Btw., listen to it again and listen very carefully to the second "Are you ready??" in the heavy breakdown... you might be surprised 😉 You could try "We got the moves" from Electric Callboy, it sounds somewhat similar. But they go more ridiculous and more hard in that piece... no, they go ridiculously hard in that 🤣 I saw you did "Pa Pa Ya!" from BABYMETAL a few months ago, but you have a LOT more to discover from them! If you want to watch and listen to a rather early masterpiece of BABYMETAL live, try "Road of Resistance - Live in Japan (OFFICIAL)" from 2015 (!). You will NOT be disappointed, I promise!
Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. There were many mosh / circle pits over there 🤣. The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. On this 50:50 collaboration basis, that was great, too. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. EC boys can join BM concerts and BM girls can show up in EC's worldwide 😍 Is it just a coincidence that the two bands are to perform on the same days in the same places in several European festivals in June ? (Just FYI, BABYMETAL also performed "Brand New Day" with Scott and Tim from POLYPHIA in the festival. That was beautiful and soothing.)
Welcome back to BabyMetal's journey, it's been a while 🦊🤘🔥 I don't remember if the one on the right is the same guy who did previous reaction but it's always nice to see more people coming back to hear more of this amazing group, if I'm not mistaken you didn't like so much your first experience with BM, just remember although they got a lot of songs pure for fun and dance they also got songs with deep meaning and blaster sound especially when performing live with the backing band called Kami Band, a great example of that is their latest album with more mature sound. A week ago they played this song at FOX_FEST Festival in Japan along with Electric Callboy, everyone went bonkers with this awesome collab, pretty sure it's gonna be the hit of this summer. Hopefully they will play this at Download Festival too or any other festival. Polyphia were also there playing a set and the guitarists Tim Henson and Scott Le Page played together with BM the song Brand New Day, they're special guest in the album version, they were looking for this since a very long time ago and also fans waited for this. For something completely different try 'Monochrome' live at the PIA MM Arena Clear Night, You have loads more to discover from BABYMETAL and, from what you said, from Electric Callboy. This is a 50:50 collaboration, but is probably more in the EC style.
Electric Callboy are around since 2010. They changed their clean vocalist to Nico in 2020 and since then the started to grow. And most their video are now more goofy, despite also have some more serious songs, as in the pre Nico era. A good start would be Hypa, Hypa, the first success with Nico, and "We got the moves" their most viewed video.
Don't start counting the Tas, they have between 3 to 5 int zhe Song. But it will work as an Eyexatcher for both bands. As these Collaborations work. Babymetal Fans will get intetested in Electric Callboy and Ekectric Callboy Fans will look into Babymetal. Well it worked great since both Production sides had to really work wirh each other since thete are always a number of points where your Culture workd differently from zhe other side.
