1. Watch all the footage 2. If the music is critical, select the music before the edit 3. Change the visual every 4 to 6 seconds 4. Use the cuts and transitions sparingly and intentionally 5. Use text to your advantage 6. Select the right music at the end (if it is background music and less critical) Thanks InVideo, keep up the good work!
Thank you for the insightful and useful information; From your education, I see I need to find ways to break a long video into many scenes and do better at adding other segments.. I may also need to understand how to possibly incorporate voice overs across the different segments... all in all... much better planning before I film and then bring the segments together. Thanks again for your valuable time and insights..
We are glad we could help here in the teeny tiny way we could Norm :) If you want to continue learning from the InVideo team as well as 30K other marketers and creators like you then our Facebook community could be a great place to start: facebook.com/groups/invideo.io/
Could you create a video where we can see over the shoulder, how you do the edit in real time. That would be great and you may be able even to create a playlist out of that. Keep up the good work!
We have a new video on our channel where we show you the entire screen recording for how we edited a promo video on InVideo: ua-cam.com/video/LXnLe_yPPjM/v-deo.html
Great video. Thank you. Keep up the great work. P.S. Can you provide us with more videos that deal exclusively with voice over and synchronisation and audio and how to use them effectively.
Hi Efrain, we don't do auto-syncing at the moment since it's not possible for us to provide the flexibility we do with each scene and element whilst also automating things like these. Not saying we are not on it- just that this is a difficult problem to solve for a platform like ours and will need some time. You can however add/record your VO or use the automated TEXT TO SPEECH option to manually go and add a VO to all of your scenes for now.
I paid for plus, but why does my setup look COMPLETELY different than yours? Is this the studio? I don't understand, I don't have the options shown here
