Thanks Andrew! I can't wait until the spring so we can start going into the local forests and quarrys. Forest trails are where these trucks excell at 👍
This was really cool Alvarez! I quite fancy trying this, never had an RC vehicle before look forward to more. Great video thanks for sharing. Stay safe Ben
@@Lappiedawgie Yes! these are our first trail/crawlers too. We always bashed monster trucks and buggies but that can limit where you are able to run them. These trucks you can just take them anywhere on local walks and the run times are awesome, pushing nearly 2 hours on a pack!
@@AlvarezAzel I've been racing buggies at a local carpet racing club recently, before that just bashing. Got myself a 1/18 scale mini crawler for playing with at home and needed to try a big one because it's too fun
Thanks! The wheels on the KR are TREAL 1.9" 8-Hole Aluminum Beadlock Wheels (Ebay), tires are the stock Element 1.55 stretched over the 1.9 wheels. For the TR its using the stock KR 1.55 wheels but painted silver with the stock tires.
@@TheForkzman Haha let's hope not, I had a few real life issues to overcome and in the mean time I ended up investing more time into RC cars and mountain biking to encourage me to get out more. Things have improved and I have began taking an interest in diecast cars again :)
@@AlvarezAzel you seem to know what you are doing so I have a question I can't seem to find the answer to. If I put a Hobbywing 1080 ESC on mine will I be okay to go in some water? And will it work fine with just the HW 1080 or are other parts needed? Kinda new to the hobby lol 😆
@@Evan92211 Hey. Yeah you would be fine for going through water with a 1080 fitted. The esc is pretty much a plug and play too. However depending on which battery connectors you use you may have to solder on some other ones. The 1080 also comes packed with a program card so you can fine tune how it handles. I set it up for fwd/rev without brake. Drag brake set to 80%. Rev speed 25%. Works like a treat on the stock reedy motor. Lasted around 1hr30m on a 3300mah 2s lipo the other day too.
Thanks 😊 Absolutely! They will fit any current enduro chassis. Intact they will fit the trailrunner better as it has a shorter wheel base. The rear wheels will sit more central in the rear wells where as with the knightrunner they sit a little further back in the rear wells. They come in clear uncut polycarbonate. I spray painted both sides of them after removing the protective film.
Still running the stock trans in both of them. Haven't had any issues with them so far. However if they ever break I will replace with the machined replacements.
@@AlvarezAzel awsome thankyou man i just orderd the knight runner and have a fusion to put into it but wasnt sure if i should wait to install fusion till i could get the upgrade gearsbut seeing the way yours handles and hearing its stock n holding up well i think ill install the fusion b4 i even drive it lol
@@timmerz8569 Nice! A fusion will go great in this truck. I have had no issues with the Axe system in mine. It runs really smoothly and it's done about 10 hours of trail and rock crawling time in it. The main upgrades I'd recommend is a faster stronger servo (ecoboost from banggood in mine) and some front and rear brass axle weights. I have also since converted the front IFS into a solid axle but that's by choice as I wanted more performance in rock crawling.
Parts literally fly off this truck going down the trail. It looks good, but buyer beware. Don at Associated support did not honor warrenty. He was rude then lied and said I cursed him out so he would have a excuse to hang up on me. So no help from Associated.
Great local spot for RC rock climbing. Looks like fun. I enjoyed watching. From Switzerland - Andrew 🍁👍
Thanks Andrew!

Great rigs! I love my KRunner!
Good choice! The Element brand trucks are awesome! I own a Sendero, myself.
great to see you back on the tube!!!
Thanks bud! It's good to be back doing something a little different.
that was relaxing, cheers. The night runner looks looks really good.

Thanks Ben, totally have more videos planned for this series :)
I just ordered a trailrunner, my first 1/10th crawler
Great choice 👍

I can`t fault Element rigs tbh, I`ve been running my Sendero HD for months now. Very upgradeable as well.
Indeed. I own 3 now one is getting converted into a baja truck, there's so many options for them.
Great vdeo you have. May ask , what's the dfference spec wise and in performance between the trail runner and the knght runner in stock form.
Nice video! What wheels and tires are you running? I like the looks of them.
Thanks!

Where are the wheel fenders from? Much needed lol
On the knightrunner. That's simply just automotive vinyl wrap cut to shape and applied using a hairdryer.

@@AlvarezAzel awesome! Thanks a bunch for the info!! Glad I found your channel, great vids for sure 🙌
Wich one is better? The black one or the white one? I your opinion?
I'd prefer the Knightrunner, the longer wheelbase makes it more stable on climbing. Also the body looks way better than the Trailrunners.
Hey man loved this vid, is it possible to fit the inner body panels into the element trailRunner? Thank You.
Thanks 😊
