or Wonderswan nor Neo Geo Pocket). 6 versions of the same game in all, MD, GB, SFC original version, PS1, Saturn, PS2. Remix is starting to get pricey, may have to move on it sooner than I expected, but then again I should've bought it many years ago, but something always came up. I did buy it one time off Ebay, but the guy had it listed and he didn't have it, he did have the original SFC version, so I got that instead.
It is based off the PS1 release, with higher res sprites for everything. Looks and plays well, and includes remixed and arcade music, just like the PS1 release.

The puyos and carbuncle are surprisingly well animated
I just ordered two copies of this to play linked up against my GF. Hope I can get around those JP menus.

There's PP2 for PS2? Or is it the Keitteban edition?

Not a bad port at all, barring you can't get passed having to guess which colored (or no color in this case) blocks fit to make chain combos.
Not too tough though due to patterns on the blobs, but on a small screen it can be a strain on the eyes. This one's best enjoyed with a Super Gameboy.
