Thank you and Dan for the continued support. Making that trip all the way up from Tennessee means a lot to all of us! And shout out to all the anglers who are making all this possible. None of this happens with the anglers.
@@onlinecatfishingtournament4990 were can i find info on these tournaments i do not think i will make any this year but i could plan my vacation around them next year.
Great Video! Congrats to Daniel and the GOLLY WHOPPER RODS!!! Justin you are never going to live this down- LOL!! Never did hear what bait Daniel was using??
Ah-HA!!!!!! GET IT ON A T-SHIRT! History made, we never thought he'd say it. 12:28 - "This is actually pretty fun catching these CHANNEL CATS when the action is as good as it is"
Thanks for taking us along would have liked to seen you win but atleast #1 came back home to TN. As much crap as you give Danial when your fishing together you will never live this down but thats what a fishing buddy or hunting buddy is for it's not alway about catching fish or getting a wall hanger buck but time spent together building a friendship
man to be able to be able to pull the fish you guys pull on virgin water is amazing great job to you and a heck of a job to Daniel, you guys killed it. im for sure getting a golly whopper rod asap
The bridge at Sandusky Bay is a huge channel cat location. Where the old bridge and current bridge are. I personally use Cherry Kool aid hot dogs with garlic. It's like Chocolate cake to a fat kid.
Birds 😂!!!! Justin you might not have won the tournament. But man you are a great entertainer!!! Congratulations Daniel. Looking forward to seeing his footage on his channel. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I fish that bridge every weekend. Me and everyone eles who fishes there uses jumbo shell on shrimp. I got a 20 pounder and two 15 pounders last weekend.
Well if you couldn't win I'm glad dan did , at least tow southerner boys could show them that we can fish for more than just blues . Thanks for bringing us along.
Congrats Dan on the win. Justin, those Channel Cats said they were going to get even with you for hating them so much for so many years. I guess they did LoL!!
I am commenting at the beginning . I sure want to see you winn this thing. You just said it's picking up so good luck be safe, and win this thing. Cheers.😊
Here in Ohio where Sandusky Bay is located, there are no “y’all’s”. Good job catching that mob of cats! Lots of cars and kittens in Sandusky Bay Tight lines!
Hey Captain. Here’s a tip in the bait department you may or may not know about… FRIED chicken skin next to some uncooked chicken is fantastic channel cat bait. I’ve even caught bass on it. Strippers and large mouth off the bottom using it.
Way to go Justin in fishing the Sandusky tournament. Those channel cats up here are tough. Hopefully we will see you back here sometime for another Blue Cat tournament on Hoover.
I have watched you for years now. I have learned so much from your videos. If you're ever in Pennsylvania near Erie, there's a lake called pymatuning. It's got some flathead. But this year along I have caught about 4 channel catfish over 10 pounds. It would be great to see you around my area.
I made my own dragging sinkers out of 3/8 tubing/metal rod/wooden dowel and small screw in circle eyelets, 2 4oz and 2 5oz, gunna give it a try tommaroe
Grocery store bait's, channel cats, the audio mishap, the excitement of catching channel cats, Daniel whoopin on ya, and claiming a pb.. Who's channel is this😂 good stuff though. Stay safe
Nice work guys! The action was very cool! I always wonder when you go on these road trips if the baby chaeta is getting in trouble at your parents house! lol
Being in Ohio I use chicken eve for flats the few places we have them …. Minced garlic the pre done stuff in ur chicken nite or two before is the go too
Enjoyed your (tournament) video, as always. I was surprised you used such small chunks of chicken for bait. On your videos when you're using cut bait back home, you use some really big skip jack heads and body chunks and catch bigger fish. Also, the one shot you showed of your shrimp you were using, the shrimp was small and too clean. Was it raw? Thanks again for the video.
I often use bigger baits at home because I’m going after huge blues and flatheads. The bigger channel cats on Sandusky are only 15-20lbs with an occasional fish bigger than that. The shrimp was raw frozen shrimp from Walmart
Great video as usual Justin. Appreciate all your hard work. Just wondering what your ending total inches was and what place you finished in. I was cheering for you the whole way.
Hey regardless of the outcome of not winning. If u don’t get the lines wet then u never gave it a shot. U can’t win if u don’t try. Fishing is fishing… sometimes it’s good sometimes it ain’t better luck on your next tournament
Have you ever fished Bull Shoals or Norfork Lakes in Northern Arkansas? When you use chicken breast for bait, is there any preparation to them or just buy, cut chunks and fish? Thanks, love the channel
I've lived up by Sandusky bay my whole life. Used chicken breast and caught my PB, my wife's, my brother's and my brother in law. If I could figure out how to upload a picture I would. 36, 35x2, 34 and 31 inches
Thanks Justin great video. I read that Daniel was using different bait, but what else was he doing differently? Was he shallow? Did he find a particular structure? Was he just lucky to get 5 33 to 34 inch fish.?
Thank you and Dan for the continued support. Making that trip all the way up from Tennessee means a lot to all of us! And shout out to all the anglers who are making all this possible. None of this happens with the anglers.
@akilla4reala669 This trail is specifically Kayak Catfishing only (Canoes are legal too).

