Nice and well-put together vid! One thing though for anybody watching: For town PokeCenters, you only need to step foot in their respective town in order to use them as fast travel points. And another thing: If you're heading to places where you're underleveled, I recommend getting a Ghost type beforehand and putting it in the front of the party. All Ghost types have the ability to flee a wild pokemon battle regardless of their speed, so you don't have to worry about your Pokemon fainting! Hope these two tips help.
im old school, so its taking some time for me to adjust to this open world style. Basically theres too much stuff thats not clearly explained. Traveling is slow until you get your Legend unlocked. Theres not a lot of direction, just walk around the whole world snatching up innocent pokemon. I miss the secret places, unlocking new areas instead of just having instant access, I liked going to the pokemon center computer to see my boxes and items etc. its very different but still I want em all...
I hear you and first I felt a lot of the same way I’ve been playing these games since they were black n white and pickachu never went into the ball lol bt it’s definitely grown on me and is so much fun beacuse of all u can do
Actually with regard to levels and obedience, if you catch a Pokémon at a low level and raise it, that Pokémon will remain obedient regardless of the amount of badges you have. Thus, you can level them up as and when desired, though I think the cap for the Pokémon that you can catch is Level 20. Anything lower than that and you should be good. :)
@@vinnyl264 They do matter for higher level Pokémon. It's just that for lower levels if you caught them and levelled them up, they still obey you. If you caught a higher level Pokémon and didn't have the badge, then it won't obey you. Badges count only for Catching Higher Level Pokémon and for Trading.
This actually applies in older games, as for my 2nd Pokémon Sword play through I set myself the challenge of getting a team of fully evolved Pokémon before I actually registered for the Gym Challenge. I have a Level 45 Kommo-o, and it still obeys me even though I don't have any gyms badges yet.
I don’t think the info about the Tera stab multiplayer is accurate? In that example it would just be a 1.5x multiplier if it has a water attack (hence the introduction of terablast). It’s only 2x if it terastalizes into its original stab type. So thundurus with Tera type electric using Thunderbolt would be the 2x multiplier
I'm very casual now with pokemon. So thank you for making this video. I really like where Pokémon is going forward. So I wanted to support and bought Violet. I hope we get patches. But all in all great fun so far. I just hope they keep pushing for that next big Pokémon adventure. I like so far the growth of Pokémon with this game.
Thank you for getting me through my cardio this morning. My time on the treadmill has gone by a lot faster with your last two videos. Can’t wait to play tonight!
@@sovereignblastoise6767 I have gone back and forth with weight my entire life. I tend to not be able to lose weight unless I diet and do cardio. When I first got out of high school I was around 300lbs and had never been in a gym. Luckily I had some help after I graduated. My main suggestion is this. It possibly, wake up and at least go for a 30 minute fast walk (treadmill or outside). Do this again at night (if possible). Due to my schedule I’ll either run now or do a 1 hr fast walk. In terms of lifting I usually do the following: biceps, triceps, back, chest, shoulders, and legs spread throughout the week. I usually do core exercises every day, calves with legs, and traps with back or shoulders. I generally do four to five exercises per muscle group (not core/calves/traps). With 12-15 reps per set. Try to keep your time between sets low (at least under one minute, or 30 seconds if possible). Light weight is fine for this at first. You will still build muscle and lose weight. It’s better to learn what your body can do at first to avoid injury. The most important thing is diet though. I can try incredibly hard in the gym and not lose weight if my diet is trash. Everyone is different, but what worked for me is a very low carb diet with lean meat. Eat high fiber green vegetables with these meals as well. Lots of eggs in the morning. You will feel hungry at times, but can nearly eat every 2-3 hours due to how lean your meals are. I keep myself satisfied throughout the day with no issue. Also important. Drink water! Water helps a lot with weight loss and you’ll feel great staying hydrated. I generally try to never feel thirsty. There’s some water bottles out there that have marks on them with hours to give a general approximation how much water you should have in a day. Overall, just stay consistent with what you’re doing and it’ll work. At my best I was nearly losing 5-7lbs weekly and felt great. This eventually slowed down when I lost around 80lbs. Hopefully some of these tips can help you/others. Didn’t expect to give tips on a Pokémon video but in always happy to share what worked for me.
@@sovereignblastoise6767 Before I even started exercising I lost around 10 lbs just by stopping soda. Best of luck to you when it comes to your health and weight loss goals. Just focus on yourself. The dens should be helpful because the last trainer battle I faced had my pokemon out leveled by around 2-3 if not 4 levels I won, but I clearly need to level my pokemon more. I was even out leveled by a nearby seviper, which was around 2 levels higher that I did actually catch and is now a member of my party. I have beat one mainline game before pokemon black more than 4 years ago, so I have some experience but not too much. I got a terra jigglypuff today, I don't know its terra type because I didn't check and I don't know how to tell the things above the pokemons heads. I want to collect pokemon so false swipe will help because I was trying not to battle wild pokemon I already had because I didn't want to faint them while trying to catch them.
You know the advice i would love someone to give is to understand that the creator made pokemon with the intention thay ANY pokemon could be the most powerful, so I am in no way the best but heavily encourage people playing with unconventional teams to get the best moves and strategies that fit you because no one way is correct!
