Element Sendero was my first, second and now i have 4 elements in the “garage”. Greetings from Denmark and glad my Norwegian neighbor is back online :-)
Thank you very much for teaching me how to stretch my SCX6, Mine currently pulls my fishing cart well and is four wheel steer.! I'm about a year late but thank thank you for the help. Now I gave my cousin a mint SCX6 and he is having fun at 46 and about to stretch it for hauling. Awesome channel!
Oh, I knew I was looking forward to this video, and definitely I was not disappointed! I'm happy to see your positive review of this one, I love the body style, but I will wait and see if they do a builder's kit version, I have a paint scheme brewing in my head, ha ha! The run footage was really nice. Normally I get bored if it's more than 4-5 minutes, but this was great, not least thanks to that mike of yours, very pleasant to listen to. Ha ha, "börnehave"... Yeah, like you, I also come from a country that is flat as a pancake, but now live somewhere with this amazing dynamic rocky landscape. That's a great place you got, lots of bared gray rocks, not overgrown with moss, very nice! By the way, don't be afraid of those overhead power lines, it's just 20 or 33kV, they won't microwave your brain. 😉
Glad to see that you are still kicking! Regarding the discussion about painting - I like the idea of doing some simpler schemes. I request some how-to tips, for example how to get paint to not bleed under tape so you can get good lines between colors and how you would fix it if things don't go well. Thanks for posting and please keep it up!
Another amazing video with great content. Hello from Australia, been quietly watching your video's in the background for sometime and have based two purchases from your reviews. This was another amazing one. Thanks for your honesty and thanks for sharing the beautiful scenery of your playground. Cheers
I am so glad you are back Chris! Your channel inspires people like me like no other. First, we get a total no BS honest review of the product and what to expect while running it on the trail. Stellar coverage and audio make it seem like you are right there. Really appreciate that. Not to mention the stunning scenery and great laughs and giggles with your humor. I also really appreciate the fact that you are going to be "going back to basics" so to speak for beginner painters like myself. I am really looking forward to that coming from a true artist! I purchased the Element Enduro builders kit after your review of it as I had not heard of them until watching your videos. So, T H A N K Y O U for all you do Chris! 🤜🤛
Welcome Back!! I love that you chose the Utron as your triumphant return. Personally I think the body is good but will really pop with some accessories and paint which is in your wheelhouse. Also, as a newbie painter I welcome your beginner paint series. I would love to learn from the best! Finally, more scenic Norwegian landscape shots are always appreciated. Take Care!
I've been patienly waiting and I'm not disappointed at all! Great video, that audio component is fantastic. I'm going to take a 2nd look at the Utron due to your presentation. It seems to be crying for a paint job!
Glad you're back and everythings ok. I love my Utron. I have the knight customs files and have printed a few of the items. The interior is pretty awesome. The fenders work really well. There are some weak points with it, but it's not a comp truck so it doesn't matter. I just love watching it work. That suspension is so realistic. Anyhow, thanks for the unbiased, honest review. Keep up the good work.
Ecto was my first Element. I now own a total of four including the Utron. Greatly improved IFS, really impressed with the performance. Love wheeling this truck. Oh yeah, glad you're back and yes your paint jobs are intimidating but quite amazing!
i think element knocked it out of the park with this release! the ifs2 is so good compared its unreal and the truck is super capable right out of the box! for 299 its a no brainer! im thinking about buying a second. i just finished installing the knights customs parts on mine! thanks for another great video Chris look forward to seeing what you do with yours
I'm really surprised that no manufacturer has approached you for a Hemistorm livery. You have excellent experience and talent, even for more simple designs, and 100k subs. I think they are missing a great marketing opportunity. All the best
Great idea about the painting series, I’ve been trying to get a good paint finish for 40yrs 😂 currently trying to paint a hard body for the element I’ve just built. But lots of issues with paint bleeding through even with the 3M masking tape! Great video.
I'll tell you when you want to run NiMH Batteries. When you want to give your Nephew an RC but his Parents won't trust their child or take responsibility to Charge his Lipo. He can charge and run his own NiMH and I'm still the cool Uncle when I bring over a charged Lipo! I learn every time you do a paint video but I like your 'drive' videos also. One of your best was when you drove all the way down to the fjord. I go back and watch it from time to time.
IFS + Trailing arm is what I like... I tried with gatekeeper + IFS... was too top heavy... did the IFS with the builders kit enduro... love it. but 2wd now... this seems to fix all those issues and I'm sure a nice runner. not a fan of the black windows... body it alright... wish it was more prerunner lookin... overall, decent value...
Great review and video! I just stumbled into your page looking for Utron videos. I first heard of the element brand on the scale builders guild channel
Loved this video. I miss getting on the trail we haven't done much lately, been busy with life and the kid racing! going out in the am to get a good run in though. Also im on board with you for the dual ifs. now that its all sorted id love to get one made up for our local 1.9 u4 class, to see if they would let me run it. It would be a fantastic option. I think id like to see an open Diff option come first before portals from element. Id reaaaaallly like to see them come out with a faster larger scale too. Like the AE Nomad DB8, we have two of those and love them!
I think just addition of panel line tape would make a world of difference to the body. I’m looking forward to seeing what you do with the body so it will shut up the masses.
There is somthing strange about the body of the Utron ..... Its like they started making a cool looking truck body and gave up half way through........its way too square, the only thing I like about it is the front end, from the windscreen to the rear id just plain weird. Love your content though, i hope you manage to make it a bit more presentable
I think the Utron body has some possibilities, and I think my 3D printer will definitely come in useful in seeing what can be done. What impresses me most however, is how insanely well the chassis performs right out of the box! Thank you for watching, I appreciate it!
Great video, the Utron was on my wish list before and after watching your footage I think it’s just a matter of time before my wish comes true! Keep up the good work
Full IFS? So you try to downgrade to a Slash or any other of the zillion short course trucks? IFS front, solid rear on trailing arms...won't get better than that. 😉
Missed you, friend!
Thanks for always being a friend!
I am 100% positive. If anybody comes up with a paint job to make that truck look nice it’s gonna be you. Can’t wait.
That’s for sure …. Cause that thing is ugly as hell!!!
it is literally the blankest canvas (most blank canvas🤔) ever. Award for most boring looking RTR goes to…
utron is my first rock crawler. it opened a new world for me. the rc world.
Element Sendero was my first, second and now i have 4 elements in the “garage”. Greetings from Denmark and glad my Norwegian neighbor is back online :-)
can't wait to see the shop tour , modifications and the new section
Happy to hear that, stay tuned!
I have a gatekeeper kit that became a monster ecto. Now there are lots of trickle down parts for my new utron. 👍🏻
Nice one brother. Great to see you back

