The guy you mentioned is Yusuke Yamasaki, a japanese actor & voice actor living in Germany. He also appeared in Electric Callboys video MC Thunder II (- Dancing like a Ninja).

Welcome back to BabyMetal's journey 🦊🤘🔥
Thanks for coming back with this suggestion and the shout-out.
They already hit 5M views with this collab and song of the year and it keeps growing up non stop.🚀
Last weekend they played this song at FOX_FEST Festival in Japan along with Electric Callboy, everyone went bonkers with this awesome collab, pretty sure it's gonna be the hit of this summer.
Hopefully they will play this at Download Festival too or any other festival.
Polyphia were also there playing a set and the guitarists Tim Henson and Scott Le Page played together with BM Brand New Day, they're special guest in the album version, they were looking for this since a very long time ago and also fans waited for this.
Btw the Japanese actor you were talking about is probably a reference to Japanese side of this collab (probably the producer but it also could be higher rank above him), prior to the song they released a tease showing him in this meeting like a boss and saying some lines such "This is gonna be sick" and "The Fox God has spoken", it's on the Shorts section in the official iirc.
Next suggestion to enjoy another super collab they did recently:
    - F.Hero x Bodyslam x BabyMetal - Leave It All Behind official MV.
Hope to see you around with more BM songs.
    See you next time 🦊🤘🐭

Nice reaction. They blended so well together you might think this was just one band. But blending music genres is what these two groups do best. And oddly enough from what I've been told both of them started in 2010. Things that make you go Hmmm. And I'm beginning to think that if Babymetal does Fox-Fest again next year the line up might made of everyone they've done collaborations with. And considering the growing list of artists. The next Fox_fest is going to be outrageous. When Babymetal was asked who they wanted to collaborate with next. Su-metal said Slipnot. They know Slipnot making this not so far fetch. Su said she wanted to headbang with them on stage. She was really pumped up about it too. Corey Taylor from Slipnot son is a big Babymetal fan. And they appeared in the Corey Taylor Can't Be Stopped music video. The Foxhole is deep and full of surprises. Now cue the new party music. RATATATA

Nice reaction. Always a pleasure to find new Electric Callboy reactors. I hope you consider reacting to more Electric Callboy songs. 😄🙃
I made it my little 'mission' to ease reactors into the lore of EC a bit. So, if you want to take a deeper look at what EC have done so far, you will have to catch up to 14 years of band history. If you want a short synopsis of their career, here are some of the bullet points (centering more around the bands background): [‼Attention: Wall of text/Info dump ahead‼]
💖The band was founded in 2010 as Eskimo Callboy by six guys from Castrop-Rauxel a former coal mining city in the eastern part of the Ruhr Area within the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany
💙Name change in 2022 to Electric Callboy - they explain the reasons in two videos on their UA-cam page.
💛In 2020 their singer Sebastian 'Sushi' Biesler left the band to found his new project 'Ghostkid' and was replaced by Nico Sallach a longtime friend of the band whose own Band (To The Rats And Wolfs) was newly disbanded at the time.
💜The introduction single for Nico 'Hypa Hypa' was also the international breakthrough for the band. Since then they had headline tours in Europe, USA (sold out) and Australia (sold out). Electric Callboy in its current manifestation is an absolute LIVE-Band! They truly shine on the stage - give it a try and watch a live concert. Like this one from 2022, they played in a relatively small venue, a mix of old (Sushi) and new (Nico) Songs: ua-cam.com/video/5BPCHuHZuqc/v-deo.html Live footage of Sushi-era EC is way rarer, because… well, let's put it diplomatically: sometimes his signature intensity was a bit much and tampered with the live quality.
❤They never stuck to one genre and were counted as Metalcore, Trancecore, Post-Hardcore, Electronic Rock… and recently the internet dubbed them Partycore. They combine metal/metalcore with influences from EDM/Techno, Pop and frankly nearly every imaginable genre of music. The general sound changed somewhat with the joining of Nico, as his clean rock, almost pop-sounding voice is distinctly different to Sushi's emo/punk-rock voice. With Sushi EC sounded rougher and a little harder in general, but I think this sound isn't lost. If you listen to the new songs in a live setting, it will be evident that even the songs of Tekkno sound way harder if the guys play them live on stage - prime example would be Spaceman.
The guys always said they would make music which suites their personal mood at the time of writing and since 2020 and the pandemic and all the restriction that came with it, they made mainly fun/comedic music as a kind of therapy for them and their audience. Nevertheless, their catalog includes some really divers sounds; the funny ones are easy to find and most commenters or a quick YT search will suggest them anyways, so I will list some of the more serious songs for you in no particular, definitely not complete order:
    🔹My Own Summer 🔹Best Day ft. Sido 🔹Back in the Bizz 🔹Crystals (the only Song I really like better with Sushi's Voice) 🔹Rehab 🔹VIP 🔹The Scene ft. Fronz 🔹Shallows (also a good Sushi-Song) 🔹Supernova 🔹Made by America 🔹Hate/Love 🔹Prism 🔹Mindreader 🔹Parasite 🔹Neon
Generally speaking, you can't go wrong with any EC song, there are very few that aren’t killer and non that are bad.
    Greetings from Germany 🤘🔥🖖
    Some additional Information
    _The current members are:_
    ▪ Kevin Ratajczak: shouter, text writer, supporting clean vocals/harmonies, keyboards/synthesizers, producer (2010- present) - and yes big guy, 6'4"
    ▪ Nico Sallach: clean vocals, text writer, supporting shouter (2020-present) - he is 5'7"
    ▪ Daniel 'Danskimo' Haniß: lead guitar, composer, producer (2010-present)
    ▪ Pascal Schillo: rhythm guitar, backing vocals, arrangement, videography (2010-present)
    ▪ Daniel Klossek: bass guitar, backing vocals (2010-present)
    ▪ David(-Karl) Friedrich: drums (2012-present)
    _Past members:_
    ▪ Sebstian 'Sushi' Biesler: clean vocals, first shouter, text writer (2010-2020; left after let's say 'creative differences' to pursue his solo carrier with his new project 'Ghostkid')
    ▪ Michael 'Micha' Malitzki: drums (2010-2012; left because of personal reasons; he subbed in 2022 for the band as David Friedrich was absent and on a humanitarian mission on the Polish-Ukrainian border)
They have six studio albums: 🔹Bury Me in Vegas (2012) 🔹We Are the Mess (2014) 🔹Crystals (2015) 🔹The Scene (2017) 🔹Rehab (2019) 🔹Tekkno (2022) 🔹and start of 2024 they announced that the work on a new album has officially started
    two EPs: 🔹Eskimo Callboy (2010) 🔹MMXX (2020)
and two live albums: 🔹The Scene - Live in Cologne (2018) 🔹HYPA HYPA Tour - Live in Ludwigsburg 2022 (2023)
one stand-alone single: 🔹Everytime We Touch (TEKKNO Version) (2023)
🎶 If you want the deep deep-dive into EC-world I would recommend the 'Making of…'-videos and the Tour Vlogs on their own YT channel or on TankTheTech's channel. Tank is a professional roadie, who turned reactor during the pandemic. He contacted the band for some interviews and they became friends, it grew to the point that he was their tour manager on the North America tour last year and since this year is their assistant TM globally…
🚩 Links to a host of EC-related UA-cam videos can be found on my channel, there are some playlists which will shorten the search (hopefully).