So i am very new to Pokémon and I see that my attacks have a usage number im assuming? Like I have bullet seed and it says something like 15/15 next to it. If u use that attack the number on the left drops by 1. How do I refresh this without going to a Pokémon center.
4:53 is wrong. If you trade your starter to a friend's, then get it back, it can start disobeying. Happened to me and a friend recently. Hopefully it is a big that will be patched but as of November 21 2022 YES YOUR STARTER CAN REFUSE TO OBEY! Please spread this warning if you can

Get an early magikarp evolve it head straight to the psychic cave with lots of dragon and ground types and keep defeating all of them and get ur team huge experience! If u can get a Bronzong that learns Flash cannon and psychic moves and defeat every toxtricity and u will be able to level up all ur pokemon to lv 40 above!
Amazing video
Very well done
I've been steamrolling with Ceruledge
How do you even get to the point of being able to get to the hill before the mount, I can’t even find the way to reach that area from the starting area lol
thank you man
Thank you!
I saw the video. Do IVs are still in the game? Great job btw.
How far do you have to be to buy mints? I’ve been resetting for an adamant sprigatito for 3 hours now
Woah! For a beginner pro tip guide this is very spoilery 1:36. 😱
UA-cam had me randomly unsub but I knew my guy Philly would have some A1 content to watch
In regards to that early area with the dragons how exactly do you get there I have been trying for hours (no mount) to get there and haven't found a way to the hill your talking about
You walk around
@@PhillyBeatzU that's not much of an awnser
@@REDREBELGAMING42 I walked around and couldn’t find my way up there no matter what I trued
@Junior Lopez go to the grass gym town and look at the map you can cross over just east of there and climb the hill to catch the pseudo legendaries
@@REDREBELGAMING42 tried this and made it in 5 minutes! Thank you....caught axew, swablu, bagon and zangoose!!
The titans don't get harder as you get further away. I beat them with 2 mons by the last one the highest level they where was 35
Always buy 10 pokeballs for 1 extra premium
It’s actually the second because legends of arcues is also own world
Best tips ever thanks bud. No I know to jump off every thing
I wish I watched this video before I started the game I went in completely blind not having played Pokémon since Pokémon ruby but at the same time I guess I fully experienced the game without others help until I wanted shinys lol
i literally found a shiny as my second pokémon, a shiny lechonk
Im soo mad i wont get tyranitar i ended up getting the violet version 🤦🏻♂️
Trading?
Im going from playing xy on the ds to playing scarlet on the switch and i feel like i just watched gameplay of a whole different game in a whole different universe
How do you get the swimming function for Koraidon? Been off the game for a bit just starting up again but I never figured it out when I started 😂
Defeat a boss to unlock it😊
Can u EV train with auto battles ? Nobody has answered that
Does anyone know if pokemon keep their tera type upon evolving? If I evolve a normal tera type eevee into vaporean, will vaporeon be water or normal type? If I evolve a grass tera eevee into flareon, will the flareon have a grass tera type or fire tera type
VAPOREON IS SPELLED WITH 2 O'S, AND NOT 2 A'S THE FIRST TIME!
So no more finding Philly’s satchels in This game.
Where is the spot at early game, where you can skip the map by encountering a POKEMON???? I need help
Nice useful tips, thanks. But please give a spoiler alert next time or blur out new pokemon.
Oh the pro tips are here 😂
10:30 Megas still stayed Megas upon switching out, this isnt completely different than anything we've seen before
You could have at least tried to hide the new Pokémon and new forms instead of spoiling it for everyone who just wanted a few beginner tips
i cant find the path to get to the hill where the swablu and larvitar are
I thought I was the only idiot missing something. There is literally no way to this point on my map?
You know the advice i would love someone to give is to understand that the creator made pokemon with the intention thay ANY pokemon could be the most powerful, so I am in no way the best but heavily encourage people playing with unconventional teams to get the best moves and strategies that fit you because no one way is correct!
How does one catch or throw a pokeball/catch a pokemon without going into battle mode? is this something you learn later on?
You cant catch without battling anymore
Hey Philly does Fast Traveling (to PokeCenters) change the overworks spawns and other things like breakouts?
Saw Austin John closed his game and changed console time to get new spawns on outbreaks so dk if that helps cuz I'm not sure either lmao
I would have appreciated “tips for early game” to not spoil Pokémon from… not the early game
this feels like there’s soooo many options im like 8 hours in and only just got my 3rd gym badge 😭
Can't find a way to that spot for the dragon pokemon can you do a run when you show how to get there because I can't find a way there
Went straight to a cave and found a gible hahaha
So i am very new to Pokémon and I see that my attacks have a usage number im assuming? Like I have bullet seed and it says something like 15/15 next to it. If u use that attack the number on the left drops by 1. How do I refresh this without going to a Pokémon center.
Item called “Ether”…… I’m old school so it may be called something different now
Are all forms of lycanroc in the game?
4:53 is wrong.
If you trade your starter to a friend's, then get it back, it can start disobeying.
Happened to me and a friend recently. Hopefully it is a big that will be patched but as of November 21 2022
YES YOUR STARTER CAN REFUSE TO OBEY! Please spread this warning if you can
THIS IS TRUE! Got my Haunter evolved and gotta back and started to not obey.
so excited
Got into the game played not even 20 min and caught a shiny Azrill…never have I ever
