" If I have to set my mind back to 1988, the thing being attractive to it is the fact that you can touch the pad and get a response! "
Man ANY computer labelled 2000 at the time would make a kid excited, so now imagine a computer enabling you to display your things ON A SCREEN. That was the future, having the possibility to draw, display and animate something on a screen and show it.

Nothing called 2000 can be anything other than cool and clearly from the future 🤣

This is not a very good format, I would move away from it, especially when reviewing an item, cause you can't see the bloody screen, maybe use it for conversations? Not trying to be mean just sharing my opinion

As an 80s kid I was into computer programming, 4 track recorders and drawing. I would have loved this. This boring nerd has no imagination.

I got this as a kid WAY after it was released. You couldn’t even find new cartridges for it. You could draw 30 frames but reuse them to create up to 99 frames of animation. It was fun though.

Knuckles the Echidna Some attempt at using it for its main purpose (animating) instead of dismissing it as rubbish would have been good.

To be fair, from 1988, that's bloody cool!
It's a drawing tablet, and you can animate things, in 1988, that's impressive. (I work as a pixel artist, so I'm totally biased)
And to be fair, that kind of bring some touch screen-ish controls, it's always interesting to have something different from just simple buttons.

Hearing those sounds at startup was like a time machine! I had this back in the 80s. It was around $30 US. It was ok, but became tedious and frustrating to the point where it eventually found a home in the back of my closet. The only thing futuristic about it was that it looked like a laptop with a Wacom tablet. (Keep in mind back in 1988 laptops wouldn't be commonplace in homes for another 10 years) other then that, I found it easier to just hand draw my animation on paper.

When I was like 10 in the mid 2000s, I regularly made flip books with the ds lite message connection thing. You could draw a picture, send it, then slightly change it. And when you had enough pictures you could scroll through the sent messages quickly and it looked animated......but maybe I was just a bored, lonely child 🙄

I liked the video but I think the only reason the video was entertaining were the jokes about how bad it was. Other than that, I still don't understand how it works, and with such a short video I didn't get to grasp your friends' personalities. It was just a quick slightly awkward video. Love your channel btw!

Honestly, this was a very poor review. Camera was concentrated on the 3 of you More so then the product itself. It took about 3 minutes before you showed another Screen of the product. I have watched your other videos and did enjoy them. Please redo this product review and actually show the product itself.