I used to walleye fish there. Sandusky, Port Clinton.
What is the entry fee cost?

When Dan starts talking smack about winning tell him it was just a channel cat turny 😂😂
Great Video! Congrats to Daniel and the GOLLY WHOPPER RODS!!! Justin you are never going to live this down- LOL!! Never did hear what bait Daniel was using??

Haha! I should have edited that statement out. I’ll never live it down lol
Occasionally a great fun seeing channel cats in action. Superb!

You and Daniel are the Boss of catfishing!! I wish you both continued growth and success with your businesses and channels.
Glad you had a better tournament day than practice. I’m from Sandusky, great video!!
man to be able to be able to pull the fish you guys pull on virgin water is amazing great job to you and a heck of a job to Daniel, you guys killed it. im for sure getting a golly whopper rod asap

Good ole Southern boy. Love your content but mostly your humility. Keep ‘‘em coming
Great video Justin congratulations Daniel. That’s the way to rep them Tennessee boys.
Hey man just gotta say love the videos you get crazy fish, but just the happiness you get from it is contagious, you can tell you love the sport!
The bridge at Sandusky Bay is a huge channel cat location. Where the old bridge and current bridge are. I personally use Cherry Kool aid hot dogs with garlic. It's like Chocolate cake to a fat kid.
I am so glad someone can be called king of the channel cats for the rest of this channels existence.
I was curious about the fishing in the area last time I was at Cedar Point. Now I know. Thanks Justin!
He won cuz you finally rooted for your buddy 😂 killer video man. Maybe next year I'll join yall
Tourneys r tough. A whole lot of good fisherman out there. Nice job.
When the bite is on in the bay it is a lot of fun. Great place to take kids.
Birds 😂!!!!
Justin you might not have won the tournament. But man you are a great entertainer!!! Congratulations Daniel. Looking forward to seeing his footage on his channel. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Man when you said “quality channel cat, if such a thing exists” I spit ma beer out too funny man, good catching stay safe on the water!!
Love catfishing off my kayak up there! Trying to break my personal best of 16 pounds there!
You are the most amazing and awesome man who has ever lived. Just my opinion. Justin, in my world, you're always the winner. Tell momma J hello.
All Daniel needed was a channel cat tournament. The only thing you’ve talked more smack on than Daniel is channel cats
Dang you were right in my backyard. Glad you enjoyed your time up here.
Love the live tourneys J! 👍🏻
I fish that bridge every weekend. Me and everyone eles who fishes there uses jumbo shell on shrimp. I got a 20 pounder and two 15 pounders last weekend.
Bud, if you’d had natural bait for those older channels, you would’ve killed it!!
I’ve been there many times…..Sandusky Bay is an awesome channel cat fishery
Well if you couldn't win I'm glad dan did , at least tow southerner boys could show them that we can fish for more than just blues . Thanks for bringing us along.
Congrats, Daniel!
Hey Justin, good effort, been having fun watching your adventures in Ohio, keep them hooks wet!!!
Awesome catch and video! GL Justin
Congrats Dan on the win. Justin, those Channel Cats said they were going to get even with you for hating them so much for so many years. I guess they did LoL!!

