Great Video! The repeating music loop is a bit annoying though. Personally I would prefer no music so we can hear your comments as you are working through the diagnosis etc. Just my two cents. Otherwise keep up the great work!
I was only getting a flash in a V7 but my issue was that the motor was seized. Taking the motor out and forcing it to turn by hand freed it up. The whole trigger housing and motor assembly appeared to be factory new so I believe it was a factory error/fault.
Well, at least now i know how to take it apart. Not too keen on desoldering (more like de-baking) the PCB from the 4 motor prongs though.. Probably gonna look for a replacement motor unit.
I just had my circuit board fail, so many people are having issues with the trigger and circuit boards on Dysons, everywhere I look I can't find replacement circuit boards, mine is a V11 model, only 2 years old. Dyson sucks.
Unfortunately, I don't have a good electronic board to be able to see exactly which components are in the affected area so that I can figure out what was the cause of the problem. As soon as I have a good board, I will come back with an answer.
@@techfixPOV The transistor-sized package was a BC734. The other components were mostly ceramic caps, which can sometimes go out with a bang (literally)

Thank you! I will consider your opinion about the background music.
I loved it - thought it was Hendrix! It makes boring electronics sexy.

This is a gem of a channel 😮
Thank You!

What would have caused this to happen?

What Voltage you inject in these case with a 24V Unit ?
In this case I applied 3 volts and 3 amps.