I find it a bit surprising that you found it surprising that BabyMetal is singing over some pop music. They are pop singers. The surprise is that they are usually singing over metal. That is the gimmick they use , and it is an awesome gimmick.

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. On this 50:50 collaboration basis, that was great, too. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. EC boys can join BM concerts and BM girls can show up in EC's worldwide 😍
Is it just a coincidence that the two bands are to perform on the same days in the same places in several European festivals in June ?

NGL - the 3rd chorus 'drop' has more of an impact on me than the EC part you was referring to ( BABYMETAL's Ratatata is kawaii ).
Su and Nico's voices go soooo well together.

Thanks for the reaction. It isn't really strange to see BABYMETAL doing pop. Some of their own songs are fairly pop heavy, and other songs are more metal. And of course, they all started out in J-Pop.

Not sure a whom you are referring. But the Japanes actor is Yusuke yamasaki which mainly works in Germany. I guess is a voice over in a computer game. Genji or something like that. The video was also shot in Germany. Furthermore he is in a another EC video , MC Thunder II (Dancing like a ninja).

This is orobably Kobametal, the nanager of Babymetal. Kobametal is now a bit older and he looks slightly like Koba looked 10 years ago. We have to wait what the Backstory will be. A Making of is in the works . But I think this will be a naking of for us fans, not a sales pitch for what this really is a sales pitch for their new Workflow. But Koba had enough fights with Amuse thatvyou can construct many things. He was the Metalhead in the company, that was more or less in a panic since he was pushed to an early retirement plan. He was one of their best managers but he was suddenly the direktor of their Kindergarten Sakura Gakuin. In a way they were right ,he was by far their best handler zo convince 10 to 15 year old idols to do what they wanted. And in a way it was for their best. Nowhere in the japanese Entertainment Industry dud they they have a better chance to make liveable wages with their qualification. But he had his own ideas. He saw big problems in the japanese Metal industry. In his opinion it was to make dominated and overaged. The groups and the fans got older and older. So he wanted to do something different. A young female voice would be able to grow through everything what instruments could throw at her. He already had a suitable voice. He would only need to build a group around her and interest them in metal. And he needed the permisdion by Amuse. Now we are 10 years further diwn the line. We see the New Babymetal two of the three girls he had chosen abd now ready for their own future. They have grown in age and exoerience, less in size. Su us now in her prime, she can go through anything like Koba predicted. They had a decent career. They grew in the metal industry. They are the International most successful japanese Band. But what they have is slightly different than what Koba wanted. While they were not the Trailblazer Koba wanted they demonstrated that there is Money to earn in metal abd there are many female Bands. They have something different to sell. Their production pipeline and their services. The production pipeline that they used to create a song with over 5 Million Accesses within a week.
