oh my gosh you are the first person who said "do the consistency that works for you" It's such relief because I absolutely cannot post 3 times a day due to the nature of my niche
I started posting about a week ago and 3 times a day and tiktok doesnt push my content at all anymore.. I feel like they want me to shut up lol
Mistakes:
#1 Posting your videos with a watermark
#2 Not being intentional with your hooks
#3 Not posting consistently
#4 Using irrelevant hashtags
#5 Putting the text either too high or too low
#6 Deleting your videos
#7 Not looking at your analytics

im glad consistency isnt defined as daily. for an illustrator like me, theres no way id be able to have a 9-5 and also fit in drawing for several hours, daily video editing, brainstorming, and my normal life obligations without burnout out on art completely. 3-4 days sounds hard but much more manageable

So true about hashtags...I do kpop content...so just doing a standard #fyp isn't as effective to push my content vs #fypkpop...it has made a huge difference.

Thank you for the tips. This is really useful. I definitely make some of those mistakes. Not the giving up one, though. Videos really do blow up randomly in between and there are no deadlines that could work with that.
Your videos are so good, I love the background yoir room has.
I watched the whole thing. Very useful. I particularly like the tip about cutting out anything extraneous at the beginning and even possibly the start of the first word. I’m always wondering if I should leave in awkward little stuff at the beginning, but now you’ve confirmed that I l need to trim as much as possible from the front. I also like the idea of posting for my long-term goal, what I want to be overall. And I like the idea of repeating something that has worked. I have a TikTok video about a Strawberry Frappuccino that has 2.4 million views. I should be doing more coffee reviews or something to try to repeat that success.

I just started my TikTok account on top of those existing social media sites (i.e.: FB, IG, etc.).
I decided to come up with a new content creation strategy for my TikTok account, as I would like to set them apart to give my followers a new viewing experience and not having to see the duplicating contents which they would see on FB, IG, etc.

I have an account that is a few weeks old with 14 uploads and 37 followers. I'm stuck at around 250 views from the FYP for each upload. I'm trying to be in the art niche, but I think the algorithm is really confused about my niche. Should I start over and try to optimize the SEO better?
I post 3-5 short form videos daily on all the platforms. Because it's car content I can keep this consistency
is the stop deleting videos point also relevant for Instagram? Because we've niched down a little bit more recently and have some Reels that we just don't like anymore, so we started to slowly delete a Reel every 2-3 days. Is this bad too or doesnt it make a difference on Instagram?
What do you think about posting Sam’e content on different platforms? Should I post the video on different days or on the same day? Should I make vids shorter for certain platforms? I’m struggling with IG where TT is high in followers and FB is growing rapidly

So what if my tik tok blew up but based off a video that I randomly posted for no reason and now that’s all they want to see but it’s not my goal? Idk how to build my engagement around the audience I want to have and not the audience I do have.

Yes there are ways. I would say that it depends on the source content though. If the video is yours I believe there is even a clip function? Check it out and report back
Yeah in a video editor you just change the sequence settings to 1080 x 1920 for your clip and then scale up the clip and change the position so you’re within the frame.
What do you do if TikTok takes your sound away if you have appealed and it’s still a no? Do you delete it then?
She said to never delete videos. The CEO of TT had sound removed from a video but he kept it up.

Why is it called the “Millennial Pause” ? I’m a Millennial and me and my creator colleagues apply this technique regularly. It Just feels like everyone is hoping on the “Slander Millennial’s“ train as Tik Tok became popular. Millennial’s aren’t even that old.
I heard its because Millennials grew up using digital cameras / early cell phones so they would have to "pause" and make sure it was recording.
I'm Gen X. The pause would be more likely due to 'WTF am I doing?!'

But I would « disagree » with TikTok not pushing content if you’re not active
I have an account that is on the sims 4 and I was very consistent for months I went on two long breaks of 2-3 months and each time when I started posting again my content was still pushed out! Not all of it BUT most of my videos now take weeks pick up anyways so idk it seems to be working for me 😅🥲 it’s a a very slow growth but that works for me! After my first break I posted a video that at first got 400 views or so and now it’s at 300k. Took a break again and posted my first video that is longer than 4 minutes AND vertical it’s now at 29k which for me is a lot cause I on average get at 5-10k
I think if you’re still engaging in the community within your niche and have ever green content TikTok will still push out your content.
That’s just my 2 cents on that