Great to see you back Chris. More painting and more big scale would be awesome.
Looking forward to the paint series as well as more regular content ! Glad you are doing well !!
12:21 YESSS please !!!!!
A new refresh teaching from the basics, I’m super pumped for that !!
Big salut 🫡 from France

Always love what you do in your videos. Very unique no one else does it like you!
Looking forward to seeing the different kinds of videos! Any videos from you will always be great! 😊 Still jealous of your backyard!
I hope you will come wheel here some day!

Found out about element from your recommendation when I asked about getting into crawling. Thank you greatly appreciated I really enjoyed building it
That is great to hear!

Thank you for the welcome back! :)

For what it’s worth, Chris, I haven’t been able to do any R/C in a couple years but I still watch your videos. You produce great content.
So jealous of your driving location. Wish I had a place near me like that.
We are very fortunate indeed!
i think element knocked it out of the park with this release! the ifs2 is so good compared its unreal and the truck is super capable right out of the box! for 299 its a no brainer! im thinking about buying a second. i just finished installing the knights customs parts on mine! thanks for another great video Chris look forward to seeing what you do with yours

awesome rc and great off road test run

One of your best was when you drove all the way down to the fjord. I go back and watch it from time to time.
Good point actually, I never thought of that! More fjord outings coming, as there are plenty of trails to play around on. :)
That trail is sooo nice :) I must go to Norway some day to crawl. 👍Denmark is too flat and without rocks compared with this... 😅
This might be the perfect truck to convert into a prerunner.
I agree, the chassis is fantastic!
Another great video on a great rc product! 🤘🏻

Great to see you back at it! Really enjoy your paint videos because I can’t paint worth a dam! 😂😂😂
The paint scheme thing taking it all the way back to the beginning that would be Awesome.
We will take it from the top again!
Great review and video! I just stumbled into your page looking for Utron videos. I first heard of the element brand on the scale builders guild channel
Welcome aboard!
Full ifs , Goodluck have fun trying to calm torque twist.. especially if under load..

Some crazy 1/7th scale from their stable would be a killer!
I like it!!
So do I! 😄👍🏼
I like it, but does it still have the bump steer that element is known for?
Just ordered this truck... and will also look at the microphone too. Looking for something decent for my channel going forward//
I think just addition of panel line tape would make a world of difference to the body. I’m looking forward to seeing what you do with the body so it will shut up the masses.
I hope you like what I did to it!
@@hemistormrc of course!
Is there an IFS v1 to v2 conversion kit? Are the parts interchangeable? I just purchased a v1. I didn't know there was an updated version v2. 😢
This is modeled after the Australian utility vehicle, the (ute) not an fj . 👍🏼
👍
:)
duimpje omhoog

That's a real Australian Truck No??
I've seen some come by on Instagram!

IFS front, solid rear on trailing arms...won't get better than that. 😉
Good truck for the money 💰
Amazing value!
