Most people become afraid in a downturn, I welcome it. I know I’m prepared for it while my competitors are not. Some of them will lose market share, some will reduce employees, some will stop advertising, some will close down even. All of those things are good for me, because they don’t know what they don’t know.
Another great video as always! Another side of entrepreneurship to explore is startups and in particular tech startups and bringing in guests within the tech space.
Monetize fear. That is so important. Being critical of our fears and emotions is even more important.

I believe that looking at more than one source as he mentioned, is a good way to see the big picture. Then you can go from the macro down to the micro, and filter out what does and does not work for your situation.

I’m not Pat so I’m jot 100% sure but I think it’s If you have your money on the sidelines during a market crash, you are up compared to the rest of the market.
It’s about playing defense, not only play offense
Patrick you are simply the best at this format. All of these points hit home.
This guy knows what he's talking about. Intentionally leaving out important details. Makes you figure them out for yourself.
I like how he gives advice. Emphasis on taking responsibility for your own choices. Probably good advice in most cases.
Probably would give you better advice as a client.
Serious doubts his company would become insolvent even during a crash. Looks like he isn't taking stupid risks. Tells observable truths and doesn't contradict himself.
Not necessarily an endorsement. On the other hand, it would be hard to talk shit about any of the advice he gives you. You be the judge.
I also like the bigger political message of this channel.
It's inclusive. Seems like he is pushing people towards ethics in business. Or more of a message on how to be honest and successful. Also, many messages on personal responsibility. Accountability. Etc...

I learned about keeping on with what you do best regardless of the economy when I was young. I met a wild man..Vince Botta...he invented the crane that lifts small boats. He designed custom cranes...he always said.."nothing works better than a paid for crane!!
This is definitely valuetainment. All points were amazing but one hit me the most. #8 Obsess over 1 successful behaviour/action; sometimes we do so many different things, that we end up doing nothing at all in the end! haha.
