- Hello! In today's video, I'm taking a look at the CANVAS lamp which has 3 light settings and an adjustable arm to film at any angle! I've been really curious to try this for my UA-cam videos - Have you tried this lamp in your studio yet?

I love how you set it up on your window sill so you can save your desk space. I might need to look into that! I love my Canvas lamp too, but the wooden base takes up a lot of space on my desk!

Great idea to attach the Canvas lamp to your window ledge. I find that the lamp bounces while I’m working when it’s sitting on my desk. I was hoping that the weighted base would prevent this.

Thank you for reaching out about this! At the moment, it cannot be used as a floor mount...yet!
We hope to release something like this in the future, and many other products as well!
here are dimensions of the Canvas lamp that is intended for a desk!
The wood base is 8” in diameter and about 1.5” thick. Our wood bases weigh around 5 pounds.
Arms are both about 13”
The ring light is about 6” in diameter.
We recommend having the lamp/phone about 20” above the surface of your work for best results, and at that height, you should be able to film about a 2’ square area of workspace.

I saw another video where she said it wouldn’t work well for flat lays, (at the angle she had it looked odd) but however you had it seems like it would work great! :)
Yes, it is working well for me! It’s set up directly overhead for flat lays, and I can get side angles too. The neck on it is really flexible. :)

I don't record videos. Can this lamp function as a task light for watercolor painting? If not what would you recommend. Thank you so much.
hi - you can definitely use it for any tasks. the best light for painting is natural light, so I'd keep it on that setting if you're not already by natural sunlight. :) have fun!!
I also just set up my Canvas light and looking forward to using it as a task light for painting, but having a problem with the arm staying in place when the phone is not attached (it springs back upright without the weight of the phone)? I would like to be able to use my phone and the 'task' light at the same time. I've reached out to the company, but haven't gotten a reply yet.
@@karenyoung7809 Mine does not spring back so it's good you reached out to the company. They respond quickly to questions. I only use mine for a task light and absolutely LOVE it! So much better than what I was previously using.