Here in Ohio where Sandusky Bay is located, there are no “y’all’s”.
Good job catching that mob of cats!
Lots of cars and kittens in Sandusky Bay
Tight lines!
I am watching from Elmira NY you should use spinning rods for catfish that is what I use in the Chemung river
Great to see you on my home grounds! This time of year the big ones are in the rocks along the railroad Bridge spawning
Congrats Daniel! I've bought a couple rod/reel combos from him along with a lot of other tackle. He's very helpful. Great video as always Justin!
Great video Justin, congrats to Daniel
Good job lot of fun to watch
Love it up there when there hot there hot. Shrimp works closer to shore for me
Hey Captain. Here’s a tip in the bait department you may or may not know about… FRIED chicken skin next to some uncooked chicken is fantastic channel cat bait. I’ve even caught bass on it. Strippers and large mouth off the bottom using it.
Looked like a good time. Way to go.
Way to go Justin in fishing the Sandusky tournament. Those channel cats up here are tough. Hopefully we will see you back here sometime for another Blue Cat tournament on Hoover.

I swear there better not be a kool-aid chicken video in your future 😂
Why it works.
Nothing wrong wigh having multiple different baits out.
I have watched you for years now. I have learned so much from your videos. If you're ever in Pennsylvania near Erie, there's a lake called pymatuning. It's got some flathead. But this year along I have caught about 4 channel catfish over 10 pounds. It would be great to see you around my area.

Your a hell of a fisherman bro
Not far from where I live. There are a lot of 20 lbs channels in the bay. Congrats to Daniel!
First video watched on brand new phone.... Perfect.....
I made my own dragging sinkers out of 3/8 tubing/metal rod/wooden dowel and small screw in circle eyelets, 2 4oz and 2 5oz, gunna give it a try tommaroe
The bridge behind you 5years ago I caught a 39lb blue!!
My son just watched and said you were the voice on King of the Hill cartoon. Lol
Great video! Love your content, keep it up. Would love to see you try Ladue reservoir in Ohio
Definitely wished I’d fished that tournament
Justin try running no battery with an external battery. Heat in a GoPro is from the lithium battery discharge
I live in Cleveland, OH and shrimp is one of the top baits for cats here I let them sit in the sun for a day to get some funk lol
Great video! What was Daniels bait he used?
He used frozen shad and frozen skipjack
Just wanted to I love the videos keep up the good videos
I never thought I would see the day when you would target channel cats 😂
I think Justin and the Channel Cats had a break through 🤯
Grocery store bait's, channel cats, the audio mishap, the excitement of catching channel cats, Daniel whoopin on ya, and claiming a pb.. Who's channel is this😂 good stuff though. Stay safe
Nice work guys! The action was very cool! I always wonder when you go on these road trips if the baby chaeta is getting in trouble at your parents house! lol

Have you ever fished Bull Shoals or Norfork Lakes in Northern Arkansas? When you use chicken breast for bait, is there any preparation to them or just buy, cut chunks and fish? Thanks, love the channel
Never fished there. Chicken was just plain chunks
I've lived up by Sandusky bay my whole life. Used chicken breast and caught my PB, my wife's, my brother's and my brother in law. If I could figure out how to upload a picture I would. 36, 35x2, 34 and 31 inches
just fyi Justin, they catch 40+ lb channel cats at Lockport, Manitoba, Canada.
Thanks Justin great video. I read that Daniel was using different bait, but what else was he doing differently? Was he shallow? Did he find a particular structure? Was he just lucky to get 5 33 to 34 inch fish.?
He was fishing a shallow rock pile
You have got to win the tournament
You should trash and garlic, chicken, or strawberry and garlic, chicken and anise flavor or anise oil soak it overnight
Nice! Has that stinger fly produced a fish yet?
Big channels up there my buddies son got a 31 lber
I’m only about 1.5 hours away. I need to get out there.
