I've seen a lot of videos that use the zoom in/out function excessively - as if trying to emphasize the beginning or the ending of every sentence. Sometimes several times in one sentence. Extremely visually annoying and distracting.

We've seen this too- the trick is to match the zoom-in zoom outs with the script + use them with other mechanisms like cutting to B-rolls or to another camera angle.

The audio in the video you’re criticizing is 10x better. Also, quick cuts can make a video nauseating-too many editors blindly follow some 3-6 second rule without considering the overall effect. Rhythm and timing matter when editing.

You can simply crop your frame to a tighter shot and then cut back to a longer shot to naturally create the zoom in and out effect.

What did I miss? I only noted 6 x recommendations / mistakes identified. Can anyone tell me what I missed?
1. Have a script
2. Have a solid intro
3. Change the screen every 3-6 seconds
4. Use the right kind of music (including SFX)
5. Get feedack
6. Conclude to refer to another video
